Chapter 40: Chapter 40: Iris's Coming of Age Ceremony (Part 3)

Knight Riley give Vin's the mask, then they head inside.
Inside he saw the king of Siberia was dancing with his daughter. his daughter have very beautiful silver colour hairs which were seems like they are also dancing with air, half of her face was covered with a peach colour mask with very beautiful work. Her eyes were close.
The next second King Albert's figure blocks his vision, and before Albert turn again, a Noble lady comes in front of him to ask for dance.
He refused right away, while being as polite as possible. Vin is already trying to stay away from humans but those humans were just disturbing him again and again.
Seeing the crown prince getting irritated, his Butler spokes "First Prince, if you want you can stroll in the garden. Don't worry about here Knight Riley and I'll will take care of here, and also you can congratulate King Albert and Princess later."
Vin nodded and His Butler show him the way to the Garden. He send his Butler inside after reaching the garden

Iris gave her crown to the Butler and told him to give it to her mother as it was a little heavy. But she forgets to remove her mask.
she made her way towards the Garden, she knows every direction of crystal castle, as they were staying there for two days already.
after reaching the garden, the first thing she saw was a man's back who's sitting on a bench while staring at the sky. He seems to lost in his thoughts as he won't even able to realize her presence.
But actually he do, he have realised it, the time she enters the garden, he sensed her presence. As he is a vampire, and his senses were way stronger than a normal human.
He just don't want to alert the person who enters, to see if that person just passing by from there or have another ideas.
Iris just stand behind him, her gaze fixed on his back.
Seconds becomes minutes and Vin couldn't take it anymore, he said "Are you done staring?". Iris chuckle at his question and move forward.
Vin thought she is going to sit besides him but he still didn't move.
But to his disappointment she pass through the bench and sits on the ground , hands on her knees. she didn't even saw towards him but stares at the stars, after a few seconds she said "ah, I'm just checking your patience, afterall even after knowing my presence you pretend that you didn't, won't you!?"
her melodies voice sounds like honey to his ears but what shocks him is that she knows that he was just pretending.
But the last words made him chuckle, His laughter is like beautiful sound of bells for Iris, the next she listen was his soft, graceful yet fierce voice "so you know. Then, how you guess it"
she said "I didn't guess, I know it" and shrugged her shoulders, she made him chuckle again.
Vin's lips curled making a little smile, he said "You are really very interesting Princess, well congratulations for your coming of age"
A smile appears on Iris face as well, she said "well Thank you Prince".
