Chapter 87: 86 ◇◇Tara◇◇
As we follow behind she is indeed taking her time going. I want to ride fast and hold her in my arms but I know I can't.
When night falls and Robert stops us for the night we sit and talk.
"Ax, I can feel the power that you have. It is really strong. Can you show me what you can do?"
"Dad can I use you for a second." Ax asked.
"Sure, However Tara whisper what you want me to do so you know I am not faking it." Adam said.
I whisper into Ax's ear. "Make him sing a child's song."
I see Ax close his eyes then Adam starts to sing "~When the night time comes, the moon will sing, my baby boy will drift off to sleep. ~When the night time comes, the stars will shine, my baby girl dream of peace. ~So babies of mine sleep away, till the sun will shine and the night fades away.~"
"How was that?" Ax asked.
"Good but can you make me do something." I asked.
I see him close his eyes then I suddenly stood up turned around and sat back down. I felt the power he used on me.
"Very good. Laevigatae can you show me your power?" I asked.
"Here" he handed me my bag that my father and mother gave me with my heart stone in it.
"How?" I asked puzzled.
"I can distract you and take what ever you have. I used it a lot to steal what we needed when we were children. I don't use it much now. Only when Ax needs me to use it. I can also use telepathy but not as good as my sister. Only me and Ax are linked." he said.
"Adam what was your power again?"
"I am an amplifier. I can amplify a pusher to be more powerful. I was born to be my sisters amplifier but I can also amplify Ax's powers." he said.
"Can you amplify any other power?" I ask.
"Don't know. Never tried."
I tried to think of a way to test this out. Then it hit me. "Use your power on Lae and let Lae try and talk to me."
"Ok, are you alright with that son?" Adam asked Lae.
Lae walked over and sat in front of Adam and Adam wrapped his arms around Lae.
'Can you hear me now?'
"Yes, I heard you." I said.
"I heard you too." Robert said.
"Me too." Ax said.
"Then I think Adam can amplify anyones power. We need to keep him safe." I say. "Robert what is your power."
"Powers don't usually work on me. Telepathy is one that does but I have never heard Lae before. Just Mabel, Cindy, and Daisy. I have a way of making people and animals calm down. I bring peace to them. I can tell by smell and taste what is in anything eatable. Mabel says I have more but I don't really know what they are."
I now know what my group offers but how do I beat my brother. I hoped we had a few days to figure it out because I was not giving up my flower.
I think back. I am a chameleon. My power bring life and death. This has always been my power given to me by my father. The curse my brother gave me was unstable aura. I can't control my powers when it is like that and I lose control.
Everything is coming back now. I see my brother, mother, and father. I have many brother and sisters. All have been given powers and all come back to this land when reborn. All the men here are my brothers. They have been in my life from the beginning.
Lae is Hermes, a shifter sprite. He is sometime female and sometimes male but always is with Ax who is Kratos, a punisher. He has the power to bring justice to the weak humans father placed on this earth.
Adam is Eros, a cupid, he heals hearts and helps those in need. Even growing up he used rabbits to help others find there true loves and to heal their hearts. One way he can help is to amplify their powers. He was always with...
My mind races and a cold sweat hit me.
"Are you alright?" Adam asked when he sees me go pale.
"You are Thanatos the god of death, That is why no powers work on you. You are our older brother." I say.
"That is a name I have not heard in a long time. Tara, listen to me. I am the god of peaceful death. My sprites take the spirits to the cross roads. They always wear red. They will help you decide which road to go. Be born again or be punished by our brother Hades. Father sent me to help you but I could not tell you who I was. I did not remember until you said my name."
The group looked shocked so I explained everything I remembered about each of them. It soon was dark and we needed to sleep.
"Thanks brother for remembering me. I could not remember who I was till you did. It is nice to remember my family now. Adam has been my love for all my life times and I would not want it any other way." Robert said as he put out the fire and went to bed.
I lay there thinking of all my lifetimes with my flower Lily, Rose, Daffodil, Pansy, Briar, Dahlia, Holly, Iris, Ivy, Magnolia, Poppy Leilani, Flora, Linnea, Romy, Amaryllis, Zinnia, and Daisy. This was just a few. There was many more lifetimes to remember. All was happy but sad. We belonged to each other.
I then drifted off to sleep dreaming of my love. We were by the great waterfall near the ocean.
"~Lily my love, father said it is our turn to be a mortal human. ~For us to marry and have children.~"
