Chapter 3: Chaos

The entity hopped onto his mighty Phoenix and made his way to the neighboring country. As the revelation that his journey had begun hit him, he gazed upon the planet called Earth and sneered, disgusted by the piece of land that so-called humans inhabited, like the insects they were.

As his Phoenix pierced the sky, he felt the wind blowing across his face. Along his flight he spotted an abandoned science facility that was underwater in between Jersey City and Manhattan and decided to check out the building.

The entity himself was surprised that he was able to completely elude the helicopter squadron that was patrolling the island that was mostly destroyed.

I used a little too much energy for that attack, the entity though to himself.

Better find something to fight with if my magic is rendered useless. And this atmosphere is limiting my magic potency too... dammit.

Upon entering the building, he almost gasped at the extreme complexity of the infrastructure of the underwater facility. Glass tanks and tunnels spanned the entire structure, however no signs of human life even inhabiting the structure remained.

No files, technology, or documents were nowhere to be found, but a suspicious escalation in the floor in the main hall of the facility stuck out to the entity.

He bent down and gazed at it for a moment, then placed his palm on the floor.

I shouldn't be using magic. I'm exhausted and lacking stability, however if I don't acquire at least some intelligence about this planet, no matter how powerful I may be compared to humans, I will perish.

The entity groaned in pain unexpectedly as he cast Separation, splitting the connecting force between the trapdoor and the floor itself.

The trapdoor flung open due to the entity's overwhelming strength. A small storage room with no lights and clear walls and floor appeared before him and he grinned his maniacal grin. "There you are."

The different prototype weapons in shapes of handguns, rocket launchers, knives, rifles, and even swords were excavated by the entity greedily and he exited the facility, planning to test and modify them later on.

After only a week of testing and modifying the weapons, tinkering with their mechanics and changing the output of energy they emit, he chose the one of his choosing, however the blade wasn't capable of holding his power.

So, after he situated himself with his Gravitational Magic to stabilize the core power storage unit within the original blade, he started to forge a sword that he would use on his journey using numerous types of metals to ensure the capacity of the sword to be greater than the original.

Using the leftover scrap metal and other materials he found, he forged a sword, exerting all of his energy to make it using Compression, Density, and Gravitational Magic.

He was hiding out in an abandoned factory with no signs of life once again, however he didn't need to eat for a maximum of a month due to the reservation system that is inside every biological system of his kind, so he only needed rest whenever forging the sword.

In order to fully compensate for the extreme weight (even in his case), a short blade in range was necessary, but it was able to contain tremendous amounts of power. The entity was proud of his work... but there was a huge flaw that irked him like a thorn in his side;

The sword, due to the numerous amount of metals needed from the incapacitating blade made the physical blade extremely fragile, thus making only the magic attacks from the blade consistent even though the metals were dense in their hollowed state.

The entity knew he had to face many different enemies and he wouldn't have time to draw his weapons. The entity realized this and started casting a spell. Whenever he began chanting the spell, the selected weapon would begin to materialize in his hands using a specific casting sequence meant for the specific weapon.

After having situated himself with his weapons of choice he hopped on his mighty Phoenix and continued his journey to the neighboring country. As his Phoenix pierced the sky at a high velocity, he was finally above The neighboring country.
