Chapter 1: Ah, sh#t here we go again

(Actually I already wrote this novel for the contest but I accidentally didn't join so here goes nothing)

In a universe far, far away surrounded by stars and galaxies one could see a Ginormous island, so big that it could easily fit a country the size of Africa with relative ease, around the said island one could spot an uncountable number of round pitch black disks, each with a diameter of 50 meters seemingly floating and patrolling around the island as if they are ready to protect it with their very lives.

On the island around perhaps 10 kilometres from the edge there are porcelain colored walls with a height of 1 kilometre.

Within a tower amidst smaller yet similar buildings a woman was sitting there in her office reading a paper held in her delicate right hand. The woman was an otherwordly beauty that transcended the looks any mortal could hope to imagine, much less achieve, the lady had straight black hair darker than empty space, on her face lied two beautiful golden eyes that if anyone stared into they would feel their very existence sucked into them, her nose was straight and her lips were pink like sakura petals on april, her skin was smooth and had a healthy japanese native color.

As the stunning woman's eyes scanned over the words written on the paper, her face turned from wise and serene to perplexed than stupified to straight up mad to the point of biting her lower lip as if to torment it for it's divine charm, her face now looked simply demonic as if she was cursed by the heavens for having such heaven defying features, the next moment the devil incarnat- ahem, the angelic woman disappeared as if she has never been there to begin with. Within a palace on a different yet similar island to the previous one in the throne room a muscular old man with a long perfectly white beard and ponytail dressed with a futuristic white cloak, shirt, pants, shoes and even gloves with intricate red lines similar to veins or cables. The man would normally have the aura of a wise, cruel wargod but this time, said man is on his two knees and hands on the floor right in front of his majestic gold throne shivering and panting as if begging for forgiveness from a deity, which is what he's actually doing at the moment. Before the old kind of pathetic man the woman appeared with her black cloak and outfit similar to the poor elder on the floor with red lines also and glared down with a hideous face towards the terrified man and shouted with pure rage

Beautiful woman: YOU MOTHER F#CKER!!!

Unfortunately her tongue was as hideous as her current face

Old man: Waitwaitwait! Dianna! Let me expla-

Dianna: Explain, Orion

hissed Dianna

Orion: Okay, so basically after the war we as the intelligent species had against the Dowma

we thought that pretty much every single one of them were done in but we actually found a trace of Lucifer

Said Orion in one breath

Dianna: Their king? Great just great, how the hell did he survive? He blew up his very soul, essence, body, magic and even willpower! As far as I know nothing survives without any of- he cut off a bit of his soul and sent it away, didn't he?

Orion: Most likely, we found out the trace leads to a low realm, not sure what planet though...

Dianna: And that's why I have to go to said lower realm, find the planet he went to, most likely with intelligent species to possess some poor fellow, cultivate and use to wage war against us again by creating more Dowma in order to take over every universe like he wanted to, then I simply have to kill him for good. Is that about right?

Dianna's face has already gone back to normal by the time she finished her deduction.

And so with relief the old man answered but still didn't dare to lift his head for fear of reigniting her wrath once more.

Orion nodded with his face still staring at the floor

Orion:Indeed, so far you're correct but there's a catch. Thing is, there's a barrier protecting the universe. Judging by it's presence alone, unless if you or the army use everything you have it will not break.

Dianna's mood, unfortunately for orion went bad again.

Dianna: Old man, I kept fighting and completing missions for 12 years non-stop, then I got trapped in some dimension for 3 years where even with my strength back then I could barely survive the environment much less the monsters that inhabited the place and after I escape I find out that all of a sudden we are at war with a completely different race that popped outta nowhere which lasted 1 year and after a few weeks you are giving me ANOTHER MOTHER F#CKING mission!? What makes you think I won't be the one to finish Lucifer's job huh!?

Orion with clear guilt on his face answered

Orion: Child I know you deserve a lot more than this but right now you are the only one capable of taking care of this predicament.

Dianna: You just said that if someone of my level uses all their strength it'll break down right? Then why don't you just send a few people around my league and get it over with!?

Orion: It's not that easy Dianna, The moral of the people are at an all time low and they need all the help they can get, if anyone powerful leaves their side they are gonna feel insecure and afraid, they will start doubting if the war's over or not and many will become depressed, You generally don't show your face around your people and only spy on them so they wont be aware of your absence . Don't you remember what happened in your homeworld when ww3 ended? The victims of the war became so depressed that

Dianna continued

Dianna: 4.758.132 people commited suicide within 2 days

Said Dianna with a sorrowful tone and face

Orion: Exactly! You have to understand that mortals are not fragile only in body but in soul as well...The soldiers alone are already in a bad state, how much more do you think they can handle?

Orion's question shook Dianna to the core, she lived through ww3 to the end and she has seen a lot

Orion: Please Dianna! One more mission, one more mission and the army will allow you to rest for as long as you need.

Dianna:...

Orion: Please Dianna!

Dianna: Just show me the coordinates.

Sighed Dianna

Orion finally raised his head and with a peaceful face said

Orion: Thank you...

That's when Dianna thought

Ah sh#t, here we go again...
