Chapter 40: The killer, His Downfall
Valentino saw Sassy still in the same spot after dealing with Mr. Shawn last night.
He assumed Sassy didn't taken any sleep at all and it's not good for her. So he think it's time already to give his presence to her.
"You replaced Air's company already my Goddess, Happy birthday"
Sassy then made different move from being still in her spot which made her face Valentino from behind.
With her face full of happiness and also sadness? She spoke...
"That was great, thanks Brother"
"Aren't you going to ask me how did you replaced him?" Valentino started hugging her already as he can clearly sense that Sassy wasn't fully happy.
Sassy didn't respond so he just continued...
"Well Vince and I took revenge for you, we intentionally drag him down. We're not going to do that anymore at first but Air were so ruthless with you. Taking him down isn't actually enough...but we think your baby needs father"
Sassy then cut the hug and realized...
Yes she was glad knowing they just let him fall down and not kill him. But the last sentence? Wasn't part of her plans anymore.
"No, I'm enough already. I won't let my baby know him, Brother..." then her tears finally flowed from her eyes. Valentino hugged her again.
Then Sassy spoke between her tears...
"Mark my word"
At the other side of the world...Air had finally recieved the big bad news about his downfall.
It made him then show up his true color and pour his madness to someone he was seeking to kill all his life!
"NOOO!" Dana stopped Air from killing Mr. Sanchez. But it's too late now that Air killed him with his gun already.
"Uncle!!" Dana cried when she saw her loving uncle bleeding in the cold floor.
"Mr. Sanchez, happy now? Coz I'm happy, I never thought that it would be the happiest day of my life. Kill the one who killed my Mom." he spoke as if he's crazy.
But not, he wasn't crazy at all. Because it's clear Mr. Sanchez is the one who killed his Mom and it's been several years had passed already that he waited to do the same, kill him.
"W-what are you saying babe??" Dana tried herself to ask.
"What? Your Uncle is a killer! You're too innocent or are you just acting?" an idea then came into his mind.
He wasn't sure, wasn't sure if Dana was just being used up by this old man or was just acting all this time?
Dana then got alarmed and stop holding her uncle and think of her self that she got an idea to betray her Uncle saying...
"No I'm innocent! Uncle just used me, Babe, I don't know all about this!" then she hugged Air tightly.
Air's mind then changed and find her innocent. No wonder he had known Dana since he was just a kid, Dana was fully innocent all this time. So Mr. Sanchez just used her all this time as a conclusion.
He then hugged her back and spoke smoothly...
"Sshh, how dare he used my Dana, he deserved what I did" he comforted her. Killing Mr. Sanchez at her front must be a trauma for her.
I'm sorry Uncle but I have to live, I need Air, I loved him more than anything...
Well He had just known the bad news about his downfall last night after the scene of him with Sassy and Gio.
He didn't sleep all night after he had sent Dana back in her apartment.
Then in the morning he decided to go to Dana again and fortunately He spotted Mr. Sanchez who's just about to leave from visiting Dana for something he's not aware with.
"let's leave this place now babe, my men will take care of it already"
Dana then nodded and there, she was saved in the end tsk!
Lunch time At the S & T Shipping Company...
Vince guided Donita to familiarized the company, he didn't leave her side though this day supposed to be the start of his filming being the leading man in Philippine Drama? he called his manager to postpone it right away, just to be with Donita at her first day of being the CEO.
"Let's eat lunch in your Restaurant, Sweetheart, my treat" Vince finally shifted his talk to something personal from business talks. Oh It's PDA time!
He put his hands at her waist and smiled like there's no tomorrow, he was just so sweet!
Is he crazy? No he wasn't. But he was so serious just lately and now? He's so sweet again! And my legs were even getting jelly already.
Well Vince know how to manage everything, what she just experienced this day? That was a management of his Business to personal things! Just imagine having a boyfriend like him!
"What do you think, Sweetheart? I'm waiting for your answer" Vince asked. Donita then came back with her senses saying...
"Ahm let's go, I m-missed my restaurant, hehe" she responded feeling so much butterflies in her stomach "kinikilig" (filipino term for having butterflies inside your stomach)
Vince then didn't let go of her waist, they walked together intimately not minding those employees who's gossiping.
When her phone suddenly vibrated, someone messaged her!
Vince stopped their walk and asked "do you wanna read that message first, Sweetheart?"
Donita hurriedly answered "No, ah let's go first in the restaurant, that message must be just from my brother, I can just check them later on"
Afternoon that day, Sassy finally finished fixing her things already. She has 1 hour left before her flight at 6pm by the way.
All her baggages were fixed inside Valentino's car already when Gio arrived looking rushed going in Timenez's Mansion

"Sassy!" Gio spoke with his rushing breath.
He run towards her and was about to tell her something already when she suddenly spoke first...
"Gio, about your answer. You don't have to answer me anymore..."
Knowing that your Dad will never agree going with me and leave him again. I have caused a lot of bad things to you already Gio...
She wanted to tell him that but she decided not to, also not tell him that her memories are back already, that she remembered him again. As she doesn't want him to be a part of her complicated life already.
"Sassy...I'm sorry-"
"No, don't say sorry...thanks for the last night, I'm just a stranger yet you did hurt your own bestfriend just to save me..."
Yes from the start when she got her second life? They were really strangers to each other, when her memories weren't yet back. And also Gio didn't recognize her from the start.
He had just confirmed that she was the Sassy he'd been longing for, at his Resort in La Union. He didn't meet her in Air's wedding also, coz he got an emergency calls that time.
Sassy patted his shoulder and smiled...
"Thank you again Gio, maybe we can be friends when I'm back again"
Then she got inside Valentino's car already.
Without any responds, Gio just watched the car disappear in his sight already.
Same as what Sassy's thinking, Gio's answer to her question is a No. Why? Well he knew already that his Dad might not agree.
Even though his Dad told her to marry her. He wasn't like to take advantage with what happened. As Mr. Madrigal just known Sassy as Ms. Dana. And if he knew already that she was Sassy? He will not let her enter Gio's life anymore.
This time he will obey his Dad already. Even though it will cause him a lot of sadness of not being with his first love.
"I will then wait for you Sassy..."
