Chapter 2: Chapter Two.

MAXIMUS

They weren't wrong either. I liked the thin, small, blonde boy that I do not remember the name. I like the feeling he gives me as he smiles for me. I'm sure this is just a small crush, small crushes won't hurt.

We continued chatting and eating, getting to know the thin boy since he's new to the group. Turns out he likes drawing, writing, studying, reading and a lot of other things I don't find any interest in. He's a typical nerd with a great sense of humor, I suppose. Not many nerds are funny and this one is an exception.

"So you're a total nerd, Sebastian?" Aidan, one of my friends, jokingly asked, giving in thin boy's name, making me remember it.

He chuckles, "You could say that. I'm also an awesome person to be with, nerd is just one word to describe me." He continues, being so sure of himself.

As lunch was over, Sebastian and I still have one last class together and we all went to our different classes, leaving me with Sebastian.

Luckily, our last class professor wasn't there, so we had the time to chat.

"Finally, a break." Sebastian sighs, stretching his back on the chair.

"Nerds get tired of studying?" I looked at him at the corner of my eye.

I sighted him nodding, "Of course. Studying is just like a job, the only downfall is students don't get paid but get pressured as hell."

"So, Max," He starts off, "I haven't heard your surname all day. The day is almost over, in fact, I still don't know you." He stares at me with his sparkling blue eyes, resting his chin on his left hand.

I still didn't want to give it in, so I came up with my second name being my last name. "Gray."

He snorted, "Gray? As in, that bdsm movie everyone liked?"

I shook my head, "No, Gray as in the color."

He nodded his head, "Maximus Gray. That is such a rich ass kid's name. You must be a multimillionaire."

Lying, I shook my head, "No, my parents just like really pretty names." Smiling, I asked him, "What about you? Got any second names or anything?"

"Chase." Sebastian smiles at me, giving me his second name which by the way, gave me a tingling feeling. He has such a strong second name. "I'm a bit embarassed by it. It really isn't something I tell anyone."

"You must be kidding? Chase is such a nice name." I sighed, "I'm going to call you Chase from now on. I will be the only one calling you that."

His face turned different shades of red which made him a lot cuter, giving his best scoff, trying to avoid eye contact.

"Look at me Chase," I say, having a hint of serious in my tone, "Chase is such a nice name. I would exchange Maximus for Chase anytime."

I have a sudden guilt feeling, he's being completely true to me about himself and I'm just lying to him about my surname. If he really wants to be friends, he'd be okay right? He'd treat me like any other normal guy. Not some highly, sophisticated, rich guy.

"Chase, I have to tell you something." I start off as I bit my lower lip. He nods of response, "Gray isn't my surname."

He broke eye contact, smiling at the floor, "I know."

He knows? What? He knows what?

"Know what?" I ask in confusion.

"You are Maximus Gray Campbell, the school owner's son." He looked at me, smiling, "I thought you were going to keep lying to me."

I kept my mouth open to protest, to at least defend my side but no words came out, "It isn't so hard to search for social media accounts, you gave your first name which by the way, is not very common." He continues.

"You were also on many billboards, I knew I remember you somewhere I just couldn't figure it out until I saw some uploaded photos on social media, saying you are the next youngest multimillionaire." He trailed, giving me his best proud look.

"I'm sorry I lied, Chase." I started, "I just didn't want you to think that I'm that high for you not to treat me like any other normal guy."

He scoffed and gave me a smirk, "Why would I think that? I'm pretty damn cool myself, I don't need to treat you that way."

Brushing the topic off, he asks a question, "Why a suit?"

I was a bit taken aback by the sudden question, "You could've worn a sweater or a T-shirt, jeans, or anything. Why a suit? That kinda gave in your social standing."

I felt my face heating up, he's really observant, who knows what else he had observed, "I feel clean wearing these kind of decent clothes."

"It'll be dirty once I remove them all." I hear Sebastian as he muttered those words that made me heat up more from embarrassment and blushing. Did he really just say that?

Seems to me he was also shocked at what he said. Is he what I think he is?
