Rebellion on Planet Gaia- Part 1

[3rd Person, Imperial military base]

Rolling down a metal-cased hallway was a worn wheelchair with rusted rims, carrying a young man wearing an Imperial military uniform.

The man had brown eyes and blondish light brown hair, the lower half of his left leg gone.

The man, though young, bore badges ranking him as a commander. Most who saw him quickly looked the other way, assuming that the Empire had sent another commander to monitor the planets hostile inhabitants.

The wheelchair stopped in front of the armory. "IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED" buzzed the door.

The young man rolled his eyes "Commander Jack Willow, identification number: 127486"

"IDENTIFICATION CONFIRMED"

Boxes of the latest model weaponry and combat armor were scattered across the room. The man stared intently at the boxes, and then closed his eyes. The boxes disappeared one by one. The man opened his brown eyes as they returned to their natural corrupt blue.

Behind the crippled man was a storm trooper that had been watching him. The storm trooper took a step back and yelled with panic over his communicator "AN INTRUDER, IN THE AR-" his warning was cut off as his helmet caved in, crushing his skull. "Your sacrifice is appreciated" The wheelchair turned, rolling down the hall.

[Gaia Congressional Office]

It was common to face rebellion on a planet such as Gaia, it was even common for the inhabitants to raid the armories of Imperial military bases. The difference now was... worrying.

In most cases a rebellious group would get away with a dozen or so blasters, usually less, but three of the seven military bases on the planet were robbed of everything in the armories. That was the topic of discussion for today's congress.

"It's a Jedi, it has to be" Admiral Graves stated. He had been assigned to the planet after failing to capture a rebel base on an outer rim world.

"How many munitions were stolen?" Graves asked, almost afraid of the answer.

"fifteen hundred DC-15 blaster rifles, half as many armor sets, and four hundred Z6 riot control batons. More could have been stolen, but as of now we are unsure of the numbers." Replied his subordinate.

That was just less than half of the weaponry on the planet.

A low ranking commander burst into the room "Admiral! A large group of civilians have taken up arms against the Empire, they say that they are led by Lord Dusk!"

(A/N First, I would like to say, Merry Christmas, or if you're Jewish, happy third day of Chanukah, I don't really know if any other religions celebrate around this time of year.

I know it isn't the mass release I promised, and I'm not going to try and make excuses. I procrastinated writing waaay too much for writing these chapters, I stayed up all night just to finish the three I did wright.

If you're curious about my exams I will say this. I made 100 on English and History, I made a 70 on biology and I haven't received my math grade. I got most improved in band, and biggest smart-ass in class.

Thank you for being patient with me, I will be posting regularly again after my birthday, the 27th.

The story will really pick up from here. And yes, the chapter is short, but A Retelling is long, so bleh.)
