Chapter 16: Into the light
"Sir! There has been an attack that matches The Beast's MO!" A man said.
"So he has finally shown himself... What happened?" Said a shadowy figure.
"It's... weird. It looks like people were drowning, stabbing and burning themselves before the suspect showed up. We tried asking what happened but the victims don't seem to remember."
"What about the person 'The Beast' was after? If it is him he would've saved the victims first and then gone after the criminals."
"It looks like he tried to escape but 'The Beast' caught up with him. He had several cuts, bruises, broken bones, one crushed knee, cracked skull and... his tongue was cut off." The man listed the injuries.
"It fits his profile. Where is that person now?"
"That's the thing, Sir. He is in a coma and has a low chance of ever waking up again."
"So the victims don't remember anything and the other person is in a coma? Tch" The shadow clicked his tongue irritated.

November 24th
Tony Stark had build finished his Mark III armor about a week ago and had already gone to Afghanistan to test it out. Today would be the day he would fight the Iron Monger and tomorrow he would come out as Iron Man.
Something interesting had happened from May to November. His relationship with Jessica improved. While they didn't start dating they became friends if not a little more. Jessica and Andrew both did not want a serious relationship and this extended to their powers as well. Andrew guessed that she was still a little traumatized from her last relationship and he didn't want to reveal his powers to anyone unless he trusted them one hundred percent.
He had also met Trish Walker one more than one occasion and while he was nice to her she seemed a little wary of him. He liked her. She was like him in his previous life. She wanted powers more than anything just like he did. The difference was that here, in the MCU, she actually had a chance to get powers unlike Andrew had in his past life and she did get them although she completely changes after getting them.
The interesting thing that happened with Jessica late into the night.
*Flashback*
Jessica and Andrew had a passionate night together once more. She laid on her side towards Andrew with a beautiful sleeping face and butt naked on his bed. She had gotten surprised once she learned he was rich but she felt she didn't have the right to say anything when she herself was hiding a secret.
Andrew was thinking back to their steaming night and how 'to improve'. He was wondering if he could somehow use [Cat's agility] and [Cheetah's speed] together and a screen popped up out of nowhere.
<Would you like to fuse [Cat's agility] and [Cheetah's speed] to obtain [Feline's Speed]?>
"What the...!" Andrew almost yelled out and woke up Jessica. He stared at the screen for a long time. 'So I guess this is what the god was talking about... d*mn him! He should have told me about something this important!' He mentally cursed the god in his mind and went back to check the screen again.
Focusing on the result of the ability fusion the information popped out.
[Feline's speed - fused from two felines this ability allows you to run at 95 mph]
Andrew thought why this didn't appear when he made the Thunder Clap move. He tried to fuse [Bat's echolocation] and [Platypus' electrolocation] and the screen appeared again.
<Would you like to fuse [Bat's echolocation] and [Platypus' electrolocation] to obtain [Sensor]?>
[Sensor - fused from sensing location abilities this power allow you to sense your surroundings in a very different way than normal]
Andrew tried to fuse the abilities from the Thunder Clap together but it didn't work. He thought that even though the abilities work well together they weren't really 'related'. He fused [Cat's agility] and [Cheetah's speed] and got [Feline's Speed]. About a week later when he was going to fuse another ability he got an unpleasant surprise.
<Error! Cannot fuse or absorb abilities two weeks after fusing!>
He also learned that he has to absorb an ability first before fusing and can only do two at a time. Meaning that if he wants to absorb an ability and fuse it to a previously acquired one it would take three weeks and if all the abilities were new it would take four weeks.
*Flashback End*

[Basilik's water running - by running in a bicycle manner on top of water one feet will be slightly submerged until the other hits the water and the cycle will continue]
[Invisibility - fused from various camouflage abilities it allows you to fully become the same color as your background]
[Reptile's regeneration - fused from various regeneration abilities from lizards you will be able to regenerate a stab wound in two days and regrow a hand in a week]

Although it did take two weeks after a fusion Andrew was satisfied with this new powerful part of his ability. Previously he would be limited to having to switch out abilities but now he could just fuse them all.
"It has Begun Sir." Pixel said.
"Finally! I'm f*cking ready!" Andrew said as his suit suddenly appeared on him and he seemingly became invisible and if anyone could see wings grew on his back as he crouched and jumped towards the sky.
When Andrew got to Stark Industries Stark and Obadiah had started fighting. He watched as Iron Monger dominated the fight until they started flying into the air. Iron Monger thought he had won until he froze and fell.
Stark landed roughly but the fight wasn't over yet. Iron Monger sneaked up on him and grabbed him. He started to squish Stark until Andrew decided to intervene.
"The mask is recording right Pixel?" Andrew asked to make sure.
"Yes, Sir," Pixel confirmed.
Andrew dived bombed right into Iron Monger's chest plate and he got thrown off the roof.
"Yo! Halloween has long passed Stark! And aren't you a little too old?" Andrew joked as he turned back to look at Stark. He stood there unmoving, Andrew guessed that he was shocked.
"WHO ARE YOU!?" Obadiah demanded to know as he flew up. Andrew also flew up and meet him in the air.
"I'm... just an adventurer. You may call me... Chimera!" Andrew yelled out his alias.
"...What, do you expect me to clap or something?" Iron Monger said stupified.
"Nah. I'm itching for a good fight! Let's go!" Andrew said as he flew forward. Iron Monger started shooting bullets that just bounced off Chimera and decided to use a rocket instead. The rocket launched and it hit him. But other than his clothes being burned and being repaired it did nothing to stop him.
Once close enough Chimera gave out three lightning-fast punches and grabbed Iron Monger's arm. He spun in the air and threw the giant tin man to the ground.
*THUD*
A crater formed around Obadiah fall. He got up and looked extremely pissed.
"You! This is between me and Tony! Don't involve yourself in matters that don't concern you!" He said launching all the missiles in his arsenal at Chimera.
'Even though that won't hurt me, the explosion will burn off all my clothes!' He said in his mind and got ready to use his special move. He hovered in the air beating his wings so fast they became blurs. Flexing his muscles he waited for the missiles to come into range and clapped his hands. The missiles stopped in the air for a second before all exploding at the same time.
*BOOOOM*
"How...?" Obadiah muttered and Stark just kept staring too shocked to even react.
Chimera dived down once again but this time he was using [Heavy stomp]. Iron Monger tried to put his arms up for defense but it was for naught as the mechanical arms were destroyed and became unusable.
Chimera flexed his arms and as quick as a bullet destroyed both of the tin man's legs.
Obadiah now laid on the ground with all his mechanical limbs destroyed. Chimera walked up to him and knocked on his head.
"You alright in there?" He asked, "Here let me help you out." He offered. Chimera grabbed the mask and ripped it out, along with the chest place and anything in the way. He held a kicking and screaming Obadiah out of the suit.
"Night night." Chimera said as an electric shock ran through his body and he electrocuted Obadiah, throwing him on the ground. "And that is how you take care of a bad guys class," he said towards a random camera.
"As for you..." Andrew said as he turned Stark.
Stark got a chill down his spine. This random winged man had just easily toyed with the guy previously beating him silly and he was planning to commit suicide by overloading the Stark Industries' arc reactor to defeat him.
"Let me help you up." The tension was released when Andrew simply helped him up. "I wanna say that I am a big fan."
"Oh... ah, Thanks...?" Stark answered confused.
"That's a pretty cool armor you got there. I am sorry to say but I going to have to take something." Andrew said.
Stark got into a defensive position ready to fight at a moment's notice.
"Hahahaha. Don't worry man, it's not from you." Andrew said jovially. He walked towards the destroyed Iron Monger's armor and ripped out the arc reactor. He had Pixel scan it for trackers or anything else.
"Well this was fun and all but I gotta go now. You can check me out on my website though. marveloustube.com and don't worry I won't reveal your identity in the video unless you reveal it first. See you around." Andrew crouched down and jumped with his wings folded. Once he reached high enough he became invisible and took off.
"Did he just steal my arc reactor in front of me...?" Stark muttered.
