After Ax left my room I went to tuck Daisy in. He had given me a lot to think about.
'Are you alright Lae' Daisy asked.
"Yes, I am just tired. Not use to laying around all day."
'I think that lady did something. I don't like her.'
"It's alright. Ax will take care of you always. He promised. Want a story?"
'Yes, please.'
"Ok, once upon a time there was a princess named Daisy. She lived in a beautiful castle high up in the clouds. She was loved by so many but was very lonely. One day a magical bear named Lae came and asked if he could be her friend. She was happy and they played many games together.
One day an evil dragon came to capture the princess and take her away. Lae could not protect her because he was just a small magical bear.
Just when all hope was gone a brave knight named Ax came along and captured the dragon. He placed the dragon in a magical prison so it could never hurt any princesses again.
As Princess Daisy grew up she no longer need the magical bear so he transformed into a stuffed bear to sit on her bed. To remind her she is always loved. And the Knight Ax watched out over her for the rest of his life.

When Daisy was fast asleep I leave her room. Ax is sitting at his desk writing. I hobble over to bathing room to get cleaned up but realize I don't have my night shirt.
"Ax?"
"Yes."
"Can you get my night cloths from my room so I can get cleaned up?"
"Yes" He closed the book he had and walked to my room. It took little time and he was back with my things.
"Thank you." I said.
"No need to thank me. Need any help?"
"No, I got it from here. I can't get in the tub it will wash off the medicine but I can wash myself up."
"If you need anything call for me."
I quickly washed myself and changed into my night shirt. I then come out. Ax is sitting on the couch reading a book.
I walk over and sit down. He places the book beside him.
"I've been thinking about what you said. If I promise to be with you will you always take care of my sister?"
"Laevigatae my little rose, I will always take care of your sister no matter what. I do not want you to be with me for this. I want you with me because you want that to. Take your time and really think about it."
"Ok, I am really confused right now."
He takes my hands in his and my heart beats fast. I look up into his eyes. I see something I have never seen before and it scares me a little. He then lightly kissed me and got up.
"Get some sleep. We can talk later about this." he said.
I get up. My foot is hurting again so I limp more. I then feel him pick me up and carry me to my room. He kissed me once more before he left me there on the bed.
I touch my lips it felt good. What was this feeling?
I toss and turn all night. Just as I was falling to sleep Daisy wakes me for breakfast. I have dark circles under my eyes as I eat.
'Are you sick?' Daisy asked.
"No, my foot hurt so I did not sleep well. The healer will be here this morning to treat it don't worry."
"Should we stay with you today?" Ax asked.
"No, Daisy wants to shop so take her. After the healer leaves I am going to get some sleep."
After breakfast while Daisy was taking the dishes back to the kitchen. The healer came. He told me to stay off the foot and keep it elevated unless going to relieve my self.
He put some more ointment on it and wrapped it back up.
Just as he was leaving Jillian came in and my blood ran cold.
"Ax, can you help me to my room?" I say wanting to get far away from this woman.
"Sure" He picked me up and carried me.
"I really don't like her." I whisper.
"I'll talk to her. She will no longer bother you or your sister. I promise." He said smiling.
When he sits me on the bed he once again kisses me. I feel warm all over with this action. I smile and he heads out.
I lay here a little while and think. It would not be bad to be loved and cared for by him.
I soon fall asleep. I dream of a wonderful place filled with light. A beautiful woman is walking along.
"Hello Laevigatae" she says.
"Hello"
She laughed, "Bet you never thought you would meet me, did you?"
"Who are you?" I ask.
"I am known by many names. But you can call me Mabel." she smiles.
"How do you know me?"
I know everyone and everything. For almost 100 years I was the Oracle of this world. Now I'm just a busy body that likes to look around."
"Are you the Great Oracle Mabel?"
"I don't know about great but that is me." she says.
"You don't look over a hundred?"
She laughs again. Well I am thousands of years old child. I look how ever I want." She shifted to an old lady then to a child then back to the younger woman.
"Why are you in my dreams?" I asked.
"There is great danger ahead and only you can save Tenninax. Listen closely and remember."
'When the Sun hides it's self in the day.
A friend will betray a friend I say.
Death will knock but only once.
Be smart and think don't be a dunce.
To save your heart you must try.
To use your gift of being sly.'
"It's time to wake my child. Your sister and heart are home."
I sit up in bed. Was that a dream? What did that weird poem mean anyway.
