"W-where am I?" I shouted to myself out loud like an idiot.
I looked around me and all I can see is nothing but a screen showing a massive list. It says world options and it ranges from animes to novels. It covers a lot.
I started to think about which world to take as a test run. I need to choose a world that won't be strictly ruled. A world that gives me the freedom to exercise my power. So let's start crossing out options.
Worlds related to modern civilization or the future are already crossed out for now. I feel like they are too uptight in terms of rules and it would be hard to make an impact in the world faster as I would be leashed if I was caught doing things that are breaking those rules.
Otherworlds to avoid are anything medieval. They believed in weird stuff like burning witches or fake sorcery... too religious too. If I were to, accidentally, leaks information about the future like advancements, I would be branded as a heretic.
Lastly, I would avoid worlds with cultivation for now because I still need to adapt. Additionally, it is going to be a while for me to obtain real power in those worlds.
So, the only choices that I am personally fond off are One Piece, Toriko, Hunter X Hunter, Fairy Tail. I can explain why for each one of them although they kind of break some of my requirements.
Although One Piece may have the Marines to restrict me in some ways. But, they are corrupted and their system is quite horrible. I can live as a bounty hunter or as a Pirate Warlord.
As for why Toriko and Hunter x Hunter, although they are modern in some ways, is because I can get a license for their respective job and I would be relieved of restriction. I can basically do any types of crimes as long as I am a hunter. I may be charged but they aren't as heavy as I hoped it would be. It's not like I would do those but just in case.
Finally, the reason Fairy Tail is on my list is because of guilds. I can destroy a whole port and the one who is going to take the burden is the guild. Yes, kind of evil but I won't destroy a whole port. All of this is just a "just in case" scenario.
After thinking for about half an hour, I decided to take one Piece as my first world. Same reasons as before. They gave up so much freedom for no reason and I don't get it.
I held up my hands and touched the screen window that pops up in front of me a while ago. I clicked the name, "[One Piece]," and pressed yes.

Okay. This just got way too complicated. Currently, I have two things to decide. The Champions I select and their rate of growth. Or more specifically, which stats would I prioritize. For the world of One Piece, I need to think of a specific champion to choose that would help me achieve my goals.
