Chapter 45: A shot rang out

It takes me a while to walk the long way to town but I avoid running into any guards.
I make my way to my Aunts door and she pulls me in with tears of joy. I explain what is going on and all I know so far.
She fills me in that everyone who apposed the New King is sitting in an encampment for prisoners of the crown. They will all be executed in two days time.
She shows me on a map where it is located.
I then rest and travel there in my mind. There are only a few guards, that means most of the gaurds are in Brytana. I walk in and find men tied up all over the place. Things here are not right. I find my Uncle and he looks well but he is black and blue from a beating.
'My love can you hear me?'
'Yes, Are you alright?'
'I am, there is an encampment north of the city near a mountain pass. There are only 10 men here guarding. You can over take them easily. I found my Uncle here and I think Carl's Uncle at least this man looks a lot like Carl.'
'Ok, get some rest we will be there at first light.'
I go back to my body and sleep. This day had taken a lot out of me.

My fairy was the best. She not only came up with a plan but also with a way to keep herself safe.
We made our way to the area she said and found the encampment. She was right not many were here. Only four gaurds at the main gate.
We took shifts sleeping so we would be fresh for tomorrows attack.
'Wake up my love it's time'
I heard my fairy's voice. We followed her instructions and got in with little problem. We tied up the guards and while two men started to set the prisoners free O'Connor, my other man, and I went to get the other six guards by suprise.
It did not take long before the whole place was under our control. Out of the ten gaurds six were loyal to Me and swore to fight by my side.
I now had fifty men to follow me.
'Micheal where to now?' My fairy asked.
'To the Castle. When we get my Uncle under arrest then the rest will fall.'
'Ok, I'll head there now.'

I head to Michael's Castle and again not many guards. They really must all be in Brytana waiting on the ship to come in.
I let Micheal know and then take a break for him to arrive. My energy is getting low.
I find some fruit and a glass of wine by the bed side table and assume my Aunt left it. I take one sip and know it has been drugged.
What do I do now. I know I had not taken enough to cause deadly harm to me but I know it's enough I won't be able to help Micheal.
I get up and go into the front room. "Why?"
"They said if I did not give you the wine they would kill my child."
"Your husband was saved, but now that I no longer can travel he may not be saved for long. I can not believe you would betray me."
My Aunt just broke down in tears. I go back to my room and open the box. There is only one piece of paper in there and written on it is:
Close your eyes and see
The place you need to be
Repeat this rhyme
And in no time
transported there by me.
It did not make since but I had to trust Mabel.
I thought of the vision of the Moore and knew that is were I had to go. I then repeated the rhyme when I opened my eyes up I was on the Moor.
I could hear dogs in the distance. 'Micheal can you hear me?'
'Yes my love we are almost to the Castle.'
'Something went wrong and I had to come to the Moor for real. I can hear the dogs'
'Get out of there' I hear him yell.
I know I can not escape this. I must stay calm. I can hear the sounds of dogs again. So I look around. I see no one at this time. I can hear the dogs coming closer.
Then I see the Duke appears before me. He is panicked. Running from something I can not tell.
He glares at me as he gets near and I could feel his murderous spirit once again.
"Who are you?" he asked.
"I am the Queen of Brytana wife of King Micheal O'Malley and All seeing Oracle of Pawā Nation. Daughter of King Maximum."
"I am the oldest son, I deserve to be king." he says. "This land belongs to me not that ungrateful bastard of my brother."
I look up to see Micheal running and a few dozen men coming towards me. Then I see the Duke grin and my blood runs cold.
I then see Ann Marie and Juliet running to the Duke's side.
Ann Marie speaks, "What have you done to my masters book? Where have you hidden it?"
"It is in a safe place no one will ever find it." I say.
"This was to be all mine and you ruined it. You have to die." Juliet says
Then a shot rings. I look down but see no blood pouring from her chest. I look around and see Ann Marie slumping to the ground.
Micheal's men capture the other two and he grabs hold of me. He wraps his arms around me I can no longer breath.
"How?" I ask.
"I recognize the man that shot you and sent his family to stop him. I just hoped it would work." He said.
He picked me up and carried me back to the Castle.
It took very little time to capture all of the Dukes men and place them in cells. Then everyone took a breath of fresh air for the battle was not done yet.
