Chapter 8: The DANGER !...
That morning after Jack had left the house Freddy woke up awhile later. First he was still little bit sleepy. And also he realized that he was having a borner. So he didn't try to move and tried to think of something turn off. It took few minutes him to get rid of it. After he turned towards to see Jack and he was shocked!
Jack wasn't there on the bed! He was so worried. " Where is he? Is he sick again? " Freddy quickly got out of the bed and ran to find the doctor. When he got there doctor was still sleeping. Freddy shook him quickly and woke him up. Then he asked him, "where is he? what happened to him? Did something happen to him while I was sleeping? Tell me he is okay!"
After hearing this, the doctor was puzzled. He had no idea what Freddy was talking about. Actually Freddy was so fast doctor didn't get the questions clearly. Then he said to Freddy, " First calm down! take a breath and tell me what happened, slowly! "
After hearing doctor's words, he took a deep breath and explained to him what had happened. After hearing Freddy , Doctor started to laugh and then told him," Don't worry it is normal someone to get out of the bed and go for a quick walk after being in a one place so much time. After all, he's all better now.
He's probably will be in somewhere between these walls. I don't think he'll go outside in this cold weather , don't worry even if he went outside, he'll be fine. But just in case checked the CCTV records. We don't won't him to catch a cold now do we ? "
Then Freddy started to run back then he heard the doctor again. " Frederick, I have a feeling that after you noticed Jack wasn't there, you just came directly to me, so you probably have forgotten to check the bathroom. Am I right? " doctor said with a smile. After realizing that exactly what Freddy had done, he got blushed with shyness. Then he quickly ran towards the bathroom.
He knocked on the bath room door several times while calling Jack's name. After there wasn't any reply he opened the door carefully. He didn't want to Jack to feel uncomfortable with him so he didn't want to get into any awkward moments. After seeing Jack wasn't there Freddy started to worry again and then he quickly got his Tablet PC and logged in to the CCTV system.
First he searched every room in the house but after noticing Jack wasn't any of it , he started to worry even more. With a beating heart of a horse Freddy started to search the outside of the house. He searched around the house first but there wasn't any sign of Jack. As Freddy started to worry more and more, his heart rate increased simultaneously.
Then he searched through the orchard and he suddenly found him eating an apple while wandering around the orchard. Freddy was finally relieved and started to smile. He saw Jack was shaking because of the cold weather. Then he took two Parka coats from the wardrobe and wore one of it around him and save the other one for Jack. And he took the Tablet PC and started to go to the orchard.
After he arrived where he saw Jack was but he wasn't there anymore. Freddy then started to go through CCTV records again and he found out Jack was entering to the southern light house. Then he went to the light house as well. But after climbing to the top floor of the light house Jack wasn't there again! where he was supposed to be! Freddy started to watch through the windows of the light house. It didn't took that much time to find where Jack was. He was walking towards the house. Then he turned back to catch Jack on the way home but Freddy suddenly stopped when he thought he saw something.
There was a cloud of dust coming towards the same path as Jack was walking. Even if it was far away from him it had an amazing speed. After looking at it , it didn't take Freddy to that much time to recognized what it was. He knew every inch of this land very well, after all it was owned by him. He thought there should be at least twenty horses there and they all ran to the same direction. Unfortunately Jack was in their way.
Freddy threw a glance at Jack. He could clearly see that he was deep in his mind. Freddy knew that he wasn't going to notice the horses came towards him until it is too late. Freddy acted very fast. He threw the coat he was saving for Jack on the top floor of the light house and dropped the tablet PC on it. He knew that the coat he was wearing was going to slow him down so he took off it in a flash and threw it on the floor, like he did with the other coat. Now he was in his pyjamas. Then he started to climb down the stairs like a cheetah. It didn't took him even a minute to got down and to left the light house.
He knew this land very well. He spent his most of the time in there so he knew every path, every danger and every short cut like it was a part of him. He knew if he were to save Jack from this danger he had to use a short cut to get there in time.
He looked at the cloud of dust over the trees it was getting closer from metres every second of time. He acted quickly and started to run directly to where Jack was. He was very fast like a professional athlete, a runner! As he ran so did the danger.
Freddy wanted to exclaim and inform Jack about the danger but he knew with the sounds of ocean surpassing every other sound there. It was just be a waste of energy. Also the main reason Jack didn't notice the danger because of that noisy sea. So he didn't yell and used all his energy towards the running. Suddenly a branch of a tree came from nowhere.
He quickly dodged it but his pyjama shirt was tangled to it. Freddy didn't have any time to untangle that entanglement so he quickly ripped his shirt off with sounds of buttons popping away, and he ran towards the Jack. At that time he was very closed to Jack and he saw Jack was turning back as well and he also saw Jack had noticed the danger and he was closing his eyes!
The horses were like two metres away from Jack. Freddy knew it was now or never situation. He speeded up his running to the highest level and quickly ran towards the Jack. In less than a second he grabbed Jack from his waistline and dragged across the path and then he used his other hand to clinch around his head to protect his head from getting hit on the ground and jumped with him away from those horses....!!!
