I woke up grumbling to my self, anytime I dream about him my mom appears from nowhere to wake me up. I got up to prepare for school thinking about Tate its been years since I saw him. he moved out of our neighborhood without any notice. I was heartbroken but I decided to reason with him. I left for school feeling a little bit gloomy. ever since Tate left I became a reserved kid unlike my usual bubbly self, I went to the class room to prepare for the day, if nothing else at least I loved learning. my friend Amanda whom we all call Mandy for short came in squealing I knew something was up but I just smiled downwardly, I know she will only talk at will the grabbed my shoulder and she said to me while shaking me "guess who is our new history teacher" I looked at her confusingly and said how can I am not on the school board. the she laughed and said its Mrs Smith, I was still confused what Mrs Smith I asked and she tugged at my sweater and said Tate"s mom. that was it I just blacked out!
