Chapter 31: She Wished She Had Seen His Face
It was already late in the evening when Rohit and his assistant finished the final preparation for the business meeting they have with Bhatt Conglomerates the next day.
His assistant was busy pleasuring his wife that morning that he arrived late in Bombay in the afternoon by 2pm.
On his arrival, Rohit showed him to the hotel room that was booked for him on the company's account.
After he freshened up he ate lunch with Rohit at the restaurant. After lunch they both went to Rohit suite.
Rohit had not informed him about their updated business plans from his side, now was a good time to do that.
His assistant was of the impression that it was a great business idea. He also added a few of his own updated ideas.
After which they pitched both ideas together and finalized everything. As at the time they were done it was already 6pm.
He asked his assistant afterwards to retire to his own room because they would be having an early start the next day.
They would be there for two weeks maximum, that was the plan but plans will change later and he and his assistant will spend an extra 2 weeks over there at Bombay.
After his assistant had exited his room, Rohit then decided to call Jasmine. At the first ring Jasmine picked.
She has been waiting for him to call back all day and was getting worried a little when it became 5pm and Rohit had not called.
Hello Rohit, being waiting for you to call me all day, hello Jasmine as I said I was busy with work and I did call you as promised didn't I? asked Rohit.
Yes you did Rohit, but it wasn't earlier. Anyway what exactly where you doing this morning when I called you? asked Jasmine.
I was reviewing the documents for the contract, at that point I was getting more Ideas on how to go about it.
I picked your call because I didn't call you last night, and you know I don't like disturbances when am working?
You know even my dad's or mum's calls, when am engrossed with work, sometimes I don't pick up?
Yes Rohit I remember but being away from you and not hearing from you for long was what got me worried.
Am sorry again, hope your day went well Jazz? Yes it went well Rohit, replied Jasmine. Alright baby, I have an early start tomorrow, I need to go, call you some other time. Night love. Night Night baby replied Jasmine.
Call ended.
Meanwhile at the Mehra Mansion...
Everyone welcomed Prakash back, he was given offerings by his mum, he talked to his dad about business, he chatted with Yuvi and Desha and finally he retired to his room.
When he came back earlier from the beach hoise, before he went to the Mehra mansion, he collected some more evidence against Yash from inspector Rishi Gupta. He added it to the other ones in his safety box where he keeps his important documents.
He then informed the inspector that he would be leaving for the military base the next day. That the inspector should keep on with the investigation.
Whenever he visits home, he will collect all from him. The inspector then wished him luck before he left for the Mehra mansion.
Upstairs in his room, he freshened up and called his buddies. After talking with them on the phone for a while he ended the call. Before he slept, he looked at his screen saver.
Meanwhile at the Arora Mansion...
Jasmine was asleep, in her sleep she dreamt that Yash was treating her badly, and a hero came to save her, he was in an army Uniform. She couldn't see his face.
But before she could look properly to see who was this handsome hero that saved her from Yash, her father in his army uniforms came out and demanded she goes back to Yash.
He then punished the officer hero who saved her. She cried and pleaded with her dad to spare him that he misunderstood the situation, that Yash was the one mis treating her.
Gevan would not Listen, he continued punishing the army officer. The army officer did not protest but took all the punishment.
She started crying and felt something towards the hero who she couldn't see his face. All of a sudden she woke up panting.
She went to her bathroom later after sitting in the bed for a while, washed her face and went downstairs to drink water.
As she was drinking water, she thought about the dream. Normally anytime she cries for a guy, she knew she was having feelings for this guy.
She remembered when she was very little, she did not know what it was then but she knew that anytime this boy next door was scolded by his father, she would cry secretly for him in her room and tell Jasmine about it later.
In the dream she was crying because her father was punishing one of his soldiers because of her. She was engaged to be married to Yash who did not treat her well in the dream.
She wished she had seen his face in the dream. She then wondered if that same officer was currently in the same came military base with her father or another military base.
Jasmine was having worries on her own, she decided she would not bother her with this dream of hers.
After she finished drinking the water, she stopped thinking about the dream and went back upstairs to sleep.
