Chapter 43: 'Stand and Dance'

As she tells me of the vision change my mind is relieved that we are finally on the right path but my heart is still uneasy.
I feel she is not telling me the whole truth.
We arrive in my homeland tomorrow. I have to be watchful so she does not get hurt.
I go and talk to O'Connor and tell him of my fear.
"You think she still gets shot and would not tell you?" He asked.
"I have that feeling. I wish I knew how I had those visions so I can see for myself."
"I have a better plan. You know my Uncle George O'Connor runs the armor shop in Windsor. He made Ann Marie a thick leather breast plate that will not be noticed when under a loose dress like Cindy wears. It will slow down a bullet so it does little damage."
"Will he help us or be loyal to his daughter?" I ask.
"He is Loyal to the crown I believe."
I take the idea to my fairy.
"What is the name of this man?" She asked.
"George O'Connor" I tell her.
"His name was one that is crossed off. I do not know what that means but my Uncle was circled. Just be careful talking to him."
She then pulls me over to a chair and I sit down and she snuggled into my arms.
"My love, when this is all over and If something should happen to one of us. Promise me you will still be the best King you can be. Protect those who need it."
"There was more to your vision?" I had to ask.
She laid her head on my chest and was silent.
"Cindy O'Malley, my fairy queen, do not lie or keep things from me. Only you are all powerful so I rely on you to be truthful."
She looks up at me. Her eyes are filled with tears. "I still die by the hands of an unknown shot. I do not know who kills me."
"Can you travel to that place and time?" I ask.
"No the future is not yet written. The path can still change. If it changed while I was there then I would never be able to return there for it is forbidden."
"Then let me in the vision once more this time I will look around. I can not change anything but maybe I can see something that will help."
She kiss me and gets off my lap. She then pulls me to the bed and lays next to me taking my hand.
"Relax and let your mind flow, think of the moor and the vision of what is to come."
Her voice is soothing as I feel my body and mind floating.
I am on the moor once more. I could hear the sounds of dogs. So I look around. My men are with me but I see no one else at this time. Not my Uncle or my fairy.
I walk to the area I know they will be and I take a good look around.
I see them and I walk over to her so I can hear what they are saying. I still keep my eyes open searching for who has the gun.
I can hear the dogs coming closer. Then I see my Uncle appears before us. He is panicked.
He glared at us and I could feel his murderous spirit. 'Why have you done this? I am the oldest son I deserve to be king.' he says. 'This land belongs to me not the ungrateful bastard of my brother.'
Then seeing my Uncle grin, my blood runs cold. I look he knows something we do not.
I then see Ann Marie and Juliet running to the Duke's side.
Ann Marie speaks, "What have you done to my masters book? Where have you.hidden it?"
"It is in a safe place no one will ever find it." Cindy says.
"This was to be all mine and you ruined it. You have to die." Juliet says
Then a shot rings. I see the man. I do not know his name but I have seen him in the Castle. I look down and see blood pouring from her chest. She still died but the world is no longer under my Uncle's rule.
My men capture the three as I hold her and I tells her to hang on that I do not want to lose her.
She smiles at me and say, "I'm sorry I can not give you the child you want. I love you."
This is were I should wake up but I did not I walk over to were the shot came from. The man is there but one of the hounds have him pinned down.
"Why?" I ask.
"The Witch must die. The Witch must die."
"She was your Queen was it worth losing your life."
"I did not mean to shoot the Queen, the Witch is the one that should die."
He did not mean to kill Cindy it was Ann Marie he was aiming at.
"Why must she die?"
"She killed everyone loyal to you. Even her own father. She is nothing but pure evil."
I know now what the marks are that Cindy saw were about. I closed my eyes to go back.

I wait while my love is in the vision. I just hope that he will except my fate.
As I wait I look through one of my books.
One of the gifts that the creator gave us was Telepathy. I once used this to talk to my mother when I was in the womb. I used it to talk to my father in a dream.
I clear my mind, 'Carl please come find me?'
I wait to see if it works. It was very little time before he knocked on the door.
"My lady, did you call for me?" he asked.
I smiled and said, "In a way yes. I am practicing some of my powers. I was told I have more then just the power of the Oracle. I just used my mind to call you here."
"Is my King alright?"
"He is in a vision right now. This will not disturb him. Please have a seat." As he sits down I use my mind to push. 'Stand and dance.' Nothing happens. I try again, 'Stand and dance.'
My mother and Ax make this look easy but I have never tried this power before.
I then take a deep breath and one more time I scream in my mind, 'STAND AND DANCE'
Carl stands and starts dancing, "What is this witch craft?" he says.
I then think 'stop' and he stops and backs up to the wall.
"I just commanded you to dance. It is my Mothers power. I had to test if I could also do it. I am not as powerful as she is so I am not sure if this will help. I just want to be prepared." I tell him.
He walks back over to sit. "Just warn me next time my Queen."
