Chapter 91: A Major General.
,Zara turned and faced Sonal and Jasmine after she locked the doors from the outside of her art studio. It was an eventful day. Girls why don't you come by my art studio more often, whenever you come, my students are always livelier and surprisingly we make greater art sales than other days.
Zara thanks for the invite, personally I can only make it few times, frequently would be a no no because of my work, Sonal said. Well as for me, I need all the distractions I can get until I find something doing, oh that reminds me, I did apply for a job at Jah Company, am expecting an interview invite, when it comes and I make the team I won't be able to frequent here, Jasmine chipped in.
Girl I like your confidence, so strong, that is the spirit, Sonal replied. And I would be first in line to congratulate you girl, but why don't you to take the opportunity to assist me in educating my art students before you get the job, am intending to expand and before I get art tutors to join me, I could use your help.
I could see that you really interested in art considering the way you handled those brush strokes and assisted one of my students, Zara added. Alright Zara that is really a great idea but I do need time to think about it, I have flare for art like you do but you the professional here, I would need some professional pointers, Jasmine replied.
Oh that is not a problem, you a natural, and do you know that the student you assisted is a slow learner? Well surprisingly, he did catch up so fast, but not an issue, I can give you some pointers, and there is also a site on the internet that you can check out, it will aid you more, Zara responded.
Zara brought out her phone, showed Jasmine the site, and said, I will just forward the link to your phone, so you can check it out when you get home. Okay Zara that would be great, when I check out the site again at home, I should be able to give you a reply by tomorrow, Jasmine said. Okay Jasmine, Zara replied.
The girls proceeded to the elevator, Zara pressed the elevator button and it opened. they were on the second floor, the three girls entered, afterwards she pressed the ground floor button. On their way down, about 2 other persons who had their business in same building entered. from the first floor. When the elevator reached the ground floor, all exited the elevator.
As the girls were heading to their cars, Sonal's phone began to ring, she picked and answered hello mum. Hello Sonal, I was calling you to tell you to pass by Zara's house when you coming back, the women and I had a brief meeting today to brainstorm on the way forward to finish preparations for the upcoming women's town conference.
Okay mum am listening, I would have called Zara myself but I want you to help pick up the preparation plan from Zara's home, the few women who were sent to visit Zara's mum at the hospital briefed us that Zara's mum mentioned she would tell Zara to give it to us.
Okay mum, well mum Jasmine and I are with Zara now, we visited her at her art studio, we were about coming home while Zara was leaving for hers, but we would just go with her and pick it up then come home, see you later mum, Sonal replied. Okay child be safe, see you and Jasmine soon, Madam Shruti responded.
Sonal ended the call and moved to Zara who was spaced out with the night view. My mum just called, she mentioned something about the preparation plan, that your mum must have sent you to give her, well it appears my mum will be needing it tonight to get a head start with continuation of the preparations tomorrow.
Oh yes Sonal, Zara tapped her forehead lightly, indicating she forgot, it did skip my mind to tell you, when I visited my mum earlier today, before you came with Jasmine later in the afternoon, my mum had conveyed the message to me. I intended bringing it to your office tomorrow, you know before I reach my art studios, coming from the Ashoka mansion, I usually pass Mehra TV.
No problem girl, Jasmine and I will just come with you now to your mansion, I would tell my driver to follow your car behind, Sonal replied. Alright girl, my car is parked to the right, we would drive out first, then your car can follow, Zara responded.
Okay Zara, Sonal replied and turned to Jasmine, Jasmine? she called. Jasmine looked at Sonal, ever since Sonal picked up her call, she had been busy checking out the site Zara showed her and, also going through her social media accounts, she was not listening. Yes Sonal? she replied.
We would be going to Zara's house before we go home, Sonal told her. But why is that? Jasmine asked. I will tell you all about it in the car, let's just go. By this time Zara had gotten to her car, few minutes later they got to theirs.
She then Instructed her driver to follow Zara's car who was already in front of them. She afterwards explained to Jasmine their reason for going to Zara's house before going home to the Arora mansion.
When they got to the Ashoka's Mansion, Zara gave Sonal the preparation plan, then started explaining to her what the plan was about because the curious Sonal wanted to know. Well Zara had asked her mum about it, and she had explained the plan to her countless of times.
You know what Zara? why don't you just come with Jasmine and I to the Arora mansion, and explain this to my mum, it would be better coming from you, Sonal urged Zara. Not sure about that Sonal, I mean it's really late and I really want to take a hot bath and get some sleep, am really exhausted, Zara yawned.
In that case, why don't you do a sleep over at the Arora mansion, at my place, it would be fun, you will love it, just like Jasmine and I loved it with when we came over here with my mum, when she was having a simple get together here few weeks ago with your mum and their other friends.
Yeah it was going great until I ruined it all, I still blame myself for Jasmine's breakdown, I didn't realize you were trying to protect her by changing the topic of discussion, if I could turn the hands of time, I would do things differently, Zara replied.
Hmmm! Zara you shouldn't blame yourself, to me, Rohit should be held responsible, don't beat yourself up, honestly girl, you did me a favour, I would have found our later, sooner was okay, Jasmine responded. Alright girls why don't we help Zara pack up a few things she would need for the sleep over, Sonal chipped in.
While Zara packed up her pajamas, work outfits, and shoes for the next day, including her sponge and tooth brush, Jasmine and Sonal who had kept the preparation plans in her own bag helped her pack up her work bag and some important files that Zara pointed out to them.
Meanwhile at Yuvrag's Pent House...
Yuvrag and Alvni layed on the bed covered, they were fast asleep, Alvni rested her head on Yuvrag's chest. She slept soundly without any fear of getting pregnant. Before she started having an affair with Yuvrag, she made sure she took post pill on a daily basis, she didn't want to be caught unawares in the arms of Yuvrag without any protection, incase of a day like this.
Yuvrag on the other hand loved it raw, he never used any protection when he was sliding in and out of Nisha's and Alvni's privates at different times. He believed a girl should be sensible enough to protect herself and not get pregnant, irrespective of if she is his fiancée or side chick.
When Yuvrag ordered takeaways from White Chillies earlier in the morning, he had ordered enough that would last them the whole day. After breakfast, Alvni had refrigerated the remaining ones, so that when they wake up anytime, they would microwave the food and have their meal. They sure didn't have time to eat lunch because they were having hot sex the whole day.
Meanwhile at the Arora Mansion...
Madam Shruti looked at the time, it was almost 9 pm, she was beginning to worry that Sonal and Jasmine had not yet returned, she then decided to give Sonal a Call. Ring ring...the phone rang but Jasmine did not pick up, she called again but still no response.
She then called Zara, her phone was switched off, this was because Zara was charging it, and when she is charging it, she normally switches it off. Madam Shruti then decided to call Jasmine's phone, Jasmine was on another call, she was speaking to an online friend who called her on We Chat.
Madam Shruti became very worried, she was about to call the Arora family driver when she received a call, when she looked at the caller ID, it was Sonal, hello Sonal, where are you girls now? I called but you didn't pick up, is everything alright? I was beginning to get worried.
Mum nothing to worry about, my phone was in my bag and my hand bag was inside the Ashoka mansion. We decided that it was best Zara came home with us, so she explains to you the details of the preparation plan herself. We just got back into the Arora mansion, we were helping Zara carry her bags to the car.
Before I could reach for my phone when on the second ring, it had cut off. Sorry about that mum, hope you don't mind Zara coming home with us? I was going to inform you as soon as we started coming back home.
No child, I don't mind, just come home soon, it's getting really late, Madam Shruti replied. Okay mum, we would be on our way soon, Sonal replied and ended the call, then picked up her hand bag. By this time, Zara had switched on her phone and was already out with her handbag, as for Jasmine she finished her call, kept her phone in her handbag and said am ready girls, are we ready?
We ready let's go, but before then I would give my driver a call to come pick me up from the Arora Mansion tomorrow since I would be joining you in your car, Sonal said. Alright girl we waiting, Sonal responded. Few minutes later, she had informed her driver and ended the call.
The girls exited the Ashoka mansion, Zara had locked all the doors and kept the mansion keys in her handbag. After which the girls proceeded to Sonal's car. The three girls sat at the back, the driver drove out of the Ashoka Mansion Compound and was on his way to the Arora Mansion. The Ahsoka gatemen had done their duties by opening and and closing and locking the gates.
Meanwhile at the Military Base....
Prakash bones were still hurting but it had gotten less, he had gone to the military hospital in the base to get proper treatment, he was not able to do so earlier because according to the rules, if you received any punishment you are expected to perform the next day's drill before receiving any treatments from the military hospital. In the past, those who violated that rule by receiving early treatment, were kicked out from the military and sent home.
The guys decided to spend the night with Prakash, they opted to skip their personal training sessions. And it was worth it, they discussed extensively about their future and the way forward, they all discovered that Ajay's dream was heading towards becoming a major general.
