Chapter 54: 85 Percent Of The Votes Went To Them
Days went bye, Sunita was much better, she could now walk now but anytime she wanted to use the bathroom or the toilet, the care giver that her dad had hired for her would help help her out by walking her there.
The care giver would bring water for her, cut up fruits and give her. Initially she used to feed her always when she was newly hired, but now Sunita insisted on feeding herself.
The care giver only feed her occasionally now when she is very tired from lying down all day in the hospital bed. She took care of Sunita so well that when the rest of her family members came visiting, they believed she could pass for a discharge from the hospital.
The doctors had not discharge her yet because they needed to keep a close eye on her and ensure she was very fit to resume her daily life.
Rohit and his assistant were very well behaved, they did not go to the media to complain about how they were ill treated by President Bhatt and cause a scandal. Rohit was no longer excuted by the bodyguards, he went in to the hospital on his own alone without his assistant to check up on Sunita from time to time.
Though the bodyguards did not follow Rohit to the hospital anymore, they were instructed by President Bhatt to continue to keep an eye on them at the new hotel they went to lodge in.
Anytime Rohit visited Sunita, she was better than the last time he saw her. This time around that Rohit was visiting, she complained to him that she was feeling much better and wanted to return home.
Rohit held her hands and said to her, be patient, the doctor will discharge you when he is absolutely sure that you're fully alright, don't worry so much about it. He hugged her afterwards.
Anytime he comes around to visit her, he always took the opportunity to hug her, he knows that when she leaves the hospital, he might not get that chance anymore. He decided to make a habit of hugging her more often.
When he hugs her, she gets comforted and gets comfortable in his arms. Then she will say, please tell my dad to tell the doctor to discharge me, honestly I feel fully fine, I can now walk on my own now and my body doesn't ache anymore.
Rohit will always reply her, ok Sunita I will do that but rest more ok. The truth of the matter was that he was scared of Ravi Bhatt that he never dared to tell him that.
He sometimes wished she can stay longer in the hospital, so he would continue to have the opportunity to hug her and allow her get comfortable in his arms.
He visits her in high spirits but when he is going back to the hotel, he becomes moody, and Sunita on the other hand will become sad. He did not want to part with Sunita and Sunita did not want him to leave her side but he can't remain with her in the hospital, he had to leave.
Friday came, the last day of the two weeks presentation. All representatives of the different companies that came to bid for the contract decided to put in their all, their best. Rohit and his assistant were not left out.
The presentation in the board room went on and ended successfully, everyone then congratulated each other and wished themselves the best of luck.
After the last presentation, they did not go away, they all came out of the board room and waited in the waiting lounge at Bhatt Conglomerates except President Bhatt, vice president Vijay and the board of directors.
They stayed back to debate and vote for who the contract should be awarded to. Non of the board of directors knew what happened between Sunita and Vijay so they were not biased in their decision making.
After proper review and open discussion about the two weeks presentation, it was time for everyone inside the board room to vote. After the votes had been keyed in, the results appeared on the projector.
Rohit and his assistant had won the contract, 85 percent of the votes went to them while the remaining 15 percent were shared among the rest.
The different representatives were informed to come back into the board room by president's Bhatt's secretary. When they got back inside, the results of who had the contract was revealed to them.
Everyone congratulated Rohit and his assistant. Rohit and his assistant could not believe their eyes that they won the contract. But reality was that they did win it fair and square
After congratulating Rohit and his assistant, the other competitors left, as they were leaving, the competitor who had previously pointed out the flaws in Rohit and his assistant's presentation, boldly spoke up that the voting was biased.
The other competitors though disappointed that they did not win the contract, non of them believed him, they believed in the integrity of President Bhatt. When he saw that no one paid attention to him, he shamefully bent his head and walked out of the board room with the rest.
Rohit, his assistant, President Bhatt, vice president Vijay and the board of directors were the ones left in the board room. Rohit and his assistant were congratulated again.
They were now being informed by President Bhatt that the contracts will be drafted by Bhatt Conglomerates' lawyer on Monday the following week, that they should come back into the office for signing of the contract.
Rohit and his assistant then shook hands firmly with everyone else inside the board room and left Bhatt Conglomerates. They did not go to their hotel immediately but rather they went to a nice bar to celebrate their victory.
Rohit called his father back home and informed him that he is bringing the contract home. His father congratulated him, and informed him that his secretary would send his assistant, who was also their company lawyer the details of Burih firm's terms and conditions for the contract. He talked with his father for a little while longer before he hunged up.
He informed his assistant about what his father had conveyed to him. They celebrated afterwards. After they had a few drinks, he called Sunita and informed her that He won the contract.
He also told her that he will come bye the hospital in the evening when she is being discharged. President Bhatt had given him that information about Sunita being discharged that evening. He told him to be there to see her for the last time and never contact her again but he did not tell Sunita that.
Meanwhile in Delhi...
The sun was hot, today was the day that Yuvrag was supposed to come pick up Natasha from the university to the pent house. He couldn't wait, in fact he had come to Delhi university earlier when she had not finished classes and wisked her away.
She was helpless at how Yuvi was behaving, she made a mental note that when they reached their pent out, she would torture him a little bit. How? she asked herself.
She did not know when she said how out loud. Yuvi who was driving replied her, how what dear? She smiled at him and said, how do you look so handsome every time I see you.
He smiled back at her and said, because I have a gorgeous fiancee and soon to be wife by my side, whom will make me happy tonight. Natasha blushed and hit Yuvi lightly. You pervert she said, Yuvi swayed a little and said to Natasha, chill dear am driving.
Natasha looked at him apologetically and said, am sorry love, I almost cost us an accident. It's alright love, just pay me back later to night with your beautiful self.
Natasha blushed again, she had forgotten about the fact that she was planning to deal with Yuvi later for coming to take her out of class and could not wait for her to be done with classes because he wanted to have her. Truth was she wanted to have him just as much as he wanted to have her.
After about an hour of driving, Yuvi reached their pent house, he drove the car straight into his garage. When he switched off his car, he hurriedly came down, went round the car, opened for Natasha, she came out of the car and he carried her inside the house.
Yuvi took her straight to the bedroom and laid her on the bed. He bent himself over her and locked lips with her, he helped her take off her clothes, she helped him take off his clothes.
They continued kissing, he got her in the mood, he was ready to drive into her and she was ready to receive him. He took it slow so as not to hurt her.
When he had opened her milky way, he went deeper and deeper, she moaned under him, he loved her sweet voice. She was in pain but it was sweetness aswell.
She did not like it rough, she loved it slow so Yuvi was slow and tender, he kissed her temple as he came in and out of her. She was very sweet. He could not stop himself, he had her for hours till it was very dark outside.
She was overwhelmed by exhaustion, she moaned some more, called Yuvi several times and pleaded for him to stop, she could not take it anymore.
Yuvi was not tired, he heard her pleas, it was music to his ears, his kissed her temple again and came out of her. He hugged her tight and said, baby you are very sweet.
In her tiredness, Natasha blushed and hid herself under the covers, Yuvi chuckled and removed the covers and said baby dont be shy, your body is beautiful.
Yuvi stop, you very sweet aswell but am exhausted right now, and I don't want my mouth to ache too as a result of blushing too much, Natasha responded.
Ok Natasha, but let's go take a bath, I would carry you. He carried her into the bathroom and placed her into the bathtub. The heater was already on.
In the bathtub, Natasha painfully turned on the tap to fill up the bathtub. Her body ached. Yuvi went back to the bedroom, he removed the blood stained sheets and tossed it into the washing machine for washing.
He came back to change the bed covers with fresh clean ones, then went back into the bathroom to join Natasha in the bathtub that is half filled with water.
When he got inside, he made sure that they were in a position of Natasha leaning on him. When the bathtub was filled up, he turned off the tap.
The Bath gel was close bye, he took it and rubbed some on Natasha and himself. They washed themselves up and stayed in the bathtub for a while and got up.
Yuvi opened the drainage to drain off the soapy water in the bathtub. He turned on the shower and they both rinsed their bodies. After showering, they both wore bath robes.
He carried Natasha back into to bedroom. Placed her on the chair, brought out her hair dryer and helped her dry her hair. He carried her again and placed her on their neatly laid bed. He got into the bed with her and they locked lips for a while before sleeping in each other's arms.
