After spending another two happy days together, Cacha and Kenichi finally had to go back to Zurich to resume their normal life. Half past nine in the evening , they arrived back at their apartement building.
They went to her place first. He did not stay long, as soon as helped her to put her suitcase , he said good bye to her "Have a nice sleep. See you tomorrow" He kissed her forehead.
"You too"
Keinichi opened the door "Bye, miss you"
"Bye" She waived her hand and held his hand. She used to with him, she did not want him to go.
Keinichi smiled, he also did not want to be apart from her. He planned another kiss on her cheek before closed the door and went back to his place.
Monday was the first day of work for most of the staffs. Every one did not do much work. Most of the time, they greeted each other a happy new year and talked about their holidays.
"Charlene, what did you do ? are you going somewhere" Chris asked.
"I went to France"
"By your self ?"
"No. with my boyfriend"
Every one but one particular man were dumpfounded as they never knew she had boyfriend. However, that particular man was grinning happily. He was very thrilled that finally his woman was ready to go public with their relationship.
"Charlene, do you have boyfriend ?" another male colleague asked.
"I do"
"Is it why you don't accept the offer to extend your contract here ?" Pauline asked.
"More or less" Cacha said shyly.
Kenichi was startled. She never mentioned anything about the offer to him. He stared at her.
"What ?" she asked him confusedly.
"Come with me" He walked to a small private meeting room. He closed the door and pulled down the blind.
"Why did you tell me that they offered you to extend contract ?"
"What's for ? you asked me to come with you before they offered me. I prefer to go with you, I don't want to be here alone" She said honestly.
"Babe" He pulled her to his embrace. He could find any words that described his feeling. He was very greatfull, on the other hand, he felt little guilty, he blocked her career.
"Oniichan. It's in the office. What if they see us like this" She struggled to left his.
"Let them see. I want them to know about us"
"Three more month before we leave this place. Lets have peacefull days, ok ?" She was scared to be bullied by the females there. She knew clearly how many women had crush on him.
"Alright" He reluctantly agreed after a long pause. However, he would find a way to announce their relationship.
Later in the afternoon, when they were back from work, Kenichi went to see the receptionist at their apartement front desk.
"Hey, is there any parcel for me".
"Can I please have your name Sir ?"
"My surename is Anderson. It's from Japan"
The staff on the afternoon was a male, he searched on the piles behind him and found a packaged " Yes, sir. We have a package for you. Please sign on this sheet"
He waited until Kenichi signed before handed out the package wrapped in thick plastic cover.
"Thank you"
Keinichi dragged Cacha to his place first.
"This is for you" He showed her the package.
"What is it ?" Cacha took it and teared the cover. it was stack of books with funny characters.
"Books. from today, you have to start learning Japanese"
"Why in hurry ?"
"There is a job vacancy that suits you. It's a part time job. I have written a resume for you and applied it on you behalf"
"When did you do it ?"
"sometime last week"
Cacha was in an awe "oh no... ! what if they find out that I don't understand Japanese"
"That's why you need to learn now"
She rolled her eyes "Do I have any choice ?"
"No"
She signed. she tugged his sleeve "Sensei please, be patient when you teach me. don't yell at me, ok ?" She gave him cute puppy eyes.
He could not help but giggled when he saw how cute she was "Well, depend. If you are lazy, I'm going to punish you"
She pursed her lips "Oniichan, do you think they are willing to hire me ?"
"Why not ? Lets start our lesson after dinner.
"Ok" What else she could say.
Kenichi did as what he said. He was really keen to teach her. However, in the middle of her first lesson, his phone rang.
He checked the caller ID first, it was from his assitant in Japan "Let me take this call first"
"Sure"
"Moshi moshi "He answered the call in front of her. With her current Japenese level, She would not be able to understand his conversation.
"Sir. I saw you email about the new employee " Jun, his assistant said.
"mm. let her incharge with the project in south"
"Is she will be the project manager ?"
"No. Tetsu is still the one. She will only look after the landscape design. Send her a formal reply next week"
"Yes sir"
"Also find out all the requirement for the working visa, prepare all necessary paper work and send them all to me. She will start the role in July. Make early July. Make sure there is no mistake"
"But, the salary amount is too high for part timer" Ken said.
"Pay her as normal and deduct the different from mine"
Jun was dumpstruck "Bro, Are you serious ?"
"Do you think I am fooling around ?"
"No sir" Jun was corious about the new candidate identity but he had no gut to ask.
"Good. Send it to me ASAP" Keinichi ended the call and turned his head to Cacha. He chuckled with amusement as he saw her yawning.
He pinched her cheek "what a lazy of you"
"I am not lazt. I'm just sleepy, it's nearly 10 o'clock" she felt wronged.
He was not sure if she was really tired or just made an excuse. Anyway, it was already late so he just let her go this time "alright, I'll let you have a rest. But you have to study diligently from tomorrow on ward" He emphasized all the words after 'but'.
"I promised you" she closed her book joyfully and kissed his cheek "Good night"
He held her and made her sit again. He pointed at his lips "fee to teach you" .
She sneered "opportunist"
nonetheless she still gave him what he wanted. He smiled as he send her back to her place.
When Kenichi returned back to his place, He tidied up her books whilr mumbling to him self "I won't make same mistake. I won't let her stay to far from me".
It was a torture for him when he said good bye to her and not see her even for few hours. So, he determined to make her stayed on the same roof as him.
