Everybody thought that Jolina and Roel's tandem was perfect in all aspects. They were good as business partners and with their looks, though Roel was a typical Filipino man, a 5'7 in height with lean body, it perfectly complemented Jolina who stands 5'5 with an hour-glass body. It was rumored that she was a daughter of her mother to an american priest that's why her features were far different from her siblings. Nobody dared ask because people were afraid of her father's temper. So if it was true or not, nobody seemed interested of knowing the truth.
Aside fromJolina's ambition of getting richer and richer through Roel, she also truly fell in love with Roel from the very first time she met him but did not expect that a mere employee be given such attention and affection, after 10 years.
