A Shot rang out (145)
The next day Bella went to class. She had not given Zane an answer to his question last night. She only asked to think on it.
To raise someone else's child as your own is just what Betty and Ben are doing but was this different. It is Zane's child from him having sex with another woman on their wedding night.
As she was going to each lunch all of a sudden Bang. It sounded as a car back firing. Then Bella slumped to the ground. One bodyguard covered her while the other was looking for were the shot was fired.
Jillian laughed and danced around, "I got her, I got her now he is all mine."
A football player tackled her as the bodyguard came running over. Another student call 911 and was on the phone with the police. Soon sirens could be heard.
Lily happened to be on patrol when the call came in and was first on the scene. She cuffed Jillian and put her in the back of the car. It did not take long for the ambulance to arrive. Bella was bleeding out. The bodyguard was doing everything to hold onto the wound.
When Bella left for the hospital, Lily had Jillian transferred into another car for transport and she headed to Puissance Entreprise.
She asked to speak to Zane Heart on an urgent matter. The receptionist called up and Bert who would be Zane's new Assistant came down.
"Lily, why are you here?" He asked.
"I need to see Zane. It's important." She said.
"He's in an important meeting can it wait?"
"No, Please take me to him now."
Bert could see that Lily was about to cry so he lead her up the elevator to Zane's office then slipped into the board meeting.
"I asked to not be disrupted." Zane said.
"Lily is here and she says it urgent. She would not tell me what it was about." Bert said.
"If this is nothing I am going to wash my hands of your whole family and their crisis. Excuse me I'll be right back."
Zane marched into his office and roared, "What is it now!!"
"Zane please sit down." Lily said trying to stay calm.
"Just tell me what the hell you need so I can get back to work." He was turning into the beast once again.
"Sir, Your wife has been shot. She is at City Hospital. I was last told she was going into surgery and I'm here to take you there." Lily said.
Bert's knees gave out as he slumped to the floor. Zane stood there shaking.
"How and when?" Zane asked.
"About a hour ago. Shots out of no where came before the bodyguards could react. Jillian was the shooter. She is in custody now. Do you need a ride to the hospital?" Lily said.
Zane nodded and followed Lily. Bert shook his head and said he would be there soon he needed to make some calls.
Bert could not really think so he used the group app to contact everyone.

Doctors were working on her when Zane arrived. He called his Mother to come to the hospital. When everyone else showed up it was a waiting game. When the bodyguard that was with Bella came out in scrubs he told Zane everything that had happened.
The other bodyguard came to the hospital after giving a statement to the police. Now it was just a waiting game.

Bella was walking down a white corridor when a door opened and out step a young woman who looked familiar.
"Do I know you?" Bella asked.
"Bella my dear child, look at you all grown up." The woman smiled.
"Mama is that you?"
"Yes, my precious child it me." she said.
"Why am I here?" Bella asked.
"To make a hard choice."
"What choice?"
"You can stay here with me, or you can go back and live your life." Her mother said.
"I want to stay with you Mama. Life is to hard right now." Bella said.
"Let me show you something first."
Another lady came carrying two children in her arms. A boy and a girl.
"Bella, these are two of your children waiting for you. The boy will be born even if you decide to stay. The girl is inside of you now and if you stay here she will die too. Then here is another little boy to come in a few years."
"The one to be born is that Zane's other child?" Bella asked.
"It is a child to be born to another but will always be your child." He mother said.
"If I choose to go back will I always feel sad?"
"Bella remember the story of the silly goat. He worried the grass was always green on the other side. Till one day he traveled there to find what?"
"The grass was not greener, it was the same so he just needed to be happy with what he has and not worry about other things." Bella said.
"Bella, know I am proud of you and all my children. I have watched you all grow up to be fine people."
"I'll go back mama, is there anything you want me to tell the others?" She asked.
"Tell Bert the little red will be a handful but a blessing and I don't mean the child. Tell Betty I am proud of her for taking on special kids that will change the world. Babs, just give her a hug and say she can do it. Ben my baby son, the love he has chosen will bring him great joy. Also tell him he needs to find a womb, his daughters are waiting for him. Tell him Josh will be the father of one. Tell your father he has chosen a good woman, love her with all his heart."
Bella turned to walk back down the hall when loud beeping and people talking could be heard.
"She is back, finish up quickly before she can crash again." someone said.
