Chapter 12: Effect of Appraisal
After Zetta walked out of the Guild Hall. Eina and Hestia are still opposite at each other as the goddess asks the former.
"Mind if I ask what level is he? he look strict and serious and irritating. Maybe, Artemis failed to check his personality?"
Hearing her, the half-elf receptionist agreed 100%.
He's very strict yes, she realized it with only a couple of hours with him together.
"I don't think so.. but Hestia-sama, Artemis-sama and her other Familia are strolling the Orario just like Zetta-kun had said.. so, I think its better for if you come at her welcoming party tonight to meet her?" Eina explained.
Hestia pouted but agrees. Thats the most effective way possible to meet Artemis as the Orario is too large for them to meet if all she could do is to blindly search for her.
Eina also told her that the place they were going to live isn't ready for now. But "You still didn't said his level.. is he level 5? or a level 6? as far as I know, her former captain is only level 3 but was a girl. So, I think he's a level 5 or above at the very least? But how is it possible to level up outsi—" Hestia didn't stop her question as Eina haven't yet to said Zetta's level.
"Level 1" Eina then muttered during Hestia's explanation..
"—de the Dungeon? Eh?" what did you? Hestia look at her in blank face and is confuse and surprised.
"Yes.. he's only a level 1" she confirmed but didn't follow the word, 'Odd'.
Yes, Zetta as a level 1 is very odd. This is the first time Eina encountered a level 1 but her hunch is his ability is beyond it, especially he uses magic which is impossible for a normal adventurer, a chant-less at that.
"No way! He doesn't look level 1 to me!" Hestia said it aloud, thus Eina agreed 100% again.
After that.. they didn't talk that much and only about the goddess of the hearth's Bell this and Bell that.

Two hours after, and Zetta is finally at the middle floor, Floor 13th.
They said, middle floors are deadly even at solo of level 3 Adventurer... as the horde of Al-Miraj and hellhound to create a Monster Party could destroy even low level type expedition Adventurers.
But...
"They're... too weak" he silently complain. It's not that he underestimated monsters inside this dungeon but the monsters at this floor are too weak to compare from Antares' deadly attack, yes a horde of Al-miraj are deadly, but not for him.
"Maybe floor 14 and down might give me a challenge"
And so he was steadily grinding towards the end of 14th floor.
Thereafter, he saw a very Odd party. A 3-man party of 3 different Familias.
'Is that possible? Even in a game, a party consists of different Guild is very rare other than the pub-party. No. In this world, every time I encounter a party of Adventurers, they're within their own Familia', he thought after noticing the three.
He wanted to bypass them but he heard a familiar voice but slighty higher pitch than the original voice he knew "Lilly, Welf!" Says by the Boy with white hair and red pupil named 'Bell Cranel', is what according to Zetta's Appraisal skill.
At the same time his ear isn't perky to compared on his acquaintance.
Hearing the voice, he reminded of someone.
"Argo.." he murmured but his Appraisal didn't change the Boy's name. He wanted to help them but watching Bell Cranel can fairly handle a bunch of Al-miraj even with the Pallum and another human was holding him back, he's still strong, fast and deadly.
Maybe stronger than Rethusa? Zetta thought so
Bell's fighting style remind him of Rumi from his past life who uses sword and dagger, each and every of his swing especially that dark knife, cuts everything in its wake. Entranced for a couple of second from its amazing weapon, Zetta shook his thought and started to move.
Like that, he didn't bother helping them as they can do on their own. And thus, as he venture towards the fifteenth floor and almost at the end of it, he found another group of Adventurer. namely Makoto, Chigusa and Ouka, and other 3 whose name he doesn't even bother to remember.. the girl named Chigusa is holding a shield and cannot fight back thanks to its weight, but still keeping watching over Ouka and Mikoto if anything to happen.
Zetta is about to join in because monsters are swarming them in every direction, but— "The Epitome of a real man is to protect his own Familia! Chigusa, switch! Give me my shield, you're the attacker now! we paved our way out of this!" stated by the big guy named, Ouka.
What a passionate people this world has. Is what Zetta remarks before coming down to the 16th floor.
There, he was challenged by multiple minotaurs and big monsters such as standing tall rhinoceros-like monster. But a challenge didn't a challenge for him after all, yes it was hard, for anyone that is, but he wanted to exceed his limit. And so he travelled through 17th to 18th floor.
17th floor is only consists of one room. According to Adventurer he passes by, the Monster Rex Goliath here will soon emerged. Thats why, those who came here needs to be extra more careful.
At 18th floor, he found a camp near the entrance. "So this is what they called an expedition" as he saw many people doing their own. He then noticed a flag of a Joker "Loki Familia", he muttered and walked off towards the exit of the 18th floor through 19th floor.
while doing so, he subconsciously look above the ceiling and open his mouth wide in amazement and mutters "to think such floor exists" as if he arrived in another world for the third time. . .
after exiting and at the staircase, he saw a man with a small physique; blonde short hair

A pallum using long spear standing beyond the exit. Along with other mix adventurer ranging from level 2 to 3..
'A Bus..' Zetta muttered.
Assuming this little Pallum is helping others to level up.
As if Noticing him after checking his information and walking out from 18th floor, Finn looked and asks politely. "I'd never seen or heard an Adventurer like you inside the Orario. mind if I ask where you from?".
Of course, as Zetta's current Avatar of Black hair and silver glinted eyes, anyone can identify him as 'Handsome' and is an eye catching.
Finn should know his alias or affiliation atleast once or twice.
And if he's a high class adventurer, Finn will surely know who he was. Especially if he is always on a lower floor, soloing.
This little one is a sharp one. As Zetta thought and answered at the same time. "I'm from Artemis Familia and was live at Orario as of today"
Finn narrowed his eye, "Goddess Artemis? I heard hers is an All Girls Familia.. if you're joking, please refrain from doing so..." but his eyes grew big after realize something, "wait, as of today? Don't you mean.. this is the first time you entered this dungeon and you already came here at 18th, no.. at 19th floor? are you with your familia?" Finn asks and look around 'and at fast rate too??' and simultaneously thought so.
Of course, an Advisor factors an Adventurer's survival and safety each time an Adventurer went towards the dungeon.. there's no way a newbie like him came here that fast for the first time with his familia. But Zetta bought a map from the guild created by Loki Familia's expedition themselves, so he arrived her faster than the newbie adventurer.
'wait! he went towards here at 19th floor by himself....!?'
"Don't tell me.. you're all alone?!" as Finn at the same time accidentally raised his voice and lose his composure after such thought.
Others who knew how composed Finn is, were surprised of his current attitude.
"Is something the matter, Finn?" asks by an Elf called Riveria Ljos Alf and also a level 6 according to Zetta's Appraisal after hearing his voice.
"Mind if I ask what you did?" at the same time, Riveria asks Zetta.. hearing her, he unconsciously stepped back thanks to her current demeanor.
Unlike Antares' intimidation. Hers is holy to compare.
No, Zetta didn't knew this time, but because Riveria'a aura is a high ranking aura of an elf. a High-elf and factors her overflowing magic power.
Finn at the same time clasp his hand and gather the others and command them to immediate return to their camp.. He then look at him.. until finally, Zetta is now alone with Finn Deimne and Riveria Ljos Alf. Two of the executive and strongest of Loki Familia.
Chapter 13: Versus The Brave, Finn Diemne
Finn and Riveria. The two executives of Loki Familia are now in from of Zetta, facing opposite of him. if it was someone. They'll get fainted before they even spit a single word.
"How come you're still alive even before coming here?" Finn asks in agitation as he concluded that Zetta isn't an Orario Adventurer.
Afterall, theres no way he's level is above level 4.. He doesn't even have some nickname...
But Zetta's ear tickled at the same time "is that... how you talk to your co-adventurer?" Hearing him, Finn snap back to reality and find himself in dazed.
while Reviria at the same time, "Finn" look at the little pallum with a bit worry.
"No..I mean.. I'm very sorry" Finn swept his face and apologize. 'My blood boils just looking at him.. but why did I get angry? no, this is not anger, my blood really boils. . .'
He then move towards Zetta "May you answer some of my questions if I may?" and then step out from the 19th floor. "But follow me first, please..."
. . .At the cliff where one could see the whole 18th floor by turning yourself 180 degree. Finn spun his spear and thump it on the ground.
"This is more convincing than questioning you.. this is the battle between two brave warriors and a Familia isn't at stake, So you don't have to worry. Alright then, [in the name of Fianna, I Finn the Brave, challenged you into a friendly duel..] will you accept?"
Hearing his speech. Zetta unsheathe his sword and return back the speech with sneer "I, Zetta Exe Deus am Half-Barbarian, descendant of Barbarian, Krom. accepted the Braver, Finn's friendly challenge", knowing him having a Barbarian blood, Riveria and Finn was more amazed
Inside the Dungeon, a Barbarian is a monster. But only because they've been poisoned and mutated.
As a full blood Barbarian, One has to drink their Ancestor's blood, their Champion, Krom to become a fully pledge Barbarian.
But because their productivity isn't as fast and cell isn't as thick as human. Even if they use other races as catalysts, it is difficult for their race to propagate.
Because after they intake their Champions blood even though Barbarian blood is still running through their veins, even as a half-barbarian, Krom's Blood become a poison to them. And thus thats the story depicts. Well, the story of Valiant Barbarian has been long since dead even before the emergeance of many Heroic Tales..
Those who knew them are the one who witnessed their glory. Of course, Riveria and Finn heard a story or two about them. . .
And so time passes by and the Barbarian are now become a monsters that destroys whoever they feel an enemy is. In the end, they've been trapped inside the dungeon as a Monster. a Barbarian monster. as for Zetta to become such one, who knows?
Shing—
Zetta pointed his sword forward.
Zoooom— Zooom—
At the same time, Finn swings his spear, ready at any given moment
Riveria at the same time is at the center-side and swing her hand downward, thus the battle started.
Finn already whispers that he wanted to test the waters against Zetta before coming here, so does Zetta, and Riveria as a referee agrees.
As for why Finn did that even though he's not kind of a barbaric person or a battle maniac, his warrior blood, boils after looking towards the single man. Riveria sighs of this battle junkie in the guise of pallum. . .
CLANG CLANG CLANG——
So their clash started, and at the same time. . .
"hm?" not far away from the battle. A certain elf's ear twitched and look from above as they're walking from the staircase towards the upfront battle.
"Is something the matter? Lefiya?" Asks by an Amazon with flat ironed chest.. Tiona
A girl with yellow longed hair and eye, Ais; and a another amazon with big chest, Tione; at the same time heard a faint sound of clashing, "That was captain's spear of sound!!" Tione bellow as she sniff with her nose and run towards the said area. The remaining three didn't have the choice but to follow.
This four is originally going towards the area where Zetta and Finn are battling, for a sole reason to watch this beautiful scenery of 18th floor. . .
CLANG CLANG CLANG——!
The battle still continues—
Zetta huffed as he avoided Finn's attack by hairs breathe and counters with vertical slash and jumped back thereafter, after the spearhead passes through his side.
Putting his thumb into his forehead, Zetta then muttered <Borrowed Power or Heracles>!
Seeing this scene, Finn smirked. He copied the former and chanted "Magic spear, penetrate my forehead offering blood..."
"Eh!?"
"Did captain use..!?"
"Is he serious?!"
Ais, Tione and Tiona remarks the moment they arrived and at the same time Finn said his last word "...Hell Finegas!" his eyes turned glimmer red thereafter and with his blonde hair, flatters upward.
At the same time, Zetta created red but faint smoke sorrounding his body.
Four girls moved towards Riveria, amazed of the scene infront.
"Riveria-san.. did you know that man?!" Lefiya asks.
"All we know is.. he's from Artemis Familia that lived here at Orario as of today" as their Nanny said and turned serious..
SHING—! KWANG—!
The battle are still on going and Lifeya throw another question, "Artemis Familia. their fame spreaded towards Orario as they venturing outside and valianty destroying any monsters nest wherever they go but... isn't their Familia are consists of only girls?"
CLANG— BVOOM—
Riveria shielded them as debris scattered, and talked "yes.. is what we believe. But that guy confirmed himself, he's not just from Artemis' Familia but he's also its captain"
Before coming to this area, Zetta and this other two of Loki Familia already introduced themselves and talk about other things, so Riveria answered the elf. . .
CLANG CLANG TONG——!
Riveria followed after watching this spectacle "I advised you girls. Of what you witness. Never ever tell of what you see, what you hear and what you know--to anyone even in our Familia."
At the battlefield. Finn is almost and always, seconds away from tearing Zetta's body apart but all of the time, the latter is either accelerated or teleported in or away or from the side of the said pallum. Finn at the same time cannot read the former battle pattern as he either attack, defend or teleport at any direction.
"You're strong. So this is the reason why my blood boils!" Finn sneer. Noticing it. All the girls shivered except Riveria as she saw this comrade's face every now and then especially when they were at an emerging process of the Loki Familia until today.
'That guy.. he's an irregular.. much stronger than...' she thought after watching Zetta's every move, and look at Ais.. and remember the girl named Revis.
"He... did he not chant? is he using chantless too?!" Tiona remembered a certain rabbit like human which are still fresh into their mind after watching this stunts of Zetta's maneuverability—Of how Argonaut-kun beautifully kill a minotaur during level 1. and has a triple S rank at his Falna. Tiona then compares a man infront of him to Bell. . .
"Yes.. but not only one of them.. I estimated them to be atleast more than 3 chantless skills." Ais then answered.
"N-no.. way!?" Lefiya mouth shocked.. first is the rabbit human that sticking into her crush, Ais.
And now this guy who's as strong as Finn. But a chantless magic of more than 3? thats too much!
"He's not that fast to compare from the captain but—" Ais said so while clenching her fists.
"—he's using burst of acceleration or a teleportation just to close the gap of captain's speed" Tione finish her sisters speech.
"He's.. Strong"
"Strong"
"So strong"
"So... Fast!"
Tiona, Tione, Ais and Lefiya muttered at the same time as their voices are in sync.

!—huff huff huff..
I. . .can't breath. . .but. . this exhiliration is what made me alive..
I moved my body as if it was synchronized with my brain and move itself without any delay. So this is what they called 'entranced'
Although our strength isn't on par, our agility is almost on par--using my skills to close the gap, though.
But our life and death battle experience isn't that close as I was only a virtual gamer. No matter how many times I teleported anywhere from his blindspot. all I slice is either an empty air or his spear longer than his height.
I know why, for how many chances I did is all but notch.. my intent reaches him of every swing of my sword. Though, we decided for friendly battle, it was a friendly battle to death.
Every time I attack him is an attack intent to kill. and all of them, have been blocked or avoided. That is why I was to be defeated here.
To hell about who won or who loss! I can't let myself be defeated here!
Simultaneously, my <Borrowed Power of Heracles> are no more. His buff called <Hell Finegas> are gone.
Our bouts are about to conclude. and Yes.. It was my defeat as I was pushed back and now hammered through the ground and coughed up in blue light particles.
Did they saw that? I wish they didn't. I was defeated in the end as his spear was now pointing at my forehead.
My body cannot move anymore. I need to store my stamina but I'm afraid I cannot as their eyes multipled. There are now another three or four girls at the side of Riveria.
But I don't want to appraise them. I now know.. those level above me, they feel my Appraisal when using against them. so I restrained myself from doing so. For now.. at least. . .
