Chapter 20: Custody.
After spent some time trying to find clue on where Harry Potter actually spent his childhood, Mrs.Smith and Mr.Wilde, from Ministry of Magic finally found a little orphanage in muggle London. From the caretaker of the orphanage, after some mild mind probbing, they found Harry Potter's adopters. Papa Charlie is a man in his early 30, divorced, with one daughter that live with her mother, his ex-wife. He have a clean record, but one big flaw.
Charlie Swan is a muggle.
The Ministry of Magic is in uproar, it Savior's life is the hand of a Muggle. They subconsciously forget another Swan that have magic in her blood. Minister Fudge insist that Harry Potter would need a magical guardian, not a muggle one.
While Sirius just want to have Harry live with him, Minister Fudge actually think as far as having the House of Potter in his hand. He change his mind and petitioned in the Wizengamot to place Harry Potter in the custody of the Ministry of Magic.
The matter dragged on.

Harry Potter himself enjoy his school year like any 11 years old would. Time flies. Because none of the normal event that involved the Philosopher Stone happen this time, the House Cup has been win by the Ravenclaws. The school year has officially end.
Every students has finished packing. The house elves of Hogwarts will transfer their bellonging to the Hogwarts Express. The students will leave Hogwarts in Horseless Carriage to Hogsmeade, from where they will be get on the train.
Harry and a couple of his friends is in the last line of waiting for the carriage. They see Professor Snape stride over to them, the end of his black robe flying with his steps. They got tense when the Professor stop at their side.
Professor Snape black eyes seems to stop at Iris for a moment before he turn to look at Harry, "Potter." Professor Snape said, "The Headmaster request for you to see him."
Iris give Harry a 'I told you so' look.
Harry sigh, "Yes, Sir." he said.
The Professor said nothing else and leave. Harry's contemplating if he can run for it, when the Professor call him, "Potter, I will take you to the Headmaster Office." Professor Snape has already stop walking, and turn around to wait for Harry to move.
Harry hang his head, then walk away with the Professor.
"Is everything okay?" Hermione Granger ask Iris.
There are the three of them, along with Nott and Malfoy that is waiting for the horseless carriage when the Professor show up. They are surprise and could not help but looking in worried curiousity on Harry's gradually disappearing back.
"I heard the Minister want to get ahold of him." Draco said softly.
"Why would the Minister care about Harry's life?" Hermione is confused. Is orphan in Magical World is the Minister responsibility?
"He's Harry Potter." Draco said, as if that's enough answer.
Hermione already get used to Malfoy crude answer and did not ask anything again.
Theodore Nott's eyes dimmed. The Minister might have his own plan. Those people are always seeking for power for themself.
"He'll be fine." Iris said. She usher them to get in the carriage. Her eyes stray to the bony horse that pull the carriage. Who's to show up first..
"Come on." Theo said, he poke his head out of the carriage, he too look at the Thestrals, "Lets wait in Hogsmeade."
Iris nodded then climb in the carriage.

Harry walk slowly behind Professor Snape. He know that this will happen sooner or later. Dumbledore always pay a little too much attention on his life. He's just expect it to come the first time he's arrived at Hogwarts, but the Headmaster did not call him. Instead, he got Snape to investigated his life before arrive in Hogwarts.
After Sirius come to Hogwarts, Harry thought that he might speak to him, but the Headmaster still did not ask for him privately. Harry gradually forget to be vigilant. This is his mistake.
Harry look ahead and note that the Professor seems like he doesn't want to be here at the first place. The Professor stop walking. Harry is surprise and stop walk too.
"Professor?" he ask hesitantly.
"Be carefull, Potter." Professor Snape said, "You'll never know who your real enemy is."
"..." What was that?
The Professor resume walking and deliver him in front of the spiral staircase that's lead to the Headmaster office.
"After you." He motioned for Harry to climbing up the stairs. Harry did. Professor Snape climb the stairs behind Harry.
They stop in front of the close door of the Headmaster office. Harry glance at Snape. Snape avoid his eyes. The door open then. Harry walk inside and see Dumbledore with the man from Ministry before, Mr.Wilde. There is another man with round face.
"Harry Potter." round face man come to Harry, grabbing his hand and shook it, "I am the Minister of Magic. It is a pleasure to see you, Harry. Can I call you Harry?"
This man is still as same as before. Harry sigh inside. What a waste of time. But, Harry put a big smile on his face, "Pleasure to see you to Minister, Sir."
Minister Fudge look happy at Harry'ss response, "Yes, yes."
"Is there something you need, Sir?" Harry forgo the dilly-dally and ask, "My friends is waiting for me in the train station."
"Well," the smile in Minister Fudge face fell, "You see Harry, it is expected from our law to protect those who need it. A Magical children is supposed to be with a Magical guardian. They are the most suitable in case these children perform accidental magic. So, you see, the Wizengamot has decide to get a suitable guardian for you. You just have to follow me right now."
