Chapter 31: Taking her home
Skye checked his watch and said " okay, I have two more classes before I go home. Wanna go to the cafeteria"
Mulan looks at him before she answered, her face was still flushed so she averted her gaze and said " Okay!" Skye looks at her as if she's an alien, is she shy? but why is her face as red as a lipstick. He carried his stuff and left the class while Mulan followed with pica, who was curled up into a ball as she sat down on Mulan's head.
The beautiful couple were walking in the halls and people watched with admiration and envy. The news about what Stella and her crew did, spread throughout the entire school like wildfire. They were not expelled but the were suspended for two weeks. The people then began wondering, just how powerful is the X family.
They walked side by side towards the cafeteria, when the entered the big and luxurious cafeteria, the people in the cafeteria, couldn't help but look at them. They've heard what happened to the girls that tried to slap Mulan and they became scared of Skye afterwards. They couldn't afford to mess with his girlfriend because they will have to pay the price for it but the thing they were even more surprised about is the fact that skye actually came to the cafeteria. Ever since Skye came to the school, he has never set foot in the cafeteria so it was quite rear to see him.
After sitting down, skye passed the Menu to Mulan but she looks at him with a puzzled look on her face as she said "Are you not going to order?"
" No. I don't really know how to use these chopsticks and I don't eat the food that someone who I don't trust cooked"
"But why?" Mulan asked as she tilted her head to the left a little. Looking really cute. Her big beautiful eyes shined like the stars.
" Because I'm kind of a clean freak and I'm also a picky eater"
Mulan listened to him before she made a perfect "O" Shape with her mouth. Mulan looks down at the Menu, she was just looking at it as she doesn't know what to order. At the hotel if she's going to eat, pica usually orders food for her. She wanted to ask pica but then she thought about choosing her own food. Skye called the waiter for her and She ended up with a salad. After she finished eating the salad she ordered a cake and a strawberry milk. Skye was busy with his phone but seeing her eating the food happily made him to smile unconsciously. He used to love drinking strawberry milk when he was a child and seeing her like this made him feel strangely happy. But ever since he started growing up, drinking strawberry milk seems to be out of his system. The smile on his face quickly Faded as he looks down, giving his full attention to his phone, when he saw Mulan raised her head up. Mulan felt someone's gaze on her, so she raised her head to see the person but she didn't see anything strange so she continued eating joyfully.
After Mulan finished her food, she went to pay the bill. She was about to bring out her credit card from her bag, when Skye beat her to it. He brought out his wallet and took out his credit card.
"Here use mine"
Mulan looks at him with a surprised and shocked face "No, I'll pay really"
" Just forget it. A gentleman is suppose to treat a lady" Skye said flashing her his deadly smile, making Mulan's face to turn beet red ,but she still cannot let him pay for her food.
" No, please. Just let me" Seeing her looking at him with puppy dog eyes as she pleaded, Skye finally gave up. He raised his hands as a sign that he surrendered. He heaved a sigh, he is a sucker for cuteness.
Seeing him surrender, Mulan smiled brightly at him, this time her smile was even brighter. Skye's ears began turning red So he averted his gaze and looked at the table in front of him like it was the most interesting thing ever.
Seeing his reaction, Mulan giggled. She knows exactly how he is feeling because she also felt it, twice. The way the heart is thumping in your chest and the warm tingling feeling you feel that spreads out throughout your whole body, and the way your face turns red. she knows it all.
After paying for the food, they went back to class. The lecture lasted for hours before they finally finished the classes for the day.
Skye and Mulan's friendship seems to be going quite well. The left the class and went outside as they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways. Skye went to the parking lot, he saw his chauffeur waiting for him so he greeted the professional looking
middle aged man before he entered the car.
The chauffeur was driving when suddenly Skye asked him to stop the car. He saw Mulan walking leisurely, not caring about what is happening around her, walking on her own. The car stopped and Skye rolled down the window to talk to Mulan.
Mulan who was walking leisurely suddenly saw a car stopped, She turned her head and saw a delux Maybach Exelero. Mulan looked at the car in awe, She hasn't been in this world for long so her behaviour wasn't strange at all.
The window rolled down revealing a deadly gorgeous man that flashed her his infamous deadly smile that always reveals those cute dimples of his. That view alone almost took mulan's breath away.
" You're not going to get a cab around this area easily So just come in, I'll take you home" Skye said with a smile and the chauffeur walked out of the car and opened the door for the still dazed Mulan as he said politely " Greetings Miss"
Mulan was still dazed but the voice of the chauffeur woke her up. She looks at Skye with her eyes full of disbelief as she said "But--"
"No buts. As your teacher, you will have to listen to me"
Mulan almost rolled her eyes at what he said but she still suppressed the urge to. Skye looks at her as if he was commanding her, leaving no space for objections, So she gave up. She thanked the chauffeur as she entered the car.
