Chapter 96: Prakash and Sonal came back downstairs
I will get us some Juice Kunj, Jasmine stood up and walked towards the kitchen. Alright baby, Kunj replied and smiled having realised that Jasmine referred to them as us. As he watched her retreating back, he promised himself inwardly that he would work very hard to provide for Jasmine and their future. Jasmine entered the kitchen and smiled when she realised she used the word us. She grabbed chilled orange juices from the fridge and 2 glasses then she went back to the living room to Kunj.
Upstairs Sonal poured prakash a cup of guava juice, after which she poured herself one. As they drank, Sonal couldn't keep her eyes off her engagement ring, she smiled so much that Prakash began to smile himself before he told her that he could get her multiple diamonds if she wanted. Thanks baby but it's the thought of doing life with you that is making me smile, subconsciously Jasmine looked at her bed and smiled even more.
Prakash traced her eyes and saw what she looked at, then he complimented her by saying baby our daughter will be as beautiful as you. Sonal replied with a soft laugh that their son will be as handsome and breathtaking as he is. Baby am glad you all shades of smiles this evening but I noticed at the restaurant that you spaced out couple of times, mind sharing your thoughts with me? Prakash asked
Well dear, it all started when Zara, Jasmine and myself came back from Zara's studios...after Sonal finished narrating to him, about what transpired between her and Zara the previous day and how Zara got really mad at her, Prakash got angry himself, he was angry at Pulkit for putting his woman through pain because of his actions. He had warned Pulkit not to give Sonal the package, instead he advised him to give Zara directly because things might go wrong, and this was what exactly happened.
It was on the night that Prakash, Pulkit and Sonal all accompanied Zara to the hospital the night her mum passed out. It was a small box that could fit Sonal's handbag, that was why Prakash did not see the box after Sonal placed it inside her handbag. At that time, Sonal did not think much of what was inside the little box.
She had the intention of telling Prakash about it then but forgot, she only remembered after the guys had gone back to the military base with her Dad. Sonal has a very high IQ but when it comes to matters of the heart, she tends to unintentionally not put on thinking cap.
Prakash replied Sonal that he would deal with the situation that Sonal should not worry anymore. Sonal dropped her glass cup on the stool, stood up, took Prakash cup from his hand, drank some guava juice and put the cup on the stool beside hers. She sat on Prakash facing him, her legs was on both side of Prakash's, she placed her hands on his neck and told him thanks but he should not get angry anymore.
Prakash respond by saying but Pulkit should not.....before he finished his statement, Sonal crashed her lips against his. Prakash kissed her back, and their bodies got heated up. Prakash then stood up from the chair he was sitting on while he carried Sonal. Sonal wrapped her legs around his waist while prakash carried her. Still kissing, Prakash placed her on the bed and deepened the kiss, he almost lost control but he restrained himself with difficulty otherwise he would have devoured Sonal right there.
He stopped kissing Sonal with difficulty, in a split second he got up from her and rolled to the other side of the bed. As they both tried to catch their breaths, Prakash suggested to Sonal that they should go downstairs. He also looked at his wrist watch, it was almost 9 pm. Initially the four of them spent one hour touring the Arora Mansion when they came back from Lunch and movies, but it was more like Jasmine and Kunj tagging along while Sonal showed Prakash in particular the beauty of the Arora Mansion.
It's getting late, and you mentioned your mum's meeting ends by 9pm, she should be getting ready to come back home. Kunj and I should go too, and by the way baby, tomorrow is the final rights of my late uncle, Uncle Mehra, you and mum in law are invited. Dress code is white, I want you to come as a family member not as a staff of Mehra TV. I will instruct your manager to give you tomorrow off. I want you by my side, I will also introduce you to my family as my fiancée.
Okay Baby, Sonal responded, by this time the two of them were already at Sonal's room door. Prakash opened the door, Sonal stepped out followed by Prakash then he closed the door behind him. The two of them made their way downstairs holding hands. As they moved, halfway down the stairs, they both stopped and looked at themselves, they were surprised at the sight downstairs.
Kunj was sitting down and Jasmine was lying on top of him as they both watched Nat-geo wild. That is Jasmine's favourite channel, Sonal said smiling, well I don't know much about Kunj, Prakash replied with a worried look but Sonal did not notice. The two of them continued going downstairs when they reached the living room, their friends did not notice they had company, Prakash cleared his throat twice as loud as he could.
Jasmine sat up, she and Kunj became shy but Kunj tried to salvage the situation by saying they were watching Nat-geo wild after he stood up. We can see that, Prakash replied still worried, but he had managed to take that facial worried expression off his looks, he looked normal now. Anyway we should head to the Mehra Mansion now, it's getting late. By this time Jasmine had switched off the TV with the remote and stood up when she heard they guys were leaving.
Prakash wanted to call a taxi but suddenly said that he left his phone in the room, I will get it now. Don't worry baby I will get it for you, Sonal replied. Well don't worry about it baby, I will quickly run upstairs and get it, Sonal was about to speak when Jasmine suggested Sonal and Prakash should go together instead that time was going.
Prakash entered the room first this time, as soon as Sonal entered after him, he locked the door gently quickly, grabbed her waist, placed her back behind the wall, leaned against her and started kissing her. Sonal kissed him back a little but lightly pushed his chest that they should get his phone. He then confessed to her that his phone was in his back pocket that he missed her so he used his phone as excuse to get them back upstairs.
Downstairs Kunj could not stop smiling, Jasmine smiled back at him and asked him why he was smiling, Kunj then told her that Prakash wanted more of Sonal, that is why they both went back upstairs. Why would you say that? Jasmine asked. I saw his phone in his back pocket when they both went back upstairs and one day we would also be so in love that we wouldn't want to path Kunj replied.
Jasmine blushed and lightly hit Kunj's body, told him to stop it sweetly, then she threw a throw pillow at him, Kunj was not angry, he also got into the play mood and threw a throw pillow back at Jasmine, they continued throwing throw pillows back and forth, after a while Jasmine ran, then Kunj pursued her and caught her by her waist while her back faced him.
They both laughed before Jasmine turned around and hugged Kunj. They both stayed like that for a while before sitting down. After sitting, Kunj gave her his mobile and military base number before he requested for her mobile number. Jasmine collected his number and gave him hers.
Immediately they were done exchanging numbers, Prakash and Sonal came back downstairs. Prakash called Kunj, Kunj got up and they headed out, Sonal and Jasmine followed them outside. Immediately they got outside, the girls hugged the guys and wished them a good night before the guys entered the cab on and left. The truth was that Prakash had booked the cab earlier for the day, the cab man had waited for them when he brought them to the Arora Mansion 7pm earlier.
Meanwhile at the Military Base....
Pulkit, Sagar and Ajay were returning back from the military lounge, they had decided they would unwind at the military lounge and resume their personal training the following night. On their way back, Pulkit suggested they take another path just to explore more of the base, he also mentioned he had seen some soldiers use that route before. The others agreed. It was not too long when they diverted to the new root, that Ajay sensed he felt someone was running suspiciously ahead of them, Sagar jokingly said that maybe it's someone spying on them.
Pulkit responded by saying its not a joking matter, that in Sagar joking state, he could be right. We need to be very careful and very alert then, Ajay chipped in and said that they should follow the sound to know what is going on. Led by Ajay, the three of them then quietly followed the direction that the sound came from. As they moved, they discovered they were moving deeper and further away from the military base into a bush path.
After a while their paths became slightly dark, because there was no street light in that area. It took them about 20 minutes deep down into the bush paths before they discovered a door to a secret tunnel. Ajay still in the lead opened the door and carefully peeped through with his military touch for safety reasons because one can never know what is lurking in the dark tunnel.
As he was peeping through, Pulkit and Sagar looked back at their surroundings for possible threats for their safety. When Ajay was done and found no one in the tunnel, he said all cleared. The three soldiers proceeded still been led by Ajay. As soon as they entered the tunnel, Pulkit and Sagar used their military touch lights aswell. They moved from one end of the tunnel to the other end, by the time they got to the other end of the tunnel, they all switched off their military lights.
Quietly Ajay slightly and carefully opened the tunnel, and peeped through, from a distance he saw 5 looking fierce mafias discussing, although he did not hear what they were saying, but he noticed one of them was pointing towards the tunnel. At first he thought they had discovered them, but later realised that was not the case because the 5 looking fierce mafias did not make any attempt at attacking them, rather they went their own way after about 10 minutes.
After they left, Ajay quickly closed the door of the tunnel with great care so as not to alert the Mafias of their presence. He then quietly told the guys that he saw 5 looking fierce mafias, that they should head back quickly before they get discovered, that he will describe them in detail when they get back to their rooms in the military camp. It is a good thing we don't have plans of training personally today Pulkit quietly said as they walked back. I think we should walk quietly now till we get to our room Sagar mentioned. The three guys agreed and proceeded from then on quietly.
