Chapter 45: Rohit Has Decided to Hit on His Precious Daughter
Rohit entered his room and decided to take a shower before going to bed. Usually after going through all important documents especially at night, he becomes so exhausted that he doesn't shower before bed.
But tonight was different, he spent the day discussing business with his assistant and briefing his father over the phone, how things were going currently.
He didn't work deep into the night, but rather had dinner with Sunita, so he was not exhausted. After taking his bath, he wore his pajamas and decided to call Sunita and wish her good night.
But as he picked up his phone from the stool next to his bed, he realised he forgot to get her number, he then made a mental note to ask her about it the following day.
When he placed down his phone back on the stool, he went to the exact spot where Sunita had sat down on his bed. He then laid on it and took in the sweet scent that was left behind by her.
He so wished at that moment, that he had her so close to him, he recalled how he embraced her in the lobby in front of her room and how he almost kissed her there.
As he was thinking about it, he rolled on the bed, left to right and imagining himself rolling on the bed stack naked with Sunita and enjoying her flavour.
He was so deep in thought that he didn't know when he fell down from the bed, he had rolled too much. He fell down but he didn't hurt himself, he only felt a slight pain at his side. He had fallen on something.
He got up, massaged his side a little and bent down to check what he fell on. Lo and behold, he saw that it was a phone, it was Sunita's phone. Her phone must have fallen from her dress pocket when she stood up to leave, he said to himself.
He picked up the phone and panicked a little, he was not sure if he broke the phone or if the phone was still in good condition.
If it is still in good condition, it was alright but if the phone was broken, it would be really bad. His chances with Sunita might be ruined. He panicked some more.
After checking the phone, he let out a sigh, he was relieved, the phone was still in good condition. He did not fall directly on the phone, but rather it was on the edge of the phone.
Where the phone had fallen was not too visible, that is why Rohit did not notice the phone was there all this while.
He decided to take it to her to her room, but on a second note, he changed his mind, he would give it to her the next day. He remembered that she was with her friends. It was already late in the night and he didn't want to disturb them.
He then decided to place it next to his phone. As he placed her phone on the stool, he smiled, an idea popped out of his head. He needed her number and it was the perfect opportunity to get it.
He took her phone and decided to call his phone with hers, save her number and save his on her phone, but when he opened her phone, disappointment appeared on his face. Her phone was locked. It had a password which he did not know.
He then said to himself afterwards, I will just ask her for her number tomorrow when I return her phone to her. As he placed her phone back on the stool, he heard a knock on the door.
He looked at the time and wondered who that could be at such an hour. It was unusual for his assistant to come looking for him at such hour. So it must be somebody else, but who could that be? he asked himself.
He stood up, went towards the door and asked. Who is it? It's Sunita, I think I forgot my phone in your room and I have come to get it. Please open up.
Without saying a word, but with excitement in his eyes to see Sunita again he opened the door and told her to come in.
She came in, he asked her to sit and she sat down on his bed. Though he has comfortable sofas in his suit, but Sunita unconsciously just liked sitting on his bed.
When she sat down, he said to her, yes I did find your phone, you dropped it close to my bed, it wasn't long ago I discovered it.
Alright thanks Rohit, but where is it? Oh I placed it on the stool, I will get it for you, he responded. He quickly got her phone from the stool afterwards and gave it to her.
She took the phone, thanked him and was about to leave when Rohit summoned up the courage to ask her for her number, as a thank you for finding her phone for her.
They laughed at what he said last, and she said but I already thanked you for it but I will give you my number all the same. So she gave him her number and he gave her his number. He wasn't going to collect hers and not give her his.
She left his room soon after and bid him a goodnight. Rohit did not follow her to her room door this time around.
When she got back inside her room, her friends asked her if she did find her phone at Rohit's room? She said yes.
She would have discovered her phone was not with her earlier on but when she came inside the room the first time, her friends teased her and bombarded her with questions of how her dinner went with Rohit.
She told them how it went but did not give than the juicy details like how Rohit held her hands, how he hugged her and how he almost kissed her at one point.
They were friends but Ganga was her best friend. She used to share all sort of juicy topics with Ganga and Ganga equally shared hers with her until Ganga got married.
When she remembered Ganga, she decided to send a we chat message to Ganga. She wasn't hoping for Ganga to respond that late, Ganga should be with her husband, Shoria, but she was certain when she sees her messages on we chat the following day, she would respond.
When she checked her dress pocket for her phone, that is when she discovered she had dropped it, she wasn't too sure if it was in Rohit's room, she hoped it was and decided to go back to his room and check. Luckily for her, her phone was found in his room.
Her friends were relieved she found her phone. They gisted some more, they all had their phones while they were gisting, so it was easy for Sunita to we chat Ganga without raising any suspicion and her friends finding out about the juicy details of her dinner.
They would tease her some more if they did. She didn't want that so she was glad they didn't. Her friends had showered earlier, as they were about to retire to bed, she went to take her bath and slept afterwards.
The morning at the Bhatt Mansion...
They whole family had just finished eating breakfast. Ravi Bhatt, was not too pleased with Sunita. When his wife, Trisha Bhatt informed him of Sunita's plans to spend the weekend with her friends, he had a bad feeling about it.
Sunita had already gone to Bhatt Hotel and Suites as at the time Trisha his wife told him about it. She doesn't like taking the bodyguards along, so what Ravi did was instruct the bodyguards to keep an eye on her.
The previous night, she almost caused a scandal, someone had recognised her, she was with a man eating dinner, the person had a friend in the media so he contacted such friend, who came along to get the news out there that Sunita, the daughter of President Bhatt is having dinner with a man who is bidding for a contract at Bhatt Conglomerates.
President Bhatt is known not to do business with pleasure, he is fare in business dealings, but it doesn't look like it. Has president Bhatt being pretending all this while?
If the news got out there, it would ruin the reputation of President Bhatt and Bhatt Conglomerates. Business will plummet and Bhatt Conglomerates will loose face in Bombay and other cities where they operate.
When the bodyguards informed Ravi of the situation, he instructed the bodyguards not to force Sunita out of the restaurant, it would be bad for business.
So Ravi instructed them to secretly detain the man from the press. He then sent Vijay to buy him off so that he won't release such news.
He also went as far as informing his friend from the press and media, the most powerful person in that industry who controls the circulation of news, to stop any news about his daughter and the Bhatt Conglomerates incase any information has been leaked by another person they must have missed.
He asked Vijay aswell to look into the internet world, Vijay had powerful friends who could take down from the internet quickly any bad news and stop it from spreading. And incase it had spread, they had ways of tackling such and turning things to their favour.
Luckily, the bodyguards did their jobs perfectly, not only did they secretly detain the man from the press, they were also able to cease the cameras and phones from random persons who videoed and snapped pictures. They deleted the videos and pictures, returned their cameras and phones to them and warned them not to repeat such mistakes.
The random persons were so frightened that some couldn't finish their meal and had to leave the restaurant quickly. The ones who could finish, eat their meals silently in a hurry and left.
Ravi Bhatt, sat in the living room, furious. Initially he had plans to give the contract to Rohit and his firm. Now he is having second thoughts.
The other day, Rohit and his assistant did poorly in the board room, he didn't think too much about it, there is still one week left, Rohit and his assistant still had time to redeem themselves.
He used to think highly of Rohit but now, Rohit is hitting on his precious daughter, Rohit was trying to take the back door. He wouldn't allow such.
He doesn't mix business with pleasure, Rohit is aware if his standards. He made plans of how to deal with Rohit. He won't allow Rohit tarnish his reputation. And he won't allow him use and hurt his daughter.
He decided to investigate Rohit's personal life. Up until now, he knew Rohit's business life, but now Rohit had decided to hit on his precious daughter.
He would deal with him. And while he is investigating Rohit, he would have a serious talk with Sunita, to know first hand from her what is going on between Rohit and herself.
He wanted to give Sunita the chance to speak for herself, otherwise he could just do an investigation to find out if Rohit and Sunita are actually in a relationship or not.
He didn't let her mother know of what she has been up to lately. He loves his wife so much and he didn't want her to worry over Sunita. He was going to handle everything. And so far so good, things are working fine.
