Chapter 14: Magical Bunny [Max]
I dress for the day and stop at Elizabeth room. I slowly push open the door to find her asleep in Adams arms.
I feel the green eye monster tearing at me. I know they are brother and sister and Adam loves his husband but it should be me next to her.
I storm down to my study and call the captain of the gaurds.
"Who drugged me last night?" I ask.
"Saundra did. We have her under guard in her living quarters."
"Bring her to me. Wait first fetch her father here. Then bring her here." She was going to pay for this.
I work for another hour before Sir Poe Saundra's father comes in.
"My boy what can I do for my son-in-law." He says taking a seat.
I stare at him as the gaurds bring Saundra down.
"Daddy." She runs to her father.
"What is all this about?" Sir Poe asked in confusion.
"Your daughter is going to be charged for attacking the crown." I say.
"Daddy, I didn't." She yells.
"This is serious, tell me what is going on."
"Last night I was drugged, stripped, and rapped. When I could clear my head a little , I call for the guards to capture the person. The royal healers spend most of the night getting the drugs out of my system. Then this morning the guards tell me it was this bitch who attacked me." They both could see the furry in my face.
"Saundra what were you thinking?" Sir Poe asked.
"Daddy it's not like that. I only wanted to please him last night and when he turned me away I only used a little to get him in the mood."
Her father stared at her.
"We are getting married soon and he is going to be my husband so I thought..."
I slam my hand down on the desk, "There will be no wedding. You have a choice. Live by sailing overseas and never returning to this land or be executed for crimes against the crown. The choice is yours."
"No, I love you. I want to be your queen. Why are you doing this is it because of this slut Elizabeth you called out for?"
"Never say her name again. Even though I love her, I was still willing to marry you but after last night you can no longer be worthy to lead the women of this land as their leader. So make your choice."
"Father help!" Saundra was now cring.
"I'll send her away. I am sorry we spoiled her. Please forgive me for what my daughter has done."
"No!!! Daddy I won't leave. I'll be good I'll never do it again. Please don't turn me away. I love you."
"Gaurds, excort them home and stay with her till she is on the ship. Also let all harbors know, if she comes back to this land she will be executed."
I watch as Saundra and her father leave. A weight lifted off of me now. I am now a free man to go after the woman I love. The woman the Oracle said I should be with.

I felt safe, arms were wrapped around me as I opened my eyes.
I watched my brother sleep for a few minutes. He is a very handsome man. I could see my mothers eyes and my fathers strong chin. Now I know why he looked familiar to me.
Soon his eyes opened and his huge smile shone across his face. "Morning Dear Sister."
"Thank you dear little brother." I got up. my chest was still hurt as I made my way to the bathroom. I washed my face and brush my hair.
Adam had already changed into fresh cloths that Robert brought. The food he brought was heavenly and I ate like there was no tommarow.
"I need to check on the staff and check in with Max. Robert will stay with you." Adam said kissing the top of her head.
"Thank you brother." I smiled, I loved the fact I found family.
"How are you feeling today?" Robert asked.
"Sore. So tell me dear brother-in-law what is my brother like." I ask.
He laughed, "You brother is crazy."
"Do tell, I'm all ears."
"I met this kid chasing a rabbit in the woods. It was a sight...

"Here bunny bunny. Come to daddy."
A 18 year old Adam is chasing a little black bunny through the woods.
20 year old Robert carrying firewood stops to see this strange boy.
Robert had been alone in his little area of the woods for a few years now. Not many people ever stumble upon his family's cottage.
He stayed back watching the boy and laughed when he caught it.
"Good job kid." Robert said.
Adam jumped and cradling the bunny in his hand and turned around.
"You scarred me, I almost lost my baby." Adam turned the bunny on his back and scratched his belly.
"What are you going to make with the rabbit? You could come back with me and I could make you stew." Robert pointed in the direction of his cottage.
"Eat my bunny baby. No way. My bunny wunny is my best pal. Aren't you baby."
Robert cocked his eyebrows in puzzlement. "Fine... if you would like fish stew your welcome to follow me. By the way my name is Robert."
"Thanks, if you promise not to eat my baby then I will agree. My name is Adam."
"Ok follow me." Robert started walking towards the cottage.
Adam ran back to his horse and lead him in the direction. When he came upon the lovely cottage he pulled the rabbit bag over his shoulder and stuffed the bunny in.
He knocked on the door. "Come on in." Robert yelled.
The cottage was roomier on the inside then it looked on the out side. Adam had to duck to walk through the door but once in he had plenty of room to stand straight and tall. It was neat and clean with comfortable furniture. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of pots and pans. Herbs of all kind were hanging from the ceiling.
"Nice place, where's your wife?" Adam asked.
"Not married. It's just me here." Robert mix a few ingredient in a big pot and started it to cooking.
"Come have a seat." Robert pointed to the couch. "So a pet bunny?"
Adam walked over and sat down, he pulled the bunny out of the bag and sat it on the floor. "I found him injured. I was going to kill him then he looked at me with those pouting eyes. His fur was so soft and shinning I just could not do it. So I took him to my friend the Oracle and she healed him. I was told the bunny would help me find my true love."
"A magical bunny. hmmm." Robert said.
