Chapter 3: I Have A Brother
"So I am a witch and a princess, but what did he mean about me being in danger? I should have asked." I said. A bell rang out above.
It was dark and cold I went down to the main hall and into the dining hall, I sat at the far end away from everyone else.
When the waiters came out and served the food they saw me at the far side of the table and walked over there to give me my dinner. I saw Ayden grab his food and come sit next to me.
"Hi, are you okay," he asked me
"Leave me alone," I said,
"Gesh what's your problem," Ayden said I got up with my food and went to my room. When I got there I put down the food and yelled out. Then I remembered Jayden and that I had not told him what was going on I got on my bed and started to cry.
[-----------IN A DIFFERENT ROOM-----------]
"What did you do to her Ayden!" Leon screamed
"Nothing! she must be in a bad mood." I yelled,
Leon brushed his hands threw his curly black hair I stared into his light blue eyes
"Well then what did you tell her," Hazel said,
"I told her the truth," I said Hazel's long blond hair was tied back in a ponytail her storm gray eyes gazed into mine. While my short blond hair and dark gray eyes stared at her.
"Well at least about her being a witch and having ancient royal blood I didn't tell her about why she was in danger," I said
"Good, it would have scared her to death knowing that," Cassie said Leon, Hazel, and I all looked at her
"When did you get here?" Leon asked
"Just now," she replied,
"So what are we going to do about her brother wanting to kill her and stuff?" Hazel asked,
"Well since he knew where she was we had to move her to a safe place, but if he finds out where she is now where will we have to move her," I said,
"I mean we can't hide this forever." "We'll have to until she is ready," Cassie said.
[-------OUTSIDE THE DOOR-------]
I had snuck up to listen to the others, but when they walked out the door I followed them until they got their rooms I headed back to my room I sat on the bed I have a brother and he wants to kill me. Why? Just then I heard a knock on the door
"Come in," I said then Ayden came in and asked me
"How are you doing?" He asked,
"Oh fine except for the part about me being a witch and a princess and my brother wanting to kill me," I said Ayden just stared at me
"H-how did you know?" Ayden asked,
"I snuck in and listened to you and the others," I answered He groaned
"You weren't supposed to hear that," Ayden said.
"I have just three questions.
Who is my brother?
And how did I not know about him?
And why does he want to kill me?" I asked
"The first answer he is your younger brother.
The second answer you didn't know about him because he was born and then your mother and father got divorced you went with your mother shortly after the divorce your mother died and you were adopted by a lovely couple the rest of that you know.Your brother was given to your father and he grew up with him. Just a few days ago your father died.
Last answer after your father's death your brother was denied access to the throne when he heard about you he was furious and he wanted the throne so bad he set out to kill you so he could claim the throne. How he found out where you were we have no idea because he left before we knew." Ayden explained,
"Let me think about this," I said and with that Ayden left.
