Chapter 73: 72 ♡♡Daisy♡♡
My name is Daisy and I was born in a brothel. My mother had no motherly love for my brother Laevigatae and me so he was the one that rasied me. When I was 12 we ran away because my mother wanted me to start working in the brothel like she did and my brother would not let that happen.
When we ran away Commander Tenninax found us and took us in to live in Grey Castle this countrys prison. My brother and the Commander fell in love and got married.
I have the power to read auras and life string. But my greatest power is how I communicated by telepathy. I am a mute and have never been able to speak any other way.
I lived in Grey Castle untill after my 16th brithday when I started training with the Oracle on how to use these powers and so I could help King Henry when needed with foreign visitors.
I loved this new life. King Henry is able to talk to me back and forth so I also pretend I am deaf.
"Daisy the King wants to see you." a guard said.
'I'll be right there.' I say grabbing my note book made just for me.
I opened it to the page [You wanted to see me?]
'Daisy, I don't trust this man.' Henry thought to me.
He wrote down on a pad [This is Duke Godfrey of Ellendore. What is his aura?]
'Orange with lots of black streaks. There is also a dark haze around him. It scares me a little.'
I then opened my book to Orange.
"What does that mean?" The Duke asked.
'deceit and distrust with evil intentions ' I say to Henry but pointed to
[Trusting]
"Good so then do we have a deal. This weapon I have is worth a million jewels easily." he said.
"I would like to see it first before making this decision." Henry said.
"Bring him in." the Duke order one of his men.
I watch as a young man is dragged in. He has a strange gage in his mouth. He has the most beautiful Aura I have ever seen. It was rainbow colors that moved in a wave.
"This is a siren. His voice can bring down any army." Duke Godfrey said.
"He is but a boy. Why is is gagged?" King Henry said.
'Can you hear me are you alright?' I said to him.
'Yes, how can we talk like this?' He asked.
'I am a telepath. Are you alright?'
'No, I'm hungry they won't let me eat. They kidnapped me from my home in the mountains.'
'We will help you what is your power?'
'My singing can bring a man to his death. That is why I live alone and speak to no one.'
'Henry, we must save him. They kidnapped him and are staving him.' I tell him.
'Don't worry I'll will.'
"Duke Godfrey you bring him here and try to sell him to me. Why?"
"Who else should have this power but the King and I need something for my trouble of capturing him."
"This Kingdom and country have rules all man must live by. My father and his father and his father followed these rules. All men were created by the creator to be looked after. No man is a slave to another. You are selling another man as if he is property. This is a crime. Guards take these men to the dungeon till they can be sentenced to Grey Castle." King Henry said.
"It's Okay boy," He untied him and took the gage out of his mouth. "What is your name?"
'Tell him my name is Justin'
'Henry his name is Justin'
"Justin. A fine name. I almost thought you were a girl but can see you are a boy. How old are you?'
'I am small but I am a man of 22 years'
'He is 22 years old Henry'
"22 I thought 16 sorry. Daisy can you show him to a room since you can speak to him."
'Yes... follow me Justin'
I took him up the stairs and placed him in the room next to mine.
'I'll have my Papa Robert make you some food. Rest till then' I tell him. The colors change around him and are over whelming me.
'Wait, what is your name again and how old are you?'
'I am Daisy, like the flower and I will be 19 in a few months.'
I head to the kitchen to find my two Papa's sitting drinking tea.
"Daisy, who was our evil guest?" Adam asked.
'Duke Godfrey of Ellendore. He was trying to sell a man to the King.'
"That is pure evil. Is the man alright now?" Adam asked.
'Not sure, Papa Robert can you make him a meal. He said they would not feed him.'
"Yes, I have some stew left from lunch and fresh baked bread. Give me a moment to heat it up." Robert said.
I sit and listen to them talk. They are the fathers of my brother-in-law Ax and they took me in as family. When the food was done I took the tray up to Justin's room.
I notice he found clean cloths and had taken a bath. I should of told him about these things. But the colors are over whelming still and I have a hard time thinking.
I will need to ask Lillian about controlling this.
'Here is some food. I will come get you later for dinner.' I tell him.
'Thank you Daisy.'
I run down the stairs and into the garden.
Lillian was trimming the rose bushes.
'Lillian I need your help'
"Slow down, what is the problem?" Lillian said.
'His aura is strange. It is every color like a rainbow and it moves around him. How is this possible?'
"I don't know but We will find out. I need us to go see Mabel."
We walk a ways till we reach a small hill with a stone at the top of it. There sat a young woman in her mid 20's.
"Hello dears, I've been expecting you. Dasiy I believe this is the first time we have met. I really enjoyed talking to your brother Laevigatae."
