Chapter 11: The beginning(2)
DAVIS POV
"Nakia Oliver", why she choose this name, why I feel so much pain in my chest when I see her in that state.
I was at my office, then someone knocks on
the door, " come in", I said in reply.
PA Pattinson came in and said, " boss this file contains all the information related to Ms. Kiefer Samuel, " and hand over the file to me.
I put that file on my desk and thought why I'm so curious to know about her, why so, why all of this thing is happening to me... it's already 1 week since we met and throughout this week I was so restless...its nothing like me... I'm not like this at all and I got frustrated with all these alien emotions which I'm experiencing right now.
"let's go Pattinson", I asked PA Pattinson to drive my car and left the office.
KIEFER POV
After telling everything to Cecelia I planned to give a visit to my dear father, I looked at his photograph and said, " Heaven Samuel, let's see what will you say in your defense when we meet, will you except your mistake or you will just ignore me...that will determine your future, as your future will be in my hands....its just matter of time when it will happen".
before that, I called Cecelia and told her, " Cecelia from today onwards you will be my personal assistant cum, my team member, in other words, you will be my face that means Nakia Oliver face, for the general public and when the time will be right, I'll come forward".
and she agreed to this arrangement as she was getting various chances to be with his God, it was a win-win situation for both of us.
suddenly my phone started to ring and saw it was an unknown number flashing on the screen. and I just picked it
"Hello," I said,
"Hello Nakia, Davis this side", once I heard the other person voice my heart started to beat fast, his voice was like an energy drink for me making my blood pressure to rise.
" Hello Davis, what can I do for you", I replied back
"Agreement has been ready we just have to set our meeting time, so that we can officially become partners", he said.
" sure so I'll meet you at your office in a couple of hours, I have some unfinished busy to attend right now", I said with hesitation, I thought to be will be upset as I set the meeting time on my own without asking whether he will be free at that time or not.
But to my surprise, he just agreed with me and said, " sure, I'm not at my office I'll reach there in 2 hours then we can meet and discuss further",
"Okay then, bye," I said.
"bye", he replied.
and said Cecelia to arrange various document needed for the meeting and told her to meet me directly at the office in 2 hours as she is going somewhere to finish her business.
and she left for Samuel house.
At Samuel house gate, she asked the security guard to pass on the message to Mr. Heaven Samuel that, " just tell him, his daughter Keifer Samuel has come to meet me" when guard heard her he was showing a confused look as, since last two decades, there was only one Ms. Samuel and that was Katherine Samuel then who is this girl who is calling her self Ms. Samuel.
Even though he was in doubt, but he dialed house number on telecom and pass on the message to the maid to convey the same to Mr. Samuel.
When maid got this message she was also confused and thought the girl who was calling herself Ms. Samuel, must be a scammer, so in place of going to Heaven Samuel, she went to Katherine Samuel, and convey the same message.
At that time Katherine was pampering herself and she heard the message to got scared and showed the same in the form of anger and through everything on the floor and mirror was scattered on the floor and she gave a fears look to the maid and said, " are you maid, since last decade, you are working here, in that year have you ever heard this name Kiefer Samuel or have ever seen her in this house or any photo of her, she must be a scammer, just threw her out of the house and don't let her ever come back to our house ", after bearing Katherine words maid was fully confident that, the girl at the door is a scammer.
She conveyed the same message to a security guard. after hearing the response from the house security guard became aggressive towards Kiefer and threw her out of the house and told her never to come back as she was a scammer.
when Kiefer left the house it suddenly started to rain and she was just roaming on the street with confused looks and sit down at the bus station.
At the same time, Davis White was traveling from the same route he just noticed that some girl was just sitting at the bus stop without an umbrella but after a quick look at her...He just happened to shout at PA Pattinson to stop the car, " Stop the car, and pulled it back at the bus stop", he said in a panicked voice. So PA Pattinson just followed the orders and pulled the car back at the bus stop.
when he saw Keifer he just came out of the car and pulled Kiefer in the car and covered her with his coat as she was all wet in the rain.
and called out for her, "Kiefer are you mad what were you trying to do", it was like he was just talking to himself there was no response from Kiefer so he just holds her shoulder and started to shake her and said, " Nakia are you listening to me I'm talking to you"
when she heard her Nakia name has been called out she started to cry and hold Davis in a hug and said in sad voice....why he is not recognizing me as his daughter, why he is not ready to meet me...not ready to see me, why this is happening to me...first he just left me and mom to suffer on our own then he again got married to someone else and gave birth to another daughter.....all this didn't affected us...but after mom passed away...after that also he is not ready to accept me...not ready to recognised me", and she cried her heart out in Davis embrace and went to sleep.
DAVIS POV
I think I just saw Keifer sitting by herself in this heavy rain on the bus stop...i just didn't think about my imagine and ran towards her and pulled her in my embrace and suddenly she started to cry and I don't know what should I do to console her...i just hold bee in my embrace and let her cry and after that she just fell to sleep.
after that, I promised her that I'll always be her side and never let anything to happen to her ill support her...guide her...groom her so that she will become Nakia Oliver who will surely take back what belongs to her and only her.
when she fell asleep I kissed her and said in low voice, I Love You, Nakia Oliver... I don't know whether I'm doing it right to keep it to myself but one day I will make you fall in love with me.
