Chapter 3: Sweet But Immobile Confessions
Everyone has a way to express themselves. I express straight-forwardly whatever I feel. Sometimes people get hurt while trying to express themselves, but some expressions can move a heart. I have seen many people who expressed their entire feelings in front of me, but they were all immobile, means they did not make my heart move. But this time my dearest friend expressed his feelings for me. So will that be able to move my immobile heart?
Though hesitatingly, I can't hurt a person's heart permanently for temporary happiness. I decided to reply truthfully, "Kevin...."
"I know, though I shared my feelings completely, without beating around the bush you will reject me because you don't want to hurt me and also you want to protect yourself. But it took me a long time to confess my feelings to you. I won't sit back but will try every method to impress you and make your heart move. It's not that easy to move a person's heart, it may take time, but I'll give my everything to win it. Anyways I'm also coming home in a month, so always be on foot. You can't escape from my proposals at any cost", he expressed. He took out a box from his pocket and kept it in my hand saying, "I have full confidence that you will accept me someday, so keep this with you and wear it whenever you are ready to come to me."
After he left I opened the box to see what's inside it. To my surprise its a diamond ring. Many people think I'm a materialistic person and try to impress me by giving me expensive gifts, but they are not aware that nothing can move my heart that easily.
Oh, God... How can you leave me in a situation like this? Show some pity towards me. Though I take every aspect of my life challenging, why have you dropped me in this kind of challenge, where I can't win or lose.
The night went shady, after saying goodbyes to my mates, I left for my room. Soon after, I left for the airport to catch my flight.
[In flight, Morning]
"Tin Tin Tintinan Tin Tin Tintintan Tintinan Tin Tin", rings my crazy frog alarm disturbing all my co-passengers.
Oh god...!! I think, from yesterday you have decided to check my capability and patience levels by giving all these kind of hardships in my life. What an embarrassment!!
"Sorry! Sorry! I forgot to keep my phone silent."
Ahh, that was a long journey until I reached home. I'm almost tired of everything that I faced in the past two days.
[Back to present, At the apartment]
Finally, I completed unpacking all my things. One bag of gifts is left, I'm going to open it tomorrow and give everyone their gifts. And now finally its time to sleep because I'm tired to death today.

"Tin Tin Tintinan Tin Tin Tintintan Tintinan Tin Tin", rings my alarm. Its six in the morning and I need to go for a jog. Oh, I hate exercising the most, but I can't help because I need to maintain my shape. It would be too good if I don't gain weight whenever I eat a lot and don't exercise.
After forty-five minutes of a jog, I went to take a shower. I need to get ready as it's my first day today. Hope grandpa spares me this week so that I can join the company from next week. I just wore casual attire because I have not yet decided to go or not. And finally, after a hell lot of time for getting ready, its time to leave for home. Aaah I'm very much lazy to leave but if I don't do my breakfast with grandpa today, he will surely tell me to get back home.
As soon as I go into the parking lot, someone came and gave me Espresso, and when I started walking towards my car, some other one came and gave me a bunch of pink roses. I like roses but not the most. My favorite flower is the other one that no one knows. Roses are my second preference. After I started driving towards home, at a signal, someone else tapped my window handing me a box. When I opened the box, there are chocolates with a small note saying, "Have a great day my love. -Kevin"
Aww what a nice start, but I'm totally disappointed by me. The thing I hate the most in this world is playing with someone's heart. I'm just feeling the worst. Kevin is giving these sweet confessions and gifts. If there was someone else instead of me, she would have accepted him by now. Though these confessions are sweet, they are immobile. Means they are not making my heart move. The reason I couldn't accept Kevin is that my heart doesn't race for him. My heart never raced for anyone till now. It might be strange but it's true.
I finally reached home by taking everyone's gifts.
"Everyone's at dining mam!!", the maid informed. As soon as I reached the dining, I saw everyone waiting for me.
Grandpa is like, about to burst volcano. "As you are late, I thought you are not going to come. I was about to send James to get your bags from the apartment."
"Haa!!Haa!! I know. If you don't think that, I would doubt if you are really my grandpa." I replied. Everyone bursts into laughter.
"Shutup you fool!! Come and eat", he shouted. Now everyone became silent. "If you are requesting me this much, why not. Your REQUEST is my command, grandpa." Again everyone starts laughing.
After a while, grandpa," Come to my office as soon as you finish it", saying he left. As soon as I finished, I took the gift I bought for grandpa and went into his office.
"Grandpa I'm coming in" saying, I went into the room. He is sitting in his chair and I ran to him and hugged him. "I missed you a lot grandpa!", saying that I gave him his gift and sat on the handle of that chair.
"Here is your gift. Open it, grandpa!! Fast!! Fast!! Faster!!" I'm screaming when he is opening the gift. "What did my darling get me this time?", grandpa asked me.
As soon as he saw the gift, tears were rolling in his eyes. It is the painting of grandpa and grandma. I took the photo of the photo which grandpa has in his wallet. That secret is only between me and grandpa.
"From where did you get this photo devil?"
"Two years before, when I was going back to foreign again, because of that problem, you asked me to get your wallet to see if you have the name card of that person. I saw it then. I got to know your whole story when I read the diary which you always safeguarded."
"I'm really sorry Arry for keeping this as a secret from you all", grandpa apologized.
"Grandpa I know why you have done it. So no objections. I always loved you and will always love you old man!!", saying I escape.
"Oooollddddd maaaan!!! Come here, you come here first. Wait till I catch you", saying he started running after me.
"Naaaa nana naaaa na!! You can never catch me, old man. You have become old, just take rest."
"Stop right there. Stop. Stop". He stopped running and started breathing heavily. I got scared and went near him. He caught my ears and started pulling them.
"Oooowww!!Ouch!Ouch. Sorry sorry, handsome man please leave me. I will never call you again like that young man. Please spare me." Saying I keep a puppy face, he melts and leaves me. " I'm never going to call you Old man again, Old man", screaming I ran out of the room.
"Stop right there. Stop. HAHAHA. She always makes me feel young but calls me old. I really missed my naughty devil. If that wouldn't have happened, I would have kept you by my side. Though it's not your mistake, I sent you away. Because of someone you had to face unusual problems."
I immediately came out of the room or else that old man would have killed me by this time. I see mom and aunt talking in the hallway.
"Hey, mom!! I missed you a lot... I missed you too aunty... and I missed your morning coffee the most. I didn't find that taste anywhere else for seven years." saying this I hugged them.
"I missed you a lot sweetheart. Muah. Muah." Mom started kissing and crying.
"Don't cry, mom. See what I got you people. Hope you love them." saying, I gave the gifts I got them. "Mom, where are dad and uncle? I bought them gifts too."
Mom and aunty are very much happy because I got the goods from top designers. I'm also happy to see them happy.
"Aachuu..", rings my phone. Don't see me weirdly, it's my message tone. Grandpa sent me a message saying that I need to go to the company from Monday. But its already Friday, this is not fair grandpa. I thought he will let me rest at least for a month. I know!! I know!! I only said a week before, but I'm too lazy to start.
"Dad and uncle are in the game room playing snooker." says my mom.
"Arry at least you can tell them. They only listen to you. Day and night they keep on playing- playing. Snooker if not, Golf if not, they will go for a shooting. If all these are done, they both sit and start drinking. The doctor said to avoid drinks for your uncle, but he doesn't listen to me. Please tell him to stop drinking." complains my aunt.
I know my family is a bit weird, but they are all I have.
[On the way to gameroom]
Rob's room is in the way, so I thought of giving him his gift. I bought him a customized handmade necktie and cufflinks. I knocked at his door, but no response. So I left his gift at the door and left for the game room.
"Knock-knock", knocking the door I went inside.
