By the time I reached back home, it was already dark, I tossed out all the shopping bags on the bed and lay down.
I don't know why but somehow I was feeling excited about tomorrow's meeting.
Suddenly I thought, I don't know anything about Davis White.
I took out my laptop and searched for him on the Internet.
"Davis White...hmmm"
Davis white eldest son of Mr. Rick White, who has completed his study in medical science from top Medical University. currently handling White Pharma Inc. as working CEO. counted as one of the youngest CEOs as occupied this position at the age of 24 years old and turned path for white pharm inc. towards success.
There are rumors stating that..he is very serious about business and he doesn't like it when someone wastes his time. No romantic link-ups always busy with business.
"hmmm....that means I have to keep everything point to point with facts during the meeting".
Next morning I wake up at 7'o clock, got ready by the 8'o clock as my meeting was scheduled for lunch hence in the meantime I left for my shift.
I was currently working in a clinic nearby dormitory...basically, it was like... I was working for money and as well as for knowledge.
This clinic also uses some ancient techniques for the treatment..which was also my forte.
I planned to leave by 12, but around eleven pass an accident patient came by whose backbone nerves got blocked and one of the vertebrae got pressed leading to pain in the backbone and less movement in the lower part of the body.
I was the only staff person available at that time...so I didn't think about anything and lead the patient into the operating room.
First I treated external wounds of the patient, so we can stop bleeding after that I started to operate on him ancient medical practice to relocate vertebrae... It took 2 hours to complete the whole process and it was a very tiring process as it needs for the full concentration.
" Shoot I'm gonna be late " and I ran after giving quick tips to the person who came with the patient and got changed.
Thank goodness meeting place was near my working place even though I got late by ten minutes.
I asked on the reception about the meeting, "Excuse me, I have a meeting scheduled with Mr. Davis White, My name is Keifer Samuel."
" Okay, let me check it " Receptionist replied to me.
"hmm"
"Ms. Samuel, you are late for your meeting and Mr. White is not available right now," she said.
I hardly got late by 10 minutes and is he not ready to meet...It seems like I can't do anything about it. Let me try once more.
"Excuse me, can you please forward my message to Mr. White and tell him that...our meeting was set from 2 to 2:30, that means I have more than 15 minutes left for the meeting to end...so I just like to have one chance and even if he is not satisfied with my proposal he can reject it," I said to her.
"okay let me try to convey your message to Mr. White." and she dialed a number and starts to communicate my message.
Call last hardly for 5 minutes and he called out for me.
"Ms. Samuels, Mr. White is ready to meet you but you only have 15 minutes to state your proposal," she said.
and I move my head in agreement and left after saying Thank You to her.
I asked for the direction of the meeting room and started to prepare for the meeting, Suddenly someone called out for me,
"Ms. Samuel" and I turned to look for the source of the voice.
and meet with the person standing just behind me.
I looked at him in confusion and asked: " do I know you".
"Ms. Samuel, we met in the clinic a few hours back, my name is Robert Pattinson I was with the patient", he replied.
" Oh yes yes... I just remembered, sorry right now I'm in a hurry can we talk after some time." and left him alone standing there and left for the meeting room.
I was standing in front of the gate and saw my watch and said to myself I only have 15 minutes with me to satisfy Mr. white with my proposal and my time will start as soon as I enter this gate and then I knock on the door.
a man's voice came out of the room," come in".
whenever I heard his voice... I do know what happens to me my heart starts to beat fast and I lost control of my body and this husky and seductive voice starts to pull me towards the source of the voice.
