Chapter 29: Fear of Losing Her
Prakash, Pulkit and Sagar where sitting outside of their beach house, surrounded by a fire and they were with mash mellows.
Each of them used a mash mellow stick to cook a mash mellow on the fire before they ate it.
They were chit chatting about their activities earlier. Earlier on when they had arrived at the beach house, they went on ski diving and when they were back they had lunch and afterwards went on mountain climbing.
When they came back from mountain climbing, they freshened up, had light dinner and now they are outside of the beach crib preparing mash mellows.
After eating mash mellows, it was already very late, they decided it was time to go back inside the house.
The weather was getting cold even with the fire surrounding them. Sagar put out the fire while Pulkit and Prakash took the chairs inside.
Sagar joined them later after putting out the fire by taking the rest of the mash mellow inside.
When all was cleared they all went inside the beach house. Prakash took the most fancy room, Pulkit took the next most fancy room while Sagar choose from the last two rooms left.
They choose rooms according to how they came. Prakash arrived first before Pulkit and Sagar respectively.
In his room, Prakash was thinking about his beloved, he felt bad he was leaving for the military soon.
He wanted to stay behind a little longer to protect and be with her but he knew he had to go, otherwise he will loose his military badge and be kicked out of the military.
This was shameful, he was determined not to embarrass his family as well. He promised himself that when he gets back from the military base, he would collect more evidence against Yash that inspector Rishi was still collecting for him.
He still did not know who she was, but be was certain their paths would cross again. He prayed that he won't be too late when he comes back from the military base.
Fear of losing her to that Yash of a guy in a marriage gripped him but little did he know that he won't have to wait till he comes back before he would see her again.
In a couple of months, their destiny will make them meet at the military base. And that she would be a difficult flower to attain.
He did not know the many other obstacles that destiny will bring his way before he can finally be happy with his beloved.
He looked at his screen saver one more time before he finally dozed off to sleep. At this time, his buddies has already slept.
Meanwhile at the Singh mansion...
Jasmine was not at all happy that Rohit did not call, she would have called him to find out how his trip went but she was very busy all day.
She had never called Rohit at such late hours before, she figured he will be asleep, she did not want to disturb him so she decided to call him the next day.
She remembered she promised to call Sonal back. Sonal had no problem with late night calls but she dreaded early morning calls because she likes to get her beauty sleep.
She called Sonal...ring ring ring. But Sonal did not pick her calls. She called again...ring ring ring, still Sonal did not pick.
This was unlike Sonal. She figured Sonal was preoccupied with something, and decided she would call both her fiancee and her best friend the next day.
She was unhappy as it is because Rohit did not call and now Sonal did not pick her calls, she became more unhappy. After a while she slept off.
Sonal had muted her phone earlier on because she was watching her favorite zee world show, she did not want any calls to take her away from that moment.
Although her father had bought her Dstv Explorer, she knew she could pause, record, rewind or fast forward her favorite show.
But because her day was boring she decided to enjoy her show and did not want to be bothered by calls. She would call the caller later.
But after the show ended, she forgot to un mute her cell phone. After her shower, she decided to read a book.
She was reading the book to keep her self busy before Jasmine calls her. She slept off later on, 3O minutes before Jasmine called. This was 11pm.
Meanwhile at the Mehra mansion...
Yuvi was on the phone with his beloved beautiful fiancee. They discussed all the activities of the day which was similar, giving out of offerings and food to the less privileged ones.
After that they discussed about their naughty behaviour at the pent house and how Yuvi slept off the previous night and how they got disturbed that morning by a call from big bro Prakash.
Natasha also asked Yuvi how he was coping so far in the company. She also encouraged him that he has been doing well so far that he should keep doing what he knows how to do best at the office.
Yuvi responded that he was coping well that he is not giving up, he became the heir of Mehra Conglomerates because his big bro Prakash choose a different path.
He did not want to waste such opportunity at success in life that is why he has been Learning the ropes of business all this while from his father and he has been working very hard at the office.
Am glad to hear that Yuvi said Natasha. Am glad you glad replied Yuvi. They both said their goodbyes on the phone and ended the calls. Afterwards they both slept peacefully.
By this time, the whole of India was asleep, but not the world because of the different time zones.
