Chapter 3: Her Reflection
Hearing the noise of her falling onto the ground, the group rushed in and the two girls helped her up back on the bed.
'What happened, her legs were working fine the previous day!' panicked Yingyue. Her mind raced through the countless possibilities, but as she thought of one particular possibility. She paused and anxiously asked,"Get. Me. A. Mirror. Please, get me a mirror."
Curious, but not willing to ask one of the young girls ran out of the room and in a short while came back with a small hand mirror. Her hands trembled as she accepted the mirror, slowly raising the mirror to her face.
Staring right back at her was not her face. The young girl looking back at her seemed to be around 6-7 years old.
'How could this be her? Is it possible that transmigration and reincarnation is actually real?' questioned Yingyue. It would explain her new body, however for a modern women like Yingyue this magical incident is very hard to believe.
She wanted to go outside. However, this incident with the mirror, walking, and amnesia has turned the people around her into worrywarts and forced her back into the bed. Although, she was still quite terrified, as she looked around her all she could see was good intentions and worry. With a belly full of butterflies, Yingyue decided to sleep.
'Hopefully this was all just a dream,' she thought. Unfortunately for her, that wish would not be granted. Well, for now...
