Chapter 9: Li Anjing's Guide to Dark Rituals [Revised]
(WARNING: This chapter contains some pretty messed up sh*t, so if you aren't into the whole graphic violence stuff just skip this chapter, you won't miss much)
"Hi, Li Anjing here! Today, I'm going to show you how to conduct an advanced Dark Ritual, free of charge!
So the first step is to obtain the materials, and what you'll need is a live human with a reasonably strong body, water from melted ice mixed with blood in a 3:1 ratio, and a sharp object (preferably a knife, though I managed to fashion quite a nice Shiv out of the metal handle of a cooking pot) that can be used to carve pentagrams on flesh and the floor!"
Step 1: Preparation: First, minimize the chances of being caught doing the horrible deed you are about to commit by waiting until night time, when everyone is asleep and your living human is on guard duty.
Offer him his substance of choice, then pretend to hear a noise and ask him to accompany you in that direction.
Make sure the direction you lead him is pre-mediated and far away from anyone else, so that you can lay a trap to capture him and hide the evidence later.
Ideally, goad him into taking the lead, then strike him swiftly in the back of the head with rabbit punches (AKA back of the head punches).
Brain damage is okay, since the other guy has a machine gun and he probably won't live to see the repercussions anyways.
Step 2: Gather the Materials: Now that you are certain you are safe from suspicion, gather the blood water from the human material and a sharp object and prepare to conduct the ritual.
Step 3: Lab Safety: Before killing the human and invoking the name of the Dark Lord, first cut off the limbs and tongue, to prevent any mishaps.
While this is going on, check the creepy red ring on your finger for any reaction to your scientific curiosity, and breath a sigh of relief when you realize that it only seems to trigger if you commit mass murder. Also, wear safety goggles.
Step 4: The Experiment: First, carve a traditional pentagram into the forehead of the human material, then carve a second one on top of that but with four points instead.
Next, slowly sing the Song of Despair (which is like 15000 words) that you obtained in the Temple of Sin, stopping every time the song is completed to carve the next diagram on the forehead, but with one less point.
Repeat this process until you run out of points, upon which you will then begin chant the Song of Despair backwards, one time.
Once completed, use the blood water to write complicated runic characters surrounding the human material. Once finished, wait patiently.
Step 5: Check for Progress: Before continuing on to the next step, check to see that the human material is still unconscious and that your pentagrams are drawn correctly.
If you completed the steps carefully, the body should begin levitating and the blood, bones and flesh should turning into vapor.
Slowly begin to panic when you realize that the ring around your finger seems to be glowing, and that maybe cruel acts of torture may inspire Karmic Fire.
Re-evaluate your decision and justify your actions, then continue the process.
Step 6: Results: After 44 minutes, three balls of vapor of the colors red, pink, and white should be hovering in front of you. Consume these quickly, then begin cultivating.
Step 7: Cleaning Your Station: After absorbing the energy produced by the dark ritual, begin erasing the evidence by throwing limbs and tongues into the water, along with the sharp object that you used to perform the ritual.
In the midst of disposal, realize that you have completed the first layer of your cultivation technique and obtained a unique ability, then use that to much more efficiently erase the evidence.
Once done, realize that it's almost morning and that you got almost zero hours of sleep, and make your way back to the camp where you can hopefully get some rest.
Also, grab some ice to put out the Karmic Fire that suddenly appeared on your left hand.

Poached_Salmon This chapter was more to give insight into the mind of Li Anjing. Because honestly, the dude is insane (and not in a good way). If it weren't for the fact that the contract with idiot dumpling offered him the one thing he always desired and the clause stating he can't kill people, he would be fine killing someone just because they pissed him off.
