Chapter 1: New Life
Lili Wong was filled with happiness. On the bright sunny day, on a beach on an island 100 km from nearest country, she was being walked down the aisle by her paternal grandfather. He was walking tall, and proud, happy to see his granddaughter looking so happy, her eyes fixed to the man at the alter.
When they reached the alter, his granddaughter gave him a kiss on the cheek and quietly thanked him. She turned to the man in front of her. He was so handsome. His eyes resembling a dark starless night, his kissable lips curved into a smile, his black hair slicked back.
Dressed in a loose button down, and form fitting white pants, the man looked at the woman before him with eyes filled with love and happiness.
He couldn't wait to marry this beautiful woman in front of him. Dressed in a white strapless dress, and contrasted perfectly with her pitch black hair, that was draped over her shoulder in a messy french twist, adorned with white flowers. Her dress hugged her body in just the right way around her chest and hips. Her skin was positively glowing, although many attributed that to the new life growing inside of her.
Jin Wu took her hands in his, and stared happily at the woman that would soon become his wife. He lifted his hand and caressed her face before placing a warm hand on her round belly. As soon as he did, he felt a round of kicks from inside her dress.
His twins were happy that their mommy and daddy were getting married too.
Their wedding was small. The only attendants were Lili's paternal grandfather, her best friend Suzie, and Suzie's husband Li. Even though it wasn't a large wedding, neither he, nor Lili cared. The most important people were there, and that was all they needed.
Jin Wu placed a platinum wedding band on her left ring finger, and Lili did the same. After saying their vows, Jin gently tugged Lili to kiss her. She was so delicious. He knew he would never get tired of tasting her, and now that she was his wife, he could taste her whenever he wanted, forever.
Lili tried to hold back the tears that threatened to fall from her eyes. This was a level of happiness she never knew was possible in her life.
Three years ago, she ran away to this island to escape from the backstabbing schemes of her family. A year later she met Jin Wu, who was on the island for business. She didn't expect that they would fall in love, and that the love they felt would create the two little angles that she was currently carrying.
Although she half expected that he got her pregnant on purpose so she would marry him. She still found him incredibly adorable, and she loved him with all her heart.
After the wedding all of the attendants had dinner at Jin Wu's villa on the island, currently serving as the marital home for the newlyweds, until after the birth of their children.
At the dinner table, Lili never let go of Jin Wu's arm, leaning on his shoulder for support. Carrying twins was very hard, and now she needed help walking anywhere.
Even if she didn't Jin would still follow behind her, ready to assist her if she needed. As the date of the twins birth got closer, he became even more protective of her, worried that she might explode at any moment. At the moment she was scheduled to give birth in the next few weeks, that was why they decided to get married now, before they arrived.
"Jin, I'm getting very sleepy" Lili tiredly said still leaning on his shoulder. These days she couldn't barely make it through the entire day without multiple naps.
"Alright my love," Jin excused them both, and help Lili to their bedroom, which was temporarily located on the ground floor since Jin would rather avoid Lili on the stairs in her current state.
Once she sat on the bed, she gently tugged on Jin's arm, signaling for him to come closer. He sat down next to her, and started gently rubbing her stomach. Something she found him doing more often as the twins got more active. He loved feeling his kids squirm and wiggle around. It gave him a since of satisfaction to believe that his kids were as excited to meet their parents, as their parents were to meet them.
Lili placed her hand on top of Jin's and whispered "Jin, I love you so much. Thank you, for choosing me."
"It was never a choice. You are the woman I want to be with for the rest of my life. Even in the next life, and the one after that, I will always find you and love you." Jin said as he intertwined their fingers. He pulled her close in his embrace and placed a kiss on the crown of her head.
" I will only ever want you and our children"
