Chapter 47: The Round Scar..
"Do you have any problem?" Samer asked while looking at her.
Ira just shook her head and replied "I will do it.."
That's ok! It's not far from here. So I can come here and look after him after finishing all my site work.
"Mr Yadav will take you on the site and will explain your work there. You may go now." Samer said casually without any emotions.
Ira looked at his expressionless face. It was always like this. Whenever he would look at Tina, he was always smiling as if she meant the whole world to him. And whenever I used to go and have a small talk with him, he was always so rude and cold as if I tried to harm his beloved ones. Oh yes! That's what he always thought..
Mr Yadav took Ira on site where the construction of shopping mall was going. The site was really big and almost all the eight floors had been completed. About eighty percent of structural work was completed and architectural work was undergoing.
Mr Yadav explained her duties on site and introduce her with other employees. There were only men employees on site.
As I expected, I am really someone special for him!!
When Mr Yadav left, Ira was all by herself. She tried to have small talks with other employees. Fortunately all were free and frank. And after sometime, Ira didn't feel alone at all. It was just a little weird and nothing!
It was about 2 pm, and Samer started feeling hungry. He used to eat at company's canteen daily together with other officials. But today he knew that Ira had brought lunch box for him. From the day he married to her, his appetite has been increased than what it had been since last two years.
She was not around him and he always felt restless. He had lost his appetite. He started drinking and smoking with a hope to forget her. But instead he used to miss her even more badly after getting drunk. Grandfather Moon and Tina were the only ones who cared for him and stayed by his side when he needed Ira the most. It was Tina who helped him with his rehab and took care of each and everything concerning to him.
Even Samer didn't understand why didn't he fall for Tina and instead fell for Ira after all these things happened.
With rehab, his health started to improve and he had finally succeeded in controlling his urge to drink and smoke. He got himself busy in company to distract himself and lost interest in every other things. Even he always forgot eating. Only when Grandfather Moon was there, he used to eat and fill his stomach forcefully.
But now, he realized that his appetite has been increased and he even sometimes craved for eating.
He opened his lunch box and started eating alone inside his office. As expected the taste was on par and he finished everything within fifteen minutes.
Ira has been cooking for both of them from the very first day of her marriage. Just by looking at the thin profile of Samer she could tell that he had not been taking care of his diet after the death of Tina.
So she was trying her best to make delicious and tasty food for both Grandfather Moon and Samer so that they could eat full. Not only that she saw positive results from this. That made her happy and she decided to send lunch box for him during office hours also so that he will eat whenever he wants to.
After spending some time on site, Mr Yadav came to fetch Ira. Ira was done with today's work and she left with him.
When she reached office, she prepared schedule plan of all the activities to be carried on site for that month based on her observations.
After done with her work, she reported everything to Samer. It was hectic day for her but all was worth it.
All the female employees in the office could leave by 7 pm and since Ira's work was completed, she too left.
Samer kept looking at the schedule plan made by Ira. He didn't expect Ira to be so proficient in her work. She not only carried out site work properly but also managed to make plans on software programs.
He had seen other female employees started complaining when given any site work. But Ira didn't object and did her work at its best.
When Ira reached Moon Mansion, she went to see if Grandfather Moon was doing fine or not. His fever had been already subsided and he looked much better.
After taking a quick shower, she prepared dinner.
It was 9 pm when she heard the familiar noise of engine.
After Samer got fresh, all of them had their dinner.
Grandfather Moon and Samer started discussing about their business, while Ira went inside the bedroom.
She changed into some loose and comfortable night suit, and stood in front of the windows to see the beautiful view of the garden of Moon Mansion.
When Samer entered into his room, Ira was still standing looking outside the window. Room light was falling on her brightening her skin. Her loose dress showed much of her chest area.
Suddenly a strong gush of wind entered through the window due to which the frame which was placed on the sill fell on the floor. Ira bent on her knees and started to pick the broken pieces of frame with her bare hands.
She was not attentive when the neck of her dress loosened up little showing the insides of her chest.
Samer's ears turned red as soon as he saw her cleavage.
But suddenly his line of sight fell on a round scar which was on the left side of her chest. It was not dark but wasn't too light to be noticed.
