Chapter 154: Thanksgiving Part 1a (151)
Josh was a nervous wreck. His family would be here any minute.
"Calm down, George is not scary." Ben said.
George and his family would be staying with them while Josh's father was staying with Mike and Sally.
Soon the doorbell rang and Josh jumped.
Bobby and Kimmy ran to the door.
"Hi, are you Uncle George and Aunt Angela?" Kimmy asked.
"Yes, we are." George said.
"Come in" Bobby held the door open.
Josh hugged his big brother and sister-in-law.
"Let me introduce everyone. This is your Uncle George, Aunt Angela, cousin Junior, and cousin Sam. Then we have your Uncle Ben my husband, cousin Bobby, cousin Kimmy, and the baby here cousin Maggie."
"Let me take your bags." Ben said.
Everyone went into the living room. "Bobby you and Junior are the same age." George said.
"How was the trip?" Josh asked.
"Long, Dad had a small episode on the plane but is fine now. He will be over tomorrow with Mike." George said.
"Well make yourself at home. Dinner will be ready soon. Just sit back and relax." Josh said.
"Need any help, I need to move around after that trip." Angela said.
"Sure follow me." they both left the room.
"Do you want to play in my room? I have a lot of stacking blocks." Bobby said.
"Sure" Junior said.
"Can I play too?" Sam asked.
"Come on the more the merrier. After dinner we can play on the game system." Bobby said.
"Papa, I want to play with someone." Kimmy said.
"Go play with the boys."
"No, papa boys are stinky."
"Then go get you color books and teach Maggie some more about drawing." He suggested.
"Ok" she then ran off.
Ben put Maggie down she sat playing with her turtle toy.
"So how is Dad really doing?" Ben asked.
"He has his days. He is doing well on the new medication but still forgets what he is doing once in a while. He has not gone back to hating Josh which was a blessing. I am a little worried about this visit. If he gets to much stimulated then he could go into an episode." George explained.
"Thanksgiving day we will be at my sister's home. She has a really big Mansion that will let all of us be comfortable."
"How many are there going to be?" George asked.
"Well, There is Mike and Sally, your Dad, You and Angela, Junior and Sam, Josh and I, Bobby, Kimmy and Maggie, Bert and Lily, Betty and Oliver, Trevor, Olly and Rose, Babs and David, Neil, Bella and Zane, Mr. and Mrs. Heart, Robert and Mary Ann.That makes 28 people." Ben explained.
"That is a lot of people. Who is cooking?"
"Bella has cooking staff who will prepare everything the day before so that Betty, her and Josh can just cook it and serve."
"Why don't they cook it?"
"Bella thinks holidays are for family so she gave the staff that day off." he smiled.
"Smart girl, make the staff happy and you get better help." George said.
"I want to get cleaned up and change cloths can you show me where I'll be staying?" George asked.
Ben took him upstairs and showed him the bathroom and the guest room where Ben had put the suitcases.
When dinner was ready everyone sat around the table to eat.
After the boy's played video games while Angela help Ben give Maggie and Kimmy a bath.
Angela had to admit she missed having a baby around.
"Do you want to have more?" Ben asked.
"No, I liked being pregnant but now that the boys are older I want to be the sports mom who is there not having to take a crying baby out." She said.
"I know we just met but what would you say if I wanted to rent your uterus?"
"What, why?" She asked.
"Josh and I want to have our own children two. We have found an egg donor now we just need a womb to carry them in. You said you like being pregnant. Then you could also be the god mother to the girls."
"How do you now it will be girls?" She asked.
"My mother told my sister." He then explained what happened to Bella and what the message she brought back with her.
"It sounds like fun but let me talk it over with George and get back to you." Angela said.
"That would be great."
George and Josh sat and talked. It was good seeing his big brother again he missed having him around.
"Josh, I got a job offer to be a private pilot for a company here in this City. The company is Puissance Entreprise. Wasn't that the company you worked for?" George asked.
"Yes, Are you going to take it?" Josh asked.
"I was thinking about it. I have a meeting with a Zain Heart after Thanksgiving that is one of the reasons we came here. Also there is a new treatment for Dementia at the hospital here Dad's doctor wants him to try."
"We are having Thanksgiving dinner at Zane's house. Just so you know. I bet Bella had something to do with all this. I was just telling her I missed you and Dad a lot."
"So you are Ok with us all moving near?" George asked.
"Yes, I would be very happy to have you near. Plus then you could have sunday dinner with us all. We get together every week."
"All 23 of you?" he asked.
"No all 20 of us. Zane's mom and Dad don't come Neil never comes, sometimes Dr. Tim and Father Joseph come. But it is a lot of fun."
"Sounds like it."
The girls went to bed very easy just a short story and they were out.
Sam did not want to leave the other two to take a bath but after he was threatened with not playing again while they were visiting he took his bath and got ready.
Next Junior took one upstairs and Josh had Bobby take one down stairs to be fair on game playing.
Ben then read them a thriller about pirates and gold before sending them to their rooms.
After all the kids were down the grown up sat and relaxed.
