Chapter 3: General Haraldus
In the morning, there was a lot of commotion at the Celsa castle. All the members of the royal family were gathering along with the highly ranked officials and the generals. Security was tightened. Princess Adina, who was married to the country of Souchbeth, arrived, heavy in her second pregnancy. She'd been staying at the castle until she gave birth. The royal chamber of affairs was the only royal hall which is accessible only to the highly ranked personality and the royal family.
Prince Logan arrived at the hall with Phillipe. Phillipe, once an advisor, was allowed to attain such a high-level meeting. He never left the side of Prince Logan. Logan too, was little concerned about Phillipe today. He was greeted with the people, showing his gratitude and perfect etiquettes.
"Lord Logan, greetings from Knearwood.", General Haraldus greeted him. He was General at the southwest, taking care of Knearwood province.
"General.", Prince Logan greeted him. General Haraldus was the first mentor of Prince Logan and Prince Arthur, back when Prince Maximilian was still alive. His forelock was seemed to become thinner because of the age, showing his forehead. But his ponytail was still the same as it was back then. As Haraldus observed fixed gaze of Logan on his forehead, he quickly hid it with his palm and said smilingly, "I got old."
"Wide forehead", Logan didn't seem to pay attention to what Haraldus said just now, "God must have written bright future for you there."
Hearing those words, Haraldus eyes widened. "Your grace.", He cried. Logan looked in his eyes and didn't understand what just happened. "Is there anything wrong I just said, General?"
"No. not at all.", General Haraldus shook his head. "It's just that.", he added, "Those were the exact same words Prince Maximilian said to me."
'Father', Logan silenced for the moment.
"I'm sure he is watching over now.", Haraldus smiled.
"Hmm…" Logan didn't say a word. Phillipe, who was witnessing this whole scenario was staring at General Haraldus. He left with Prince Logan as Logan was about to greet other officials. However, his mind was working.
"General Haraldus." He thought, 'Of course, we would like you to be our assistant.'
