Royal Academy, known for its high level education for elite students, as well as common childrens. Even mages have to study from its subordinate Academy.
Royal Academy started its admission every year in spring, where Royal family offsprings from many country have to go through admission exams. Amd some come by donation for scholarship students
these exam are held for commoners in their consecutive towns. Only the top 20 commoners got the chance to study with scholarship. the age should be 13 to 14 for commoners and exactly 13 for Royals.

The two years passed by smoothly for both Iris and Carlos.
Carlos hence learned many things from his Uncle Albert, whereas Iris have become even better then Carlos in fighting, weaponry and even at theoretical academics.
A month before some professors come from Royal Academy to take Carlos exams and he met Iris too he was very impressed by her intelligence and offer her to to join the Academy even if its against the rule (Academy don't accept Princesses, give private lessons at their respective kingdoms)
But Albert politely decline the offer, and so professor didn't persuade further as he also know that Albert used to be the most intelligent genious student of their Academy, so Iris already have the best teacher for her.
Present time, the acception letter for Carlos admission arrived and he have to leave for Royal Academy which is in mainly located in Capital Kingdom, the center of all the Kingdoms.
The traveling takes whole three weeks, so he have to leave the next day.
Even after scolding him to rest for the day, Carlos still insist to practice with Iris for the last time before leaving for Academy.
Iris as always practice with all her might, and so Carlos too. They both have a sword showdown with each other and Iris win again.
Iris stared at Carlos for a while and said "you deliberately lose today, and you know I don't like winning like this".
Carlos said a less energetically "I'm just..... not in form right now". Iris nodded and said "ohhh".
"You..... really Iris" he said. Iris rolled her eyes and said "ok, ok fine stop behaving like you're leaving for a whole lifetime".
Carlos said "hmph, you wish so" and leave, make his way to his room. Iris just sign and continued with her practice alone.
later at night, Iris made her way to the gardan and saw Carlos sitting on the big swing looking all depressed. Iris sign again and thought 'this boy really, if anyone saw his right now, who will believe that he is three years older than me'
She made her way towards him and sit besides him, the latter turned his face away refuse to even see her. she said cutely "Carlos..... don't be so grumpy you are going tomorrow, don't be angry with your little Iris"
Carlos sneak a peek to her then said "hmph, who care if I'm leaving or not. Specially you won't right, then that's much better I'm not going to come to meet you again", She replied "please don't say that, you're the one and only best friend of this Iris, no one can replace you. please forgive me Carlos.... pleaasee, I'm sorry"
seeing her apologize so sincerely he chuckle lightly then pat her head, even after the latter glared at him he still did. After talking for a while, Iris start becoming sleepy and put her head on Carlos shoulder.
But Carlos didn't realize it and continued to talk, after sometime he said with a sad smile "Iris, I'll come back for holidays and .....and I'll miss you, I....I just want to ask will you wait for me" but what he heard were just calm breathing sounds of her.
that's when he realised that Iris have already fall asleep, she always let her guard down with him around. He smiled seeing her sleeping peacefully while leaning on his shoulder. He pick her up and made his way towards her room and after tucking her to bed he leave to his room.
The next morning Iris and Albert both see off Carlos to the carriage and he left to start his journey to his Academy.

TheOddOne_out I love to say again, Carlos is just a sweetheart, I love him soo much, how i wish he was real.
Anyway, dear readers I'm really disappointed, at least give some reaction this really making me frustrated.
