Chapter 22: You Owe Me One
Jasmine looked at her beautiful engagement ring, she loved it but she loved Rohit more. She was missing Rohit so badly already. Rohit was travelling the day after tomorrow.
Upstairs in her room, she brushed her teeths, took her bath, got dressed and came back downstairs.
She informed her mum she wants to spend the night at her friends place, but she didn't mention the name of the friend. Ok child take care of your self and go with the bodyguards.
Mum, I will be fine, I don't need the bodyguards, am going for a sleepover and I won't be back till tomorrow. Alright but be careful and drive safely, and call me as soon as you get there. Yes mum I will.
Her mum assumed she was spending the night at Sonal's because it was only at Sonal's she ever had sleep overs ever since she was a child, so she didn't ask her about it. Her dad was still busy at the office and was not yet home.
After Informing her mum, she went back upstairs and took a small bag containing few items, cloths and toiletries that she knew she would need.
As soon as she stepped outside of the mansion and moved a few distance away from it, she gave Rohit a call. Ring ring.... Hello babe, he spoke after picking the call.
Are you home now darling? Yes I just got home, you alright baby? Yes I am, she replied. Are you at your family home or your pent house?
Am at my pent house now. You know am traveling the day after tomorrow, it will be easier to go to the air port from here because it's closer. Ok honey, she replied. They ended their call.
She smiled, she was going to surprise him by showing up at his pent house without letting him know. And hoped he would take the surprise visit very well.
As soon as she entered her car, she gave Jasmine a call...Ring ring, at the third ring Sonal picked. Hello Jass.
Hello girl, I need a favour from you. Alright Jass what it is? Am spending the night as Rohit's. Please incase my parents call at yours, can you cover for me. Sure What are friend for?

He proposed, dramatically she lifted her left finger as if Sonal was physically present. Really Jass? Sonal asked excitedly. Oh yeah girl. Congrats girl. Thanks girl sonal replied.

Sonal was offcourse happy for her best friend Jasmine but deep down she was saddened for herself.
As she looked at her bare fingers, Yash has refused to decorate them, he never proposed to her, he believed since they were already engaged by family ties, there was no need to buy one for her.
He once said that naturally they were going to hold an engagement ceremony were they would exchange rings. But he also gave her money to purchase a ring herself if she really wants one.
She took the money but used it up to purchase her other nececissites. And Yash never bothered asking her about it.
She sighed and looked forward to the full gist about Sonal's date out and stay over at Rohit's pent house.
Sonal drove her car towards the direction of Rohit's pent house. Sonal had been there a couple of times but she has never spent the night there.
She anticipated how the night was going to end up. Excited as she drove she reminisced about their time at the karaoke bar
