Chapter 3: The Man With A Long Beard
"Gwydion a man is here to see you" "yes Mrs Crumberry" Gwydion replied to the orphanage Directress as she lead a tall,and very old looking man into his room.
"Hello Gwydion I am Professor Dumbledore I ran a school for special people like yourself". The old man's beard swayed to side to side as he sat down next to Gwydion on the bed opposite of a wardrobe. "I not crazy so you can just leave, that why your here right?"
Smiling Dumbledore said kindly "no I really am a professor that has a school. Now don't lie, strange things happen around you do they not". Gwydion still unsure if Dumbledore was telling the truth so he asked "why are you here if you ran the school shouldn't you been there?"
"Yes I should… so when you get to Hogwarts don't tell anyone ok. Especially Professor Mcgonagall, ok" Dumbledore had a mischievous look in his eyes as he said this. Standing up he said "well if you don't believe me I'll just be going then."
"Wait… please don't go". After yelling causing Dumbledore to waited for a second until Gwydion mumbled the rest. "Do dragons really exist?"
"yes but don't get any ideas they are incredibly dangerous creatures…. Hogwarts school moto is actually "Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus" or "Never tickle a sleeping dragon". Laughing Dumbledore then said "but don't ask me why."
Gwydion then open his wardrobe and pulled something out, "is that.." Dumbledore was shocked. "It's a dragon egg"
"I know what it is but how did you get it?"
"I was outside for a walk one day and a black dragon with purple eyes attacked me… after I killed it I took the egg… I wouldn't have killed it if I knew about the egg before."
"How did you kill it" Dumbledore whispered. "I control it's fire then burnt it to ashes" Gwydion replied quietly.
"Show me." In Gwydion's mind the man with a long beard all of a sudden became much, much more scary than the dragon. As Dumbledore watch Gwydion black eyes slowly turned red and a fire grew in his hand. "Can you do other things?"
"Yes I can control other things like air, water, earth, energy and, you already know fire". "That's it"? Dumbledore question. "Yeah… why is there more"? Gwydion asked. "Not… not well known". Dumbledore was shaken, if Gwydion was able to learn to control other elements if would be unstoppable… a god-like being.
It then it Dumbledore "you have no idea who your parents are"? Gwydion answer "no" as if he didn't care at all. "I will take you to Diagon Alley, then you will go to Hogwarts" Dumbledore said while trying to keep his excitement from raising but all he could think about was the "master of death."

"Take my hand" Dumbledore said, he had just finished a writing a letter after handing it to Gwydion he had said "this is for Hagrid. Do not open it.... or tell him about the egg". "You might want to close your eyes while we apparite".
