Chapter 82: Give Zara a call
Still at the Arora Mansion
Sonal yawned genuinely, she was indeed very tired after a long day at the hospital then to work and back to the hospital, then to the restaurant and now she is back home. Dad am very tired, please can I go upstairs and get some rest now? I had a very long day.
Alright child, I can see you very tired, you should go take a rest, I would let your mum know you home, safe and sound when she wakes up in the middle of the night. In the mean time, I would be downstairs, I need to take care of some things.
Take care of some things? Sonal asked with worries. Don't worry child, I can hear worry in that tone of yours. I am here because of work related things, I will call the base now, to check up on things. Alright child good night.
Okay dad, good night, I will be upstairs. Sonal replied and went straight to her room. The first thing she did was put in the take aways in her mini fridge but in the freezer compartment. She took a warm bath to freshen up afterwards, put on her pajamas and laid down tired on the bed.
Few minutes later her phone began to ring, excitedly she picked it up without looking at her caller ID. She said Hello dear, I was expecting your call. Wow Sonal, you have made my day, I thought you will never be sweet to me so soon, the caller replied.
As soon as Sonal heard his response, her face suddenly went pale, she looked at the caller ID, it was Yash. Yash let me guess, you think I would give you free promotions at Mehra TV? well I won't, you should pay for promos, promos don't come cheap, it cost money.
Yash look am really tired, I had a long day, we talk tomorrow, I want to get some rest. Sonal was about to hang up the phone, Yash pleaded with her by saying; Sonal please, don't hang up yet, give me few minutes of your time, I want to apologize for not sending you the money of the Sari I promised you earlier today.
I prefer to buy you another one, we can sit and have a long talk. Don't you want to get married, our families have given us their blessings, it's left for us to pick which year, then we all can go to the priest to give us an auspicious date to finally be one.
Baby I want to have you, I miss you and I want to be inside of you, you don't want any Intimacy until we get married, so I suggest we get married sooner not later, don't keep me waiting for too long baby.
Yash, look this is not what we should discuss over the phone, this week is a very busy week for me, when am free we would find a day to sit and discuss properly, Sonal replied.
Okay baby, I would be patient, I would wait but I can't wait for us to be official, I want to proudly introduce you as my wife, my beautiful wife Sonal. Alright dear you get some sleep now, I would hang up now, good night. Before he could do that, Sonal hang up first.
Sonal stirred at her phone, she was disturbed, she never loved Yash, she hadn't even kissed him once, but she kissed Prakash, she loved every moment she spent with him, she was now his now. She then made a mental note, I would find a way to let Yash know we over for good this time.
It didn't take long, her phone began to ring again, she assumed Yash called back, she didn't look at the caller ID, she picked up and answered with a disinterested tone, hello what is it this time, I told you we would talk when am free, please stop bothering me.
Prakash was confused, at the restaurant, they both shared a passionate kiss, she even accepted to be his girl, then what happened, he asked himself inwardly. Baby did someone hurt you, he decided to give her benefits of the doubt and ask her instead.
Oh, it is you, Prakash dear, she looked at the caller ID to confirm for sure, she was right, she recognised his voice. she continued, baby am really sorry, I didn't look at my caller ID, I just imagined it was Yash calling me again, she then went ahead to tell Prakash about the conversation she had with Yash on the phone.
And you know dear, am so fond of not looking at my ID especially when am expecting a call from someone. Same thing happened to me earlier in the morning, your sister called and I thought it was Yash calling again, because I had spoken to him few minutes ago before Desha called me. And he always succeeds in ruining my mood.
After hearing all from Sonal, Prakash then responded; baby don't worry your head about him, first of all, if he irritates your mood and spoils it by making you be in a bad mood, the first thing you should do is block him from all your social media accounts.
Don't worry babe. I would deal with him and make sure he doesn't bother my baby, you mine now, I will make sure he gets to know that, so you don't worry about telling him, so he doesn't hurt you and get you into trouble. Okay baby, why don't you get some rest, hope you taking your bath? Prakash asked.
Yes dear, I have, and you asking me about that just reminds me of the first night we spent together, I meant that part of your just stepping out of the shower, she was smiling on the phone just thinking about him.
Any way dear, have you had your shower yet? Sonal then asked Prakash in return. Yes I have baby, and we would one day take baths together, wouldn't you love that? Prakash asked. Baby am blushing right now, Sonal responded. Am happy I made you happy again and brought your good mood back, Prakash replied.
Alright baby getting late, I want you to have a good night rest, you know we have an early start, and you still have to go to work after we have gotten Jasmine home, Prakash said. Yes dear, I agree with you, you should sleep well too, we should both sleep well.
Good night baby, sweet dreams dear and dream of me, Sonal replied. I will dear, sweet dreams to you too, dream of me as well, night night, they both hung up together. Coincidentally they will later dream same dreams but in different scenes. It didn't take long for Sonal to sleep after her call ended with Prakash.
Meanwhile in the Singh's Mansion
Prakash on the other hand didn't sleep immediately, he decided to brain storm on possible ways he can tell Yash to back off his girlfriend, and if he won't listen, he was planning on using extreme measures. He didn't want to bother his buddies, so he didn't go to their rooms.
While he was still brain storming, he had knock on his door, yes come in, he replied. Ajay came in, with a worried look on his face sat down on the sofa in the room. Buddy what is wrong? Prakash asked
Prakash, we have to go back to base tomorrow, Major general Gevan called, he is in town, he got wind of us being here, he and all the other major generals across the country had a close door meeting with the president, about the critical issue happening in Sudan.
Well both northern and Southern Sudan, but the Indian army with some other armies of the world will join forces and focus on Northern Sudan, while some will focus on Northern Sudan. Our presence is urgently needed back in base, we have no choice than to go back to the base, with him and his assistants tomorrow.
Can't we buy a day or two before we go back to base Ajay? Prakash asked. Well Prakash, Ajay replied, I tried that already, but the best I could get was for us to discharge Jasmine tomorrow and bid her and Sonal goodbye. We would leave Sonal to take care of her, while we go back to base with Major general Gevan.
Alright buddy, as Prakash replied, he started to dress up that Ajay had to ask him where he was going. Well I only have this night with Sonal, I won't waste it, Prakash replied. You and Sonal! When did this happen? Ajay asked. Last night buddy, Prakash replied, I would tell you and the guys all about it when we get back to base but for now I have to go.
Alright I wish you the best buddy, Ajay replied while both of them were leaving the room. As they moved in the lobby, to their surprised Pulkit was all dressed and ready to head out, Sagar on the other hand was still in his PJs apparently seeing Pulkit off.
Pulkit and Sagar on the other hand were also surprised to see Prakash all dressed up and heading out while Ajay was in his PJs seeing him off as well. Wow guys this is a coincidence, I must admit Ajay said.
Well now we all together, we should prepare ourselves against tomorrow, Major General Gevan is in town, he called me few minutes ago. He wants us to head back to base with him early tomorrow. But we have the opportunity of discharging Jasmine tomorrow, then we leave Sonal to take it up from there.
Pulkit, I can see you all dressed up, where you heading to? Ajay asked. It's an emergency, I received a call from Zara, as soon as she got home, she found her mum on the ground unconscious in her room, she had passed out. She didn't even have the time to freshen up, she is on her way back to old Delhi hospital, she is taking her mum there for medicals.
Am heading there myself to keep her company. It's good Sagar and I saw you and Prakash, I should probably take my army uniform along. As it is, we would be going back to the military base straight from the hospital, Pulkit replied.
That is not a problem Pulkit, I would have brought your army uniform to you to the hospital in the morning, Sagar replied. Pulkit went and came out shortly from their room with a small back pack, with his army uniform in it.
Thanks buddy but I have to go now, I would find out the full details of Zara's mum condition when I get to old Delhi hospital, Pulkit replied. As he was about to go, he then asked, If am heading to the hospital, then Prakash, where are you heading to?
Pulkit am heading to the Arora Mansion, but come to think of it, we can both head to the hospital, but you have to do me favour. What favour Prakash? Pulkit asked.
Please can you give Zara a call, to put a call through to Sonal, to come meet us at the hospital, that way, we can spend more time together, don't forget to also tell her to come with her work clothes. I have little time to spend with her before we head back to the base with major general Gevan tomorrow.
Alright buddy let's go, l will do that now, Pulkit responded, I will book us a cab, Prakash replied. Why don't you guys take my car, it's still in the parking lot, Ajay urged them to, I will get the keys, he further said.
Thanks Ajay but I think a cab will be better, me I really don't want to drive this late, how about you Pulkit? Prakash asked. We on same page, don't want to drive myself either, let's just order the cab, Pulkit replied.
By this time, they were already outside in the compound, it was 11pm. Zara's phone rang, Pulkit then asked her to please call Sonal to come around and with her work clothes, that he is bringing Prakash with him. Zara had no problem with that, she understood that Pulkit was just trying to help Prakash, she would do same for Sonal.
