Chapter 2: Awakening Divinity

10 Years Later

---------------

Asgard

--------

A middle-aged man was struggling against a boy with long blond hair and red eyes. It was Orion. Orion looked up from the ground. His father holding a spear and smiling at him.

"Orion my son, come show your father your power," Borr chuckled ironically, looking at Orion with mockery. Being mocked by his father, Orion decided to teach him a lesson. Orion held Ragnarok which is bigger than him. Orion looked at his father for a moment and disappeared from his previous position. Orions figure materialized behind Borr. Borr smiled and dodged easily, and as he moved away he threw his spear at Orion deflecting blud threw his spear at Orion. Looking for the incoming spear, Orion raised Ragnarok to block his father's attack. As soon as he managed to block the attack his father jumped forward and kicked Orion in the stomach. Orion hit the wall in the training grounds and coughed up some blood. Orion wiped the blood off the corner of his mouth and smiles with bloodlust.

An Hour Later of Being Beaten

----------------------------------

Orion fell to the ground breathing heavily.

"Father should take it, but take it with your son," says Orion

"You have to learn to be less proud, even though you have the power of a god." Borr snorted, looking at Orion. "Brat, go shower and then come to the palace. Your divine power awakens when you turn 10. Guarding his Ragnarok Orion gets up and heads straight to the majestic red palace. After bathing with the help of beautiful maids, he donned a black and gold outfit. Looking into the mirror satisfied he walks towards the main hall. He enters the golden hall full of runes shining in different colors. Looking deeper into the room he sees his father blabbing at his mother Bestla and his brother Odin.

"Orion go sit in the middle of the circle and focus on your soul," Borr spoke with a serious look as his son headed straight for the center of the circle. Orion then starts sending his divine energy into the circle that then began to glow very strong. He felt like was in a universe full of little lights of all colors. The gods call this place the sea of laws. These laws maintain order throughout the universe.

Orion got serious as he has to feel his laws that he choose after he was killed in his past life. Sitting cross-legged, he closed his eyes and felt two lights calling to him. One was blood-red, and the other crimson red. Looking at these laws Orion felt like a father looking at his children.

"Come."

When the two laws came into him he began to release a deep crimson aura. Borr, Bestla, and Odin are looking anxiously at Orion. When they saw Orion beginning to release his divine energy the space around Orion began to crumble and blood began to emerge out of nowhere, forming several shapes. Borr, seeing the critical situation sent his divine power like a giant sea blocking the energy of his son. Looking at his son Borr felt his laws and began to laugh as if it was the happiest day in his life. Orion began laughing too, and their laughter was heard throughout the world.

While I can change bad grammar and untranslated words, I can't change plot holes or bad story telling. While I feel this is a good story, you all could have a different opinion. I have no control over whether the story is good or bad.
