Chapter 30: Soon the Party Ended
The next day...
Sonal woke up and wondered why Jasmine had not called her back last night. She then picked her phone to call Jasmine.
6 missed calls! Oh my! then she remembered she had muted it the previous day and forgot to un mute it.
She checked the times of the missed calls. Jasmine had called her twice last night and four times that morning.
She felt so bad and hit her forehead lightly that how could she forget to un mute her phone last night.
She quickly called back Jasmine, on the second ring Jasmine picked her call. Hello girl she said, what happened to you? called you yesterday night and this morning but you didn't pick up.
Jazz am so sorry I muted my phone yesterday but forgot to un mute it back later at night. Alright Sonal you forgiven.
And then they talked on the phone longer, they discussed the previous day in detail. Jasmine was going to give the full gist of her date last time with Rohit and at his pent house when she comes over at Sonal's.
They both agreed on that but she did mentioned to Sonal how Rohit did not call her yesterday to tell her he arrived safely that she was sad about it.
And that she gave Rohit a phone call that morning but Rohit told her he was busy that he will call her back later in the day.
Well Jasmine I don't think you have anything to worry about then. He did travel for work after all. And he mentioned he is busy.
Just cheer up am sure later in the day he will call you back and explain everything to you. Just cheer up ok?
Ok Sonal I will. Jasmine felt better after speaking to Sonal about her worries. They chatted some more, discussed about girl stuffs before they ended the call.
After the call, Sonal freshened up and went downstairs for breakfast. She was surprised to see her mum at the breakfast table.
Usually her mum eats breakfast early and goes out to tea with her socialites friends. Mum? she called as she sat down at the dinning table.
Yes Sonal? am surprised you at breakfast today. And am surprised you came downstairs early for breakfast today.
Jasmine you not an early riser. You sure you okay baby? Yes mum everything is fine mum. I didn't hear back from Jasmine yesterday night so I woke up early today to give her a call.
But actually mum it was my mistake. What happened Sonal? Well mum nothing to worry about. What happened was I muted my phone yesterday and forgot to un mute it back later at night.
So when she called, I missed her calls. Ok Sonal, but have you and Jasmine sorted out the misunderstanding? Yes mum we have.
Alright have breakfast now. By this time the bottlers had served her breakfast. Ok mum, and she started eating.
When breakfast was over, Shruti then informed Sonal that she would be hosting her socialites friends to tea today that she wants Sonal to be well behaved on their arrival.
Ok mum I will be in my room, on their arrival if there is any need for introductions, please let me know. Ok Sonal.
Shruti is out most of the time, her socialites friends only comes to tea with her at the Mehra mansion only few times.
At such times, Sonal was still overseas studying. Now that she is back home in India and Shruti was the one hosting her socialites friends, she thought it was a good idea to introduce Sonal to them.
She wanted Sonal to have more friends, and some of her socialites friends had daughters about Sonal's age.
At about noon Shruti's socialites friends States arriving, when all of them arrived, first she gave them a tour of the Mehra mansion.
She had done like wise in the past but Mehra mansion was always innovated every year. After the tour, she took them to the Ivory room where all of her jewels and latest collection of antiques were stored.
After that she took them to the garden where they were served tea and delicious biscuits by her butlers.
They chit chatted afterwards, and when it was time for the socialites to go, she sent one of the butlers to call Sonal.
The butler knocked on Sonal's door and said Madam Shruti sends for you. She is in the garden. Alright thanks I will be right there. The butler left.
Sonal was already ready, all she did now was tie her hair in a ponytail before heading downstairs to the garden.
When she got downstairs, she greeted the socialites friends of her mum. Namaste aunty, and they all responded. Namaste child.
Shruti then introduced her to them as her daughter. What a beautiful daughter you have, one of them said.
The others agreed and another mentioned that she should come with her mum to tea sometime, that her daughter is also of Shruti age, so they could catch up and become friends someday.
She politely replied, thanks aunty I will. The socialites left afterwards, Shruti excuted them and Sonal went back to her room to finish the book she was reading.
Meanwhile at the beach house...
Prakash, Pulkit and Sagar has been partying all day. There was champagne, they even invited some neighbours to party with them.
The neighbours agreed to party with them and volunteered to bring girls as the party would not be complete without girls.
That was how girls ended up partying with the guys in the beach. Everyone had fun. Prakash only danced with them while the others did a little more than dance with the girls, like kissing, smooching and even sleeping with them.
Sagar and Pulkit only kissed the girls, they were not ready for anything more, somehow they were being influenced by Prakash.
Soon the party ended, the neighbours and the girls left, while Prakash and his buddies packed up and headed home.
