Chapter 4: Chapter 4 - Rank Assessment
Hunters could create their own or guild, similar to popular MMORPG games. Most unaffiliated Hunters joined such guild as they would have more freedom, than joining a guild affiliated to any families, organizations, or country.
The Hunter Association only regulates the requests of people such as subjugation mission, guarding very important people and items, exploration, searching and etc.
Every mission was not paid by money, but Credits, which they could use to exchange for something that could make them stronger such as Body Strengthening Serum, Dragon Blood, high grade and technologically advanced weapons, and many more.
Moreover, Hunters have many privileges such as discounts to many Hunter Association affiliated establishments and stores. And free entry to many restricted places.
Now that Reid became a Hunter, his next goal was to raise his ranking. As he has just joined, his ranking was at the lowest. Being only Stone Rank, there were few commissions he could accept. Those that do not even need venturing into the outside world and brave dangers.
Thinking of his next action as he went back home, the system echoed in his mind.

If a Hunter wanted to raise his ranking, he only needs to apply for a combat assessment and his combat power would be recalculated by completing commissions that have the exact danger level that fit the ranking. If the mission was completed, the ranking would be updated.
Back home, Reid went to shower and changed his clothes into casual wear. He browsed through the Dimensional Store while applying for an assessment at the Hunter Association website.
The next seconds, the Hunter Association Staff called him. "Good afternoon, Sir. This is from the Hunter Association. We received registration from Sir Reid Aurus for an assessment, can it be confirmed?"
"Yes. I applied for an assessment." Reid replied promptly.
"It has been confirmed. Reid Aurus. Currently Stone Rank. A newly registered Hunter. Am I correct, sir?"
"Yes, you are right."
"Well then. Your rank assessment registration has been accepted and it passed. Please accept an Iron Rank Mission on the website and complete it. If you complete it, only then we can update your ranking to Iron. Please call us again if you have any questions."
"Thank you," Reid said and hung up. He logged into the Hunter Association website and choose an Iron Rank Mission - Collecting 10 litters of Bone Marrow of Venomous Gray Porcupine.
And this mission gave him a big surprise.

After all, flying beasts have an advantage and due to their ability to soar in the sky. They were sought after by many as a ride.
But Reid doesn't have to worry about that as he has the Dimensional Store. He can buy anything there. Thinking about it, an idea came to his mind. Waiting for quests to appear and completing missions was very time-consuming. But since the Dimensional Store could give him everything with a price, then why not use it to open a business. A store where anything could be bought with a price or an Auction House where only heavenly treasures could be auctioned.
'Hmm... It might work. But I wonder if Beast Core or Energy Crystal could be exchanged with DP? After all, it is also a crystallization of energy.' Reid contemplated as he headed outside the city.
"It can be confirmed..." Reid muttered as he arrived outside the city and went deep into the Violet Sparrow Woods.
Opening the Dimensional Store, Reid browsed through the Transportation Selection. He saw all types of transportation, from a simple bicycle to a spaceship. Thinking for a moment, he exited from Transportation Selection and entered the Creature Selection. Inside, he saw all kinds of creatures from ants to mythical beasts, sentient and non-sentient. Even Pangu that one that hacked the chaos could be bought!!!
Reid couldn`t help but sigh. "So powerful...so expensive... but reasonable..."
After several minutes of browsing through the selection, Reid rubbed his tired eyes. "Why there is no search function?!"

Reid`s expression darkened and if the system only has consciousness he had already cursed it non-stop. But unfortunately, it was only a smart program to regulate the almighty power of the artifact. He does not know what is the name of the cube that he obtained, but since it has such power, then it is priceless. Although he would never ever told anyone about it, Reid cannot guarantee that no other person would know. After all, there were many kinds of abilities that could spy on his information secretly.

He took a deep breath and ordered. "Then, show me the list of Flying Beasts that existed on this world. I`ll choose one to be my mount."

Then, a long list of Flying Beasts appeared before him. After looking for a while he decided which one to buy. Reid bought a Lesser Wind Dragon at the cost of 1 million DP. A dragon was a high-level species after all.
It has a deep blue-green serpentine body covered with metal-like scales, and furry feathery wings that extended from the forehead to the tip of the tail. The head was as huge as a house with slightly arch dragon horns, while the body length reached more than a hundred meters. It was a behemoth at a glance. A Rank 9 Obsidian Level Beast and from the perspective of destructive power, it could easily destroy a country alone.
Although it only has a hint of dragon bloodline, it already has such strength. If it could further increase the concentration of Dragon Bloodline, it might grow even stronger. But how easy it was to increase the bloodline concentration? Very difficult.
