Chapter 64: Mother Ritz Could Not Stop Hugging Him

At the Bhatt Hotels and Suites in Bombay...

Rohit had hurriedly left Sunita's room without her noticing. It was already morning, it would be awkward and embarrassing if both families got to know he spent the night with Sunita, especially now that it is their wedding week.

When Sunita woke up, she was a little disappointed that Rohit had sneaked out of her arms and her room, back to his. She got up, went into the bathroom, brushed her teeths and freshened up.

After freshening up, she got dressed and went to Rohit's room to inform him that she was heading back to the Bhatt Mansion to join in on their wedding preparations.

Rohit followed her downstairs and helped her check out before calling a cab for her. They wished themselves good bye, the driver drove Sunita to the Bhatt Mansion while Rohit went back inside the hotel and back to his room.

When he got to his room, he made some few calls to his friends who were coming for his wedding, he gave each of them the address of Bhatt Hotels and Suites, they were going to come in later in the day from different parts of India.

In the United States of America....

Aunty Mehra had spent quite some time taking care of her son, she took care of him well. After a while her son asked her to go back home to be with his dad, it was already getting very late.

He told his mum, aunty Mehra that he would not want her to sleep in the hospital anymore like she did the previous night, he informed her that the nurse told him when he first woke up and was looking for her and his dad.

Although Aunty Mehra wanted so much to stay in the hospital with her son, she did not want him to worry for her either, she wanted him to recover fully, If he gets worried, it would affect his recovery process negatively.

She also did not want him to find out so soon about his father's demise, she knew that if she stayed a little longer here with him in the ICU room, her grief will betray her, her son will ask her why she was looking sober and eventually will find out the truth which will inturn affect his health.

Aunty Mehra also recalled that the doctor had instructed her not to stay too long in the ICU room, her son needed all the rest he can, to aid his recovery process.

She also thought of the fact that if she was to decide to stay, she would spend the night in the long bench which will cause her body to ache again like it did earlier in the day at her home.

Her son was the one asking her to go home, that means he was not intending to call for her during the night, so even if she stayed, she most likely would not see him until the next day after she leaves the ICU room for him to take a rest.

Having thought of all this things, she then replied, ok son, I will go home and come back tomorrow to come see you. Be a good boy, take your medications and take a rest.

With his frail voice, her son continued to speak to her. He replied, ok mum, I will be a good boy and take my medications. When you get home please tell dad that am being a good boy and am taking my medications. He should come with you tomorrow to see me, I miss him mum.

Aunty Mehra looked at her son, tears were about to fall out her eyes, but she held it so that it won't fall, so her son won't be worried. She quickly responded with her voice that was now coaxed now, ok son, take a rest now, I will be going now.

She got up quickly to leave, her son noticed her voice was coaxed. As she was leaving, he called out to her, mum?. When she heard her son call her, she stopped moving forward, but she did not turn to face her son.

He continued, mum I will be fine, I promise to get better, don't worry too much. As he finished saying this, a nurse came in, it's time for your medications. Aunty Mehra then said. I will go home now, take your medications and rest before she left the room.

As soon as Aunty Mehra got outside of her son's ICU room, she could not hold her tears any longer, her tears flowed down her cheeks freely. She went to the long bench, sat down and cried softly for some time.

After a while, she used her handkerchief to wipe her face, it always came in handy like it did on the day of her husband's demise. Some nurses and other patients families did comfort her outside.

She put herself together and went to pray to the goddess that was situated in a mini temple inside the hospital. When she was done praying, she went outside of the hospital.

Outside, She called her driver with her phone, she was glad that he insisted on waiting for her and that he did not leave. Her driver drove the car from the parking space to her. She got inside the car, and the driver drove her back home.

When they got home, the driver parked the car. When they both came out of it, he gave her the car keys. She took it, said thank you to the driver and went inside the house. The driver lives with his family in another house not too far away from aunty Mehra's house.

The next morning, the maid came to the house, it was one of the two days she normally comes every week to clean. As she was cleaning, aunty Mehra gave her some money and instructed her to buy some take outs and put them in the fridge when she is done with her work.

The one that would last her for at least a week before she restocks. Aunty Mehra has always been the one cooking when uncle Mehra was still alive, the couple loved home cooked meal.

Now uncle Mehra was no more, she was still in mourning and did not not have the zeal to cook anymore. The maid replied, yes madam and was wondering if her madam was alright but she did not ask, rather she went back to cleaning.

As the maid was cleaning, the door bell rang, she went to the door, asked who it was and opened it. As soon as she saw the four men who looked terrifying, she was scared and ran to call her madam, Aunty Mehra.

Aunty Mehra had just gotten ready and ready to leave the house to go see her son in the hospital. She came outside and saw the men. She then asked, gentlemen, how may I help you? is there a problem?

One of them replied, no madam, all is absolutely fine. He introduced himself and the three others, that they were hired by Mr. Purhab Mehra to protect her.

Two of them will protect her by day, and the other two by night and and if she needs them all at once, they would be of service to her. She looked at their faces, took out her phone and looked at a picture, the one that her brother in-law had sent her. A picture of her bodyguards that he had hired to protect her.

Alright gentlemen, she acknowledged them and told her maid not to be scared of them that her brother in-law had sent them to her for protection. Ok madam, she replied and went back to work.

The maid knew what to do, if no one was present in the house, as at the time she finished her work in the house, she would lock the doors and throw the key inside. Aunty and Uncle Mehra have their personal key to the house.

The bodyguards have their own car. Aunty Mehra went outside of the house, the driver was just arriving. She gave him the car keys and informed him about the bodyguards so he should not be worried that they are being followed.

At the Ritz Mansion in Delhi, India....

Brother Ritz who was away overseas to seal a business deal with foreigners had come back successfully. He did so well that the Ritz firm were able to gain access in the foreign market.

He made father Ritz, the CEO of Ritz firm so proud. When dominant companies like that of Mehra Conglomerates, Jah Company and Chatavredi Company will talk about owning market shares in foreign markets, Ritz firm from now on can also rub shoulder with them business wise.

Brother Ritz had bought something for everyone including his relatives at the old mansion. It was night time, he made a mental note to send the driver over there at the old mansion the next day to give everyone what he had bought for them.

When he came inside the Ritz Mansion, Mother Ritz could not stop hugging him, she hugged him so much that father Ritz had to intervene. Our son had just returned home, allow his sisters to welcome him too and for him to rest afterwards.

After father Ritz said that, mother Ritz reluctantly released her son. Nisha and Nikita immediately took over and hugged him. Welcome home brother, we missed you so much, what did you buy for us? They said and asked one after the other.

Brother Ritz replied, Nisha, Nikita, I just got back, I bought everyone something but allow me settle down first then I will give everyone what I bought for them.

And I also have to discuss with father how I sealed the contract with the foreign companies with my assistant. So the sooner you both released me, the sooner you will get to have what I bought for you.

He smiled at them, the sister duo also smiled back at him and released him. The butlers were around to help with his bags but the sister duo insisted on carrying their brothers bag upstairs to his room.

When brother Ritz got to his room with his sisters, they left him immediately to take his bath. When he was done freshening up, he wore his pajamas and came downstairs with one bag that contained the firm's documents and another that contained the presents he bought for everyone.

Mother Ritz had already made sure that the maids prepared his favorite foods. The table was already set. He joined the rest of his family and they all happily had dinner.

After dinner, the maids and butlers cleared the table, the Ritz family went to the living room. When they were all sitted, brother Ritz took the bag containing what he had bought for everyone.

He opened it and gave everyone their presents, starting from father Ritz, mother, Nisha Ritz and finally Nikita Ritz. Father Ritz noticed that the bag still contained some items so he asked his son who the rest were for.

Father, it's for grandfather, grandmother, uncle and aunty Ritz, including my nephews and baby niece Ritz. After hearing this, his father was please. That is great son, you remembered our relatives in the old Mansion.

But what about your first aunty? you didn't buy for her and her family? Father Ritz asked. Brother Ritz replied, father she is married and living in her husband's family home.

Her husband's family is very large, if I must buy for her, I would have to buy for them aswell and you know father, I can't carry so much on the plane. Ok son, that is true, Father Ritz bought into his statement.

Mother Ritz and the sister duo thanked him for their gifts, excused themselves and went upstairs to their respective rooms. Brother Ritz called one of the butlers and asked him to take the bag containing the remaining items he bought back to his room.
