Hearing this, Ra instantly recovered, A small smile graced his face but other than that, the air he exuded could only be described as tranquil even as his battle spirit soared.
"You may as well all come at once!" He stated, raging flames dancing in his eyes.
"Huh? With merely you?"
"Let me get this straight, You want to take on 15 Elves?"
Ra nodded.
"Alone?"
Ra shrugged.
The look on Silvains face changed as an evil grin spread across it, raising his voice he spoke loudly.
"You all heard him, He asked for this so do not say we're bullying him!"
Silvain looked around quickly, the Elves were nodding vigorously."
"That's right, we all heard it." They agreed, looking around as if expecting someone to deny it.
Meanwhile Bast, Merlin, Yu and the others were no longer paying them any attention, carrying on their own conversations.
This made the Elves even angrier, How dare they look down on them!
Silvain chuckled derisively.
"It seems I have no choice but to show you all the gap between us, you will soon know the depths of the ocean and the height of the mountains, come!"
He soul formed.
And the rest of the Elves followed suit.
Ra nearly lost his hold on reality when he saw the forms these Elves weapons took, it could only be called a joke, Their weapons were all the same, basically a 2 foot long sewing needle, it was so thin it looked as if it would snap with a bit of pressure, Ra could no longer take this fight seriously, after gazing at the stupid looking weapons for a full minute he decided he might as well end this quickly.
Ra began to slowly advance causing Silvain and the others to reflexively raise their weapons.
Seeing that Ra still hadn't soul formed, they began to relax.
"Look, he's so scared, he's even forgotten to soul form his weapon!"
Drawing laughter from the Elves around him.
They grew more confident, taking multiple steps forward.
The High Humans glanced momentarily in his direction before abruptly turning away again, resuming their conversations.
Ra paused; Cocking his head at him he asked: "Since I've dared to challenge you all, Naturally I must have the confidence to win, who would take on 15 opponents just to be beaten, are you all stupid?" Ra mocked.
"They're not right in the head Ra, you shouldn't beat them too badly."
"Right, it's not too good to bully the handicapped!"
This inspired more mocking laughter.
Uncertainty began to spread among the Elves.
"Whatever, since we're already here we might as well see the outcome, I refuse to believe he can beat all of us!"
"No? We shall see if I can or not."
Ra then dropped all pretense as he emitted his aura, An aura above that of an Ancient Heroic soul, The flow of power being released from within Ra's body was so dense it was visible, Ra had completely surpressed the 15 Elves, even surprising the other High Humans.
"W-What is this strength!"
"So much power!"
"Since when was Ra this strong?!"
Ra didn't want to kill the Elves, so after a few seconds of being supressed beneath his power, Ra pulled it back and turned to walk back to his group.
"Oh, yeah." He paused. "That reminds me, this means you're all under my command, correct? after all, I am the strongest."
Not waiting for their answer, Ra returned to his group, setting up another game of Mana Bubbles with Merlin, They were quickly joined by Yu and Bast, killing time as they waited for Headmaster Gram to arrive.
"Dammit Bast, When did you get so good!"
Ra exclaimed as she beat the rest of them for the fourth time.
"I've watched you play this game for years Ra, I know your tricks, not to mention, I've created a few of my own!"
She said as she controlled the mana bubbles to form a huge tower, this tower had a toxic miasma spreading out from it in every direction, every mana bubble that came in contact with it was instantly destroyed, netting Bast her 5th win, just as Headmaster Gram finally arrived.
Ra dispersed his Mana bubbles with a wry grin on his face, whispering quickly before Headmaster Gram could speak. "From now on you make your own mana bubbles." he said, teasing her.
"Oh you're so petty." she teased back kissing him softly before she turned her full attention to their Headmaster.
Headmaster Gram's gaze swept across the cracked ground and slightly tattered state of the Elves.
"It seems the youth of today is just as spirited as ever." he stated, nodding approvingly.
"However, I hope you all can get along, for this expedition you all will split into 6 teams of 5, each team of 5 will partner with a corresponding team, you are responsible for each others safety inside the tomb, that means checking in every hour."
Headmaster Gram was silent for a while.
Bast picked up on this pretty quickly immediately forming a team with Ra, the others followed suit, gathering together, in addition to Bast, Yu and Merlin also joined their team.
Ra scanned their group for one more, his eyes landing on Seth.
"Hey you! Seth Robin, right?"
Ra gestured him over.
Seths eyes lit up as he ran over.
"Hey Ra, thought you'd forgotten me, its good to see you again." he said.
Seth had been inside a special space for over a month, of course when he exited he found that only a few days had actually passed, he had worked hard over the course of that month, he was no longer comparable to how he'd been before.
"Headmaster Gram!" Bast called out.
"Yes Miss Zurique?"
Basts face twisted slightly, she didn't like her last name, ignoring this she asked:
"I have a request."
"If it is within this old man's capabilities, this old man will naturally do everything he can to fulfill it." He said sagely.
"Thank you Headmaster, Well, if it isn't any trouble, can you assess what stage Ra is presently at? none of us can see through him."
"Oh? Is there such a thing?"
Headmaster Grams gaze suddenly changed, becoming sharper, focused, even seeming to glow, slowly his eyes began to widen in surprise.
"Headmaster?" Bast asked worriedly after not receiving an answer for a while.
Headmaster Gram shook his head.
"L-Level one...Evolved D-Dragonknight..." he stuttered.
"Evolved Dragonknight? What's that?!"
Headmaster Gram suddenly drew a lot of attention from the humans and the Elves.
"What is an Evolved Dragonknight! how come I've never heard of it!" Silvain came forward and demanded angrily.
"Naturally you wouldn't hear of it, ascending to Dragonknight isn't easy, did you think mana souls were cabbages?"
"Mana souls?"
Headmaster Gram sighed.
"A mana soul is a soul that forms when your own soul is exposed to high quality mana, you can refine your soul until its pure enough to evolve into a mana soul but this process takes years, it even took me over 1,700 years."
"Then, Headmaster? How did Ra's soul evolve so quickly?"
"That...you'll have to ask the man himself."
The others turned their attention to Ra, even Headmaster Gram looked on expectantly.
Sighing softly, Ra pulled out the draconite amulet around his neck.
Headmaster Grams eyes shone.
"T-That's a draconite crystal from a Dragon Emperor! Ra! Quickly tell me where you found this!"
Ra shrugged.
"I beat some guy named Neb in the Arena and I won it." he said simply.
Someone pushed their way through the crowd.
"Excuse me Headmaster, But that never happened." Naturally this person was Neb Alexandria.
Ra rolled his eyes.
"Did you think you were the only man named Neb in this world?" he asked with a slightly mocking tone.
Naturally I'm talking about the Dragonlord Neb Auaris.
"Dragonlord?!"
"What is it with all these new stages?"
"Exactly, What is a Dragonlord?"
Apparently a Dragonlord is a realm above Immortal Mage. Ra said in a bored voice.
However, Bast grew excited.
"At least I won't fall too far behind." she thought.
More questions were being rapidly fired at Ra and he was having trouble trying to answer them all until Headmaster Gram finally intervened.
"ENOUGH!" His voice boomed powerfully.
"There will be plenty of time for questions another day he said in a kinder tone."
"Did you all forget about the Saint Dragon Tomb?"
Realization began to set in as they recalled their entire purpose for being here.
"Ra, Take care of them." Headmaster Gram charged him as he opened the portal to the Dragon Tomb.
"Good Luck."
Was the last thing they heard before they disappeared.
