Eventually, Li Mingzhu finally made her way across the beautifully designed but stupidly big courtyard. Once she got near enough, her eyes landed on the middle figure into the trio of strangers. Immediately alarm bells went off in her mind.
[Is that Wu Xiuying!? She's one of my favorites!] Normally Li Mingzhu was a very stoic girl but anyone would fangirl about seeing one of their favorite game characters in the flesh! Especially if it was a character like Wu Xiuying.
Even though she was still young, Wu Xiuying carried herself with the noble air of a dignified woman. With her jade-white skin, long blonde hair styled in perfect ring curls, and sharp blue eyes she even makes that silly school uniform look elegant! Though Li Mingzhu didn't understand why Wu Xiuying got to have a jacket and switched her bright red scarf with a much better blue one. All in all Wu Xiuying made up the perfect image of an ice queen with her cold glares and unapproachable presence. Even her backstory of being raised as the proper young heiress to a grand fortune solidified her reputation as an ice queen.

Li Mingzhu resisted the urge to roll her eyes as she stopped in front of the trio. [Save your matching making for someone who wants it!] Now that she was finally standing in front of Wu Xiuying, she tilted her head to try to catch a glimpse at the girls behind her and what she saw made her freeze with fright.
[What the fuck they have no face! Holy shit, shit, shit what happened to their faces!?] Li Mingzhu didn't know what was worse, the fact that the two girls in front of her had no eyes or nose or the fact that they still had a mouth and a constant shadow where their eyes should be. [Wait, is it rude to stare?] It was at that moment the two faceless girls frowned and whispered to each other. Even Wu Xiuying quirked a brow at her strange behavior. [Shit it is! How am I supposed to ignore that!?]
Wu Xiuying cleared her throat and stepped forward. "I believe that introductions are in order." She said in a cold tone and held her hand out. "I'm Wu Xiuying, current vice president and I'll be your guide for today. Any questions that you have should be brought to me." Her eyes narrow. "As long as they're not ones that waste my time."
Li Mingzhu signed inwardly as she shook her hand. [I really shouldn't like her this much!] Li Mingzhu opened her mouth to introduce herself when three text boxes popped up in front of her.
A) "Hi, I'm Mingzhu. It's nice to meet you."
B) "Hey"
C) "..."
Li Mingzhu nearly jumped and cursed at her system. [Dammit System! I told you to warn me when you do that!]

As soon as she finished that thought, Li Mingzhu felt her face contort into a friendly smile against her will.
"Hi, I'm Mingzhu. It's nice to meet you." She said in a voice that sounded much sweeter than her usual one. Li Mingzhu finished her introduction by folding her hands with a sweet smile but really, she wanted to grimace as her body moved without her permission.
[This isn't disturbing or traumatic AT ALL] She snarked at her System.

While Li Mingzhu was distracted, Wu Xiuying looked past her shoulders and towards the school gates. With a small frown, she focused her attention back on Li Mingzhu.
"You didn't happen to see anyone else while walking here did you?"
Worried that she might trigger a dialogue option by trying to talk, Li Mingzhu simply shook her head. Wu Xiuying's frown deepened as she clicked her tongue in disapproval.
"First day and they're already late?" Wu Xiuying muttered to herself and Li Mingzhu couldn't help but fangirl.
[-Sigh- She's so cold but so cool!]
Just as Li Mingzhu was about to try her luck with the dialogue option, a shrill voice rang out through the courtyard.
"COME ON, YOU IDIOTS! WE'RE ALREADY LATE!"
