Chapter 12: Make Them Regret
Arriving at the Fu Manor, Qin Wuxie saw the two silhouette of her first ever friends.
She wave at them enthusiastically.
"Wuxie! How are you? You look so beautiful as ever." Min Ju said. Her eyes turning into slits. Because of that, she looks even more stunning. Even the mole at the corner of her eyes added some charms.
"I'm good. How about you?"
"The same as always. Bored, and if nothing catches our eyes, we just eat foods every time. We were planning to watch some good movies. What do you think?"
"I'd love to!" Qin Wuxie's voice came out loud and she smiled embarrassedly.
He Rue hooks her arms to her shoulder and said, "There's nothing to be embarrassed about. Just be yourself."
Looking back at the driver behind her she nodded and the driver gives her a wink and a big thumbs up. It means that he likes Min Ju and He Rue as her friends.
"Just call me anytime, young miss." The driver said and enter the car before driving off.
"I never knew that you two are from the Fu. Mr. Fu Jin was admired by my mother before he gave all his wealth to his wife." Said by Wuxie that made both Min Ju and He Rue stiffen.
"I'm sorry. Did I say something wrong?" Wuxie notice the atmosphere and apologize.
"No." Min Ju smiled. "Welcome aboard. Haha, you know. I am actually Fu Jin's granddaughter."
All of a sudden, Qin Wuxie stared at Min Ju agape. So, this is the daughter of Mrs. Su and Mr. Min? Although not many knew that they have a child, as a daughter of a big family and was part of the business world. Her parents and grandfather knew a lot. It was said that the former Mrs. Min now Mrs. Su and Mr. Min didn't love each other through the years of their arranged marriage. And while their parents knew nothing about, they decided to get back to their old lovers. At that time, Min Ju and her twin was born.
Realizing all of that, Qin Wuxie's heart turn cold. She also heard that the two were sent to US ever since they were a child and after that, Mrs. Su and Mr. Min walk their separate ways. It was a long way before their divorce paper was finally approved.
Leaving the two young ones abroad to be with their beloved new family. A five year old living in the states without the care of their parents... Qin Wuxie can't simply imagine.
Min Ju smiled. She knew what Wuxie is thinking. She must have knew about her parents.
"Mrs. Su, would definitely regret leaving you, Min Ju." She said without thinking.
"I was planning to make them regret." Min Ju answered coolly, letting a crisp laugh escape her thin lips.
"That regret will come soon."
Seeing her smile and laugh like that. She knew that Min Ju has a plan and she wanted to be a part of it.
"If you need something, you can tell me." Wuxie reached out her hand to touch Min Ju's.
"I'll definitely call for you."
"Group hug!" He Rue shouted and pounce on the two. The three of them laughed together and Qin Wuxie could not be any happier. She can't believe that she have friends!
And just so you know, this is her first group hug ever with some friends!
"Let's go and watch a movie now. And then we'll eat popcorn. And, Wuxie, you should stay over for tonight after the party."
"Like sleepover?"
"Hm! We'll have pillow fight!" Min Ju added.
"Or we could just lit some bonfire in the backyard while eating marshmallows and at the same time gaze at the stars!" A dreamy look appeared on He Rue's face.
Qin Wuxie have also imagine what will happened so her heart leap up from excitement.
"That's exciting! Let's do it after the party then!"
...
"We should watch this one. Insidious."
"Nah. That's too old and scary."
"Um. I don't really like horror. Can we skip that? But if Min Ju really want to watch Insidious then it's okay."
"Aha! Let's watch Monte Carlo! I really love this one!" He Rue said.
"Fine. You should be thankful that I love Selena." Min Ju glared at He Rue and sat down besides Qin Wuxie.
