Chapter 13: Rape of a leader [Beth]
I see the ones I love dead at my feet. The grief and anger surrounds me. With everything I have, my mind lashes out as I scream. With a flash of bright light everything is gone. I am alone in a bright white world with no sound.
'Child are you all right?'
Where was that voice coming from. Then a red figure floats to me.
'Child please tell me are you all right?'
"Yes, I think... where am I?" I ask.
'You are neither here or there. This place is the cross over between world.'
"Am I dead?"
'Yes and no my child. This is the place for choices. You can choose A or B.'
"I don't understand?"
'A you can choose to go back and help your fellow man kind with the gifts you were given. or... B join you parents in the after life.'
"I can see my parents again?" This thought brought me joy.
'Yes, the choice is your.'
I pause everything comes with a price I learned that lessons many times.
"What's the catch?"
'Smart child. If you choose A you will save your world but must give up the man you love forever. If you choose B you doom everyone living to pain and suffering for the next 30 years when the next child with your powers comes of age.'
"So that's not much of a choice is it. Why is there so much suffering for me?"
'Child this is just how it is.'
"Is there no other way but these two?"
'As I said you are a smart child. There is another choices but this choices you must make on your own I can not speak of this choice to you.'
"One question, If I go back how do I use my power to bring peace?"
'A very smart child, you and your brother must join together. He will amplify your powers so no one can disobey your word. Even if the forces are far they will obey and walk into the prison you chose. Only the two working as one can do this.'
"Last one, What happens to me after I save the world?"
'That I can't tell you. Just know you will be loved by many for your whole life.'
"Ok, my mother and father would not want me to run away anymore. I'll save the world I promise."
'Good now take a breath and wake up I'll let you remember our talk'
I take a deep breath and start to feel cold. Pain hits me in my chest and I make a noise. Soon I feel someone pick me up and lay me on a soft cloud. I take a few more painful breath and I feel hands checking my body.
I open my eyes and see an elderly woman looking me over.
"Your awake; how do you feel?" She asked.
"My chest hurts and it hard to breath."
"Well your lucky... you have a broken rib that will take time heal."
"How is that lucky?" I ask.
"You were dead and Adam saved your life." She said.
I look over at Adam and smile, "Thank you."
"Hey, I just found you. I can't loose you again." He laughed at me.
"She needs to rest. Someone should stay with her tonight. Call me if anything happens. I have wrapped her ribs back in place so no removing the cloth till I say so."
"I'll stay with her." Max said.
"No, I want Adam to stay." I need to give Max up to save the world.
"Me?" Adam says.
"Please, I need you right now. I need my brother."
Adam turned to Max and Robert.
"Stay with her. I'll make her some nourishing breakfast in the morning." Robert says walking to Adam and kissed him good night.
"No... I can stay." Max said.
"Adam please?" I beg
"Max go get some rest. She's my sister after all." Adam said.
With his head hung Max walked out.
"So Big Sis, what happened." Adam asked closing the broken door.
So I told him of my dream and the visit from the red ghost.
"What do you think the third choice was?" He asked.
"I have no idea. Will you help me?" I ask.
He crawled into bed and pulled me close. "I once told you if I had powers I would help save everyone. Seem like know I do and I would help you everyday."
It does not take long to fall back to sleep this time and I was glad that this time there were no dreams good or bad.

I was so scared, then relief hit me the moment she took a breath.
Why did she reject me? Why did she choose Adam over Me?
I walked to my room to find the door open. Sitting on the table is a glass of whiskey. I down the drink and slump into my chair.
Why... why... why... does she push me away. I told her that I love her. I told her I could protect her. Why?
I felt a wave of dizziness come over me. What is going on. I feel someone leading me to my bed and helping out of the cloths.
"Elizabeth your here." I say.
"Yes, Take me"
I climbed into bed and she straddles me. This is everything I always wanted. This girl drives me insane.
Her body is so smooth and her breast are large... This is not his girl... who was this riding him moaning his name.
I push and fling this beast off and yell for my gaurds.
"Sir?" I hear a man say.
"There is a monster in here trying to seduce me, find her and lock her up. Send me the healer I've been drugged." I cover my self and held my head.
When the healer comes she had me drink a lot of water then take a few pills to get the drug out of my system.
By morning I could see and think again. I was going to make who ever it was pay for what they did.
